More bad experiences than good. A surly older woman overcharged me this time. When I asked to see the manager, she refused to let me, telling me I could only line up at customer service. When I insisted, she shrugged her shoulders and started muttering under her breath as if she was the injured party. My family has shopped there for years, but will likely move to a store that has better help and a manager that you can actually see. read more

There is a guy who works in the photo department; he is old and has a pony tail and scraggly facial hair. Avoid dealing with him if you can. I went in to ask about cameras and he seemed annoyed with me even showing up. When I asked about a certain model (almost $2,000 worth) - one I was serious about trying and buying, he said they didn't have it. Thankfully the young girl working there pointed out it was there. I brought my own lenses to try out as I wanted to see if the camera suited my needs as I do videography as well as photos. He seemed to not want to answer any of my questions (I'm guessing he didn't know the answers) and when I asked to try using the camera, he ignored me and fiddled around with buttons for a minute.. I asked again twice if I can try the camera and finally he let me. Less than 2 minutes later while standing there in silence, he took the camera from me and started helping a girl that showed up asking about a $100 camera. He didn't excuse himself. He just ignored me and helped her! When he finally came back to me 3 minutes later, I tried taking some photos but it wasn't working. He couldn't get it working either. I wanted to shift to another camera then. I gave him back the camera, he put it in the cabinet and walked away as I was asking to see another camera! He came back a few seconds later and I asked _again_ about another camera; he clearly didn't want to show me anything and didn't want to help. In fact he seemed irritated with the entire 15 minutes I was there. Managers, this employee needs some customer service training! The young girl was willing to help me; asking questions, but he cut her off and made me not want to ever come back. I'll take my $2,000 elsewhere. read more

I was impressed with the variety of products and product categories in London Drugs (they remind me of my favorite American drug store chain - Walgreens). The staff is super friendly. Best of all, when they have a clearance sale - they have a clearance sale. I was in desperate need for some luggage and they were having a clearance sale. I ordered 2 suitcases and was given a delivery date of 5-15 business days. My suitcases arrived in 3 business days! They were well wrapped in bubble wrap (which was a treat in and of itself as I love popping bubble wrap. The quality of the suitcases impressed me along with the price - they were reduced to $69.99 from $335!! I was hoping for a distinctive color so they would stand out in the airport and I'm happy with that as well (I love purple). There have tons of parking and extensive hours which is great if you want to pop in after work. The store is kept clean and the aisles are tidy which makes for a smooth shopping experience. read more

Worst photo lab . Wanted to make a few collages after my sons birth . The app itself is straight forward but when London drugs receives the collage you would like to print - there seems to be a glitch . So not all the photos get transferred over . I made a huge collage with over 20 pictures added to it , only about 12 made it and they decided to print half the collage with blank spaces all over it - did not tell me this as I went to pick up , charged me full price . I get home and now I have a collage with empty spaces all over it . Definitely not worth it . Would never go to this photo lab again . read more

Purchased Logix car charger, once installed in my car, destroyed my Apple cable. I went back into the store, spoke to the manager, they suggested I purchase a new cable to get me through and they replaced the charger at no charge. They then sent both the faulty charger that caused the problem and the cord to the manufacturer (Logix) for review. 1 week later the manufacturer contacted me, fedex'd next day upgraded product then what I originally purchased, apologized for the convenience and London Drugs refunded my money's I originally spent. Talk about going beyond the call of duty. Highly recommend. People rarely write reviews when a store does great. Not only am I happy, I've told everyone I know to purchase their stuff from London drugs. Especially this location. read more

Tiny parking lot paired with terrible customer service means I won't be returning to this location of LD in the future. They were saved from a 1-star review by their incredible selection of products. I had rewards to utilize before their expiration and was unsure what I was going to use them on. Within two minutes of walking in the store I found exactly what I wanted to purchase as a birthday gift for my uncle and got in line to check out. Here began my issues. The first checkout lane I went to had an older gentleman helping an older woman checkout with a complicated purchase. Wanting to avoid the waiting I went to the next aisle - it was empty with its light on, indicating it was ready for business. Around the corner I could see 4 female employees chatting about. I stood in the aisle for a couple of minutes waiting for them to finish their conversation - they ignored me. I eventually went back to the first checkout aisle where the older guy was still trying to workout the problem for the lady. Anyway, I ended up waiting about 10 minutes to checkout for a purchase that took me 2 minutes to find. The guy at checkout was rude (probably frustrated from the lady before me and how long it took to solve her problem) and the system for checkout is so outdater that there isn't a pinpad to type in your member number and checkout all in one go. They could really upgrade this old store! read more

Easter weekend and not much was open in the strip mall. I was so impressed by this store. I've been in other London Drugs, but this is their superstore of London Drugs. They carry all their standard fare like other stores, but in addition, electronics, audio, computers, cameras, appliances! I also liked their recycle center where you can drop off batteries, small appliances, light bulbs, florescent lights. Check out was quick and efficient. Parking was easy. I will be back! read more

I use the photo shop on a regular basis mostly for work. This includes enlargements, laminate and mounting. My wife loves pics and also gets photos printed on a regular basis. We've tried other developing options in the area and this is the best by far. Service and turnaround time is excellent although at times they are short staffed. Perhaps the colour consistency is not 100% always but excellent value overall. read more

Tech Department the Best & Cute Affordable Home Accessories After looking seemingly everywhere else for a charger cord for a MacBook Pro 2012 13", both online and in person in stores (Apple Store is not near me so I didn't want to have to go there), London Drugs not only had it, but their tech guy was super knowledgeable and efficient. Then, having finally found that, I was able to enjoy browsing through the rest of this London Drugs store, and found some great things at great prices, like a full length mirror for $20, a beautiful pottery vase for $6 and a larger seagrass basket for $20. I also liked being able to grab some grocery items there as well as things I needed like batteries for my TV remote and flashlight. I took one star off as the clerk I got at the checkout only loaded some of my items into my cart then turned to the next person even after I asked her to please put the bags (they were lightweight, not heavy) in my cart and also I didn't find her attitude that professional. But really otherwise, a great experience! read more

sorry I couldn't rate this lower. The store itself is pretty much the same as any other LD around, however without question the pharmacy is brutal. The manager of the pharmacy may have a degree in pharmacy but without question not in business. Today was the last straw for me as once again I ordered meds online and once again the order was unfilled when I got there. I have had numerous conversations in the past over the usage of the website to refill a prescription. There doesn't seem to be a list of duties for the staff, it would seem that the first people in the store turn on the lights and then check the overnight orders on the website . If this seems simplistic , it is! After explaining all this to the manager of the pharmacy there still is no process to correct this problem. I realize it doesn't much matter to London Drugs as it is a huge corporate company but I will be as verbal as possible to dissuade all the people I know to go elsewhere after all there are pharmacies everywhere that would love the business , but I am done with London Drugs. read more

Very nasty and unhelpful auto insurance. I tried getting auto insurance and some middle aged white woman was talking on the phone with her friend. she wouldn;t even help at all and started acting like she was doing me a favor. She was very nasty. The staff is extremely belligerent and nasty towards the customers. Don't get auto insurance from this place. read more
