It has 12 hrs. on the meter. I was mowing Thursday 7/30/26 and the right-side spindle on the mowing deck broke. It sheared off right above the bearing. I removed the spindle and was going to take it in for a replacement. It was all of a 10-minute job. I called Doug Gilles, the owner and my personal salesman. He told me they would have to do the repair for the warranty to be in effect. So, I put it back together and told him I would bring it in. Well, I took it in today, 8/6/2026, I went inside and they said I had to pay a $50 inspection fee for them to check it over and see if it was under warranty, (and not refundable). The counter guy said they didn't have the part, which I knew already, as Doug told me they had to order it. The whole assembly was $148. So the time to load it and take it in and wait two weeks for them to inspect and possibly order the part is a bit of a colossal waste of my time and effort. I could have just ordered it online and had the part in two days . All for a whopping $148 part, that SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED BY WARRANTY. That I'm also sure they'll figure out a way to not cover it under warranty, then charge me for the $148 parts and whatever their shop/labor charges are. WARRANTY HAH! Do i recommend Gilles or Country Clipper??? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Sincerely, 1 Pissed Off Customer! Doug
