Old fashion customer service in a modern, bright and clean well organised store. Always friendly staff willing to help solve your problems or just direct you to what you are looking for. My only complaint: No handicap parking, the closest parking for handicap is in front of the Dollar Tree so it is always in use. I went into Ace on a Friday afternoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed to get a gallon of paint, which needed to be color matched and mixed. The paint guy(his name might have been David but I can't remember now) was not at the desk but came over quickly. He doubled checked everything and made sure I was getting the correct paint. I was looking at other paint and made sure I was finding what I needed and gave me some tips. read more

He answered my emails on his day off and ordered in exactly what I needed, plus co-ordinated the pick time up with my daughter's trip down to Washington. I have shopped at both the Blaine and Ferndale stores, they great locations for us Canadians who like to bordershop. Always helpful and pleasant to deal with. I order Thoroseal or now called MasterSeal 582. It's a great place to preorder over the phone and have it delivered to the store. read more

Ace hardware in blaine wash is the worst hardware store I have ever bin to, the staff was very rude and unhelpful if you want a good hardware store go to pacific builders at least they know what they are doing. read more
