They arrived on time and were so professional and swift to install my new washer and dryer. They were respectful to my flooring and got me totally set up. This worked perfectly for us as we had a side of beef arriving in early November. At the beginning of November, I followed up on the delivery date and was informed it had been delayed until the end of the month--but was assured it would arrive then. Because of this, I had to make arrangements to store the beef elsewhere until the freezer arrived. On November 28, I called again to confirm delivery timing and was told it had been delayed yet again--possibly up to another 90 days due to a manufacturing issue. I spoke with the manager, Steve, who simply told me it was "out of his control" and directed me to their fine-print policy. When I asked whether they could provide a temporary freezer or offer a comparable model to honour the sale, he refused. The next day, I went to the store to speak with him in person. Steve again refused to take any responsibility or offer any solution. When I requested a full refund, he said it would be processed the following Monday--and then abruptly told me that I "could leave now." The level of customer service at this location was extremely disappointing. I have purchased from Coast Appliances before, but I was shocked at the rudeness, lack of accountability, and complete unwillingness to help resolve a problem that stemmed from their own delays. We went is with a model in mind to purchase but, due to the availability of stock (most seemed to have a 2 month wait list, according to him) we switched and settled for Samsung appliances for each. We had asked for an estimated delivery date, so we could book the install (the install was not something that they arrange for you, so be warned) and he said that he could not give one and to check in a week. I called a week later, and was told by Ryan again that Samsung does not provide estimated delivery dates, which makes no sense when you have to book an install that is also sitting at weeks away for schedule. I advised that I am only looking for an ETA, and if there were delays, I understand as I also am in sales and understand supply chain issues. Ryan responded that he would not provide an ETA, and "maybe he should discuss this with my husband as I clearly didn't understand". The demeaning way he treated me was out of line. I hung up and called back to speak to someone else, and was provided with the ETA of delivery with no issue. I made an official complaint with the manager, Shannon, of the Surrey/Langley store and was assured that Ryan would be pulled off our file. I booked the install with the installation company. The next day, Ryan advised the install company to cancel my appointment, without authorization from me or my husband. When the day came to have the install, it was discovered that the entirely wrong dishwasher was ordered, and the one we were given had no stainless steel plate on the front. The dishwasher is a complete eyesore and looks awful. We are currently in the process of listing our home, and now have to put all of that on hold as the kitchen can not be photographed or shown with the dishwasher looking the way it does. The resolution from Coast appliance was to completely replace the dishwasher with the right one. This is now not only holding up us listing our home by a week, but is also causing me to take a minimum of 4 hours off work. I have called the regional manager Gabby, multiple times and have yet to receive a call back. The only compensation that has been offer to us is $100! How they feel that is adequate compensation, when it doesn't even cover the cost of my missed work, not to mention the delay in selling our house, is beyond me. Do not use this company to purchase your appliances. It is not worth it. The additional work you have to complete in the installation and general follow-up is not worth any amount you may save on the purchase price. Find a company who values their customers.

We found the salesperson (Sho) to be very helpful, knowledgeable, professional and not pushy so we made the purchase on our first visit. Unfortunately, since we didn't do our usual research, we discovered that the dishwasher leaked shortly after installation. It was a brand new model and the cool features seemed perfect but, online reviews revealed that this model had a bad failure rate for leaks. Sho and the store manager were quick to respond to our concerns and went above and beyond in getting the problem solved. Sho recommended an alternative unit based on our specs, and emailed brochures saving us another trip to the shop (this time we double-checked the online reviews). Both of them responded quickly to emails, something that many retailers are slow at doing. They quickly arranged for delivery and installation. (we hate hand washing!) We're happy with the replacement. We prefer shopping local business and will continue to recommend Trail.

Pam the manager and Jag in Sales provided extraordinary service for us and the issue was resolved the same day we went back to the store to see what the Brick could do for us. They went beyond what we were hoping for. It's easy to complain and get angry when things don't go your way or meet your expectations, but treat someone with respect and give them the opportunity to make it right. At one point she even asks a fellow coworker: "Hey, is 2026 over five years past 2020?" Despite communicating numerous times that we were never informed of the sub policy, it seemed the only information going through her head is that we cant do simple math and that we were in the wrong. If you ever plan on going to the Brick for their customer services, watch out for an asian woman with glasses who wears orangey red lipstick and seems to think she is the smartest person on the planet.
