ACE Pickleball Club is your place if you want to avoid unpleasant outdoor factors: rain, wind, cold, excessive heat, sun damage, and mosquitoes. 15 courts, 1 dinking practice court. The setup is often 2 beginner courts, 1 challenge court, 4 or 5 advanced courts, and the rest are intermediate or possibly reserved. Removeable signs in front of each court can be swapped out by management to designate level of play or purpose (i.e., reserved, ladies open play). Free wifi. ACE provides balls for use while you're there. There is sometimes a cart with a staff member, often Mark Nives, that can clean your paddle, change your overgrip, provide a rubber band for your hair, or give you a small bottle of water for free. There is an exercise room to do warmup or cooldown exercises: mats, stretch bands, foam rollers, calf stretching slant boards, jump ropes, exercise bike, balance balls, etc. At the front desk, you can check out a demo paddle if you leave collateral (i.e., keys, drivers license). Certain courts have cameras if you want to record video of your play. Download the PlaySight app, create an account, and scan the court's QR code to start recording a game. Each court has its own paddle rack. If 4 or more paddles are waiting, it's 4 on, 4 off. If less than 4, winners can stay on for one additional game and next 2 players rotate on. If you have an unlimited membership, you can rent the one Titan ball machine 2 weeks in advance. I hear it's hard to get a reservation. You're pretty much checking early on a daily basis for the next open date 2 weeks ahead. The machine gets fully booked. If you are brand new to pickleball, you can register from the ACE Pickleball website for a free Intro to Pickleball class offered 4 times every week as of January 2026: Sat 4 pm, Sun 9 am, Tue 3:30 pm, or Thu 3:30 pm. Paddles and balls provided. There are special events, like glow-in-the-dark pickleball or Christmas parties. The club sells affordable glow-in-the-dark logo shirts. The color white glows well. Lighting could be better. I don't recommend lobbing because it's easy to lose sight of the ball in the ceiling scaffolding or it could hit the ceiling. Glow-in-the-dark pickleball is a fun novelty, but it's not easy to see and react to the ball. Some days are more fun than others depending on the players, their skills, and their attitudes. To have a better time, try to partner with a similar level player or a friend. Men's and women's restrooms and 1 changing room, but no showers. There is an area with water fountains and a water dispenser, but I think they all share the same plumbing, so only one can be used at a time. Restrooms and water are in the back, so not the most convenient to get to. You can hit against the wall by the dinking court and common area of tables and chairs. There is an event room you can rent. ACE is located on Greenback Lane in Folsom near the border of Orangevale. It's surprisingly in the same plaza with Ace Hardware. Other businesses in the same plaza include Falling Prices, Starbucks, Carl's Jr, Taj Grill, and Subway. It's conveniently located near many local restaurants. It can be a bit troublesome to turn left on Greenback Lane if you are coming from the north; I often have to wait through 2 traffic signal cycles. It also can be hard to turn left from the plaza onto Greenback Lane because you have to cross 2 lanes and a median turning lane. The first month of either the unlimited membership or midday membership was free. The free membership began on Grand Opening Day, 10/24/25, so it didn't matter what day you signed up or began attending. Everyone gets billed the 24th of each month for the next month, so cancel your membership by the 23rd to avoid being charged for the next month. I got a free midday membership, which allows you to enter 11 AM to 2 PM daily and stay as long as you want. The midday membership excludes you from reserving the limited court times, reserving the Titan ball machine, signing up for certain classes and events, and scanning yourself in with the ACE Pickleball Club app. If you are finding yourself running late to enter by 2 PM, call the front desk to give them a heads up. 5 minutes late is OK, but it's best to call if you will be later. You can sign up for month-to-month memberships or lock in your rate with an annual membership. The month-to-month midday memberships were sold out on 1/5/2025, but you can ask to be put on the waitlist. As of January 2026, the midday membership is currently $49 per month or $499 per year. The unlimited membership is $109 per month or $1099 per year. A drop-in day pass is $35. Every member is allowed one guest pass per month, but call ahead to check how busy the club is before bringing a guest. If it's a rainy day, busy day, or tournament day, members have admission priority over guests and free trial day visitors. There is now a youth policy, so don't expect to bring in kids under age 8 for free and leave them unattended. read more

Can't get a better deal than that. I'm learning how to play and meeting new people, getting exercise, and having fun. The club is new and clean. Visited ACE Pickleball on a Monday morning, and while there were a few open courts when I arrived, I noticed every court had action on it after my first game! It's a very well thought out club with attentive staff and all the "little things" available on site. Need a new grip, paddle face cleaning, or you ran out of water, they have you covered with staff roaming the alleys with a fully stocked cart and assistance available with a smile. Balls are provided and level of play is clearly marked on every court. The club is nicely appointed with tables and bistro table seating dotting courtside, with a larger area with tables and chairs near the small court for kitchen drills. There is also a nice changing room and clean lavatory. Only negative is that this club is a 45-min drive (on a good traffic day), from where I live. Other than that, ACE is a great place to get in some great rounds of pickleball with a good variety of skilled players. Go check them out, you'll be delighted you did! read more

Can't say enough good things about Ace Pickleball Club...the other pickleball clubs cannot compare to what they have to offer. Excellent customer service! There are two kinds of membership levels, unlimited access which cost $109 and mid day which is $79. They also offer group lessons and have regular tournaments. The lighting on the courts has been greatly improved...they have a roving cart which has all sorts of goodies including hair ties, bottled water, first aid supplies and grips. Mark offers free grip changes while you wait. They even started offering small snacks and international food appetizers every first Friday of the month . Can't go wrong with this place! I joined since the opening and Ace has been a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. They seem to balance the skill levels with the courts well. Open play is the focus. Members can walk in and join a game. Court reservations are available. Give Ace a try. Even if you're a beginner. They have training sessions for beginners and courts available to learn. read more

So far so good! Currently membership includes the first month as free so that's nice. The facility is large with 15 courts, a dinking court and even a beautiful large stretching room that has lots of stretching items included. The owner Mudki seems warm and caring. The other staff seem nice too. Mark Nives is awesome and a very lovely woman named Mary gave us very detailed tour. During the opening they handed out waters to ensure everyone was well hydrated. The courts are professional grade which helps with less harsh impact on your joints like knees and so forth. My family and I can't wait to come back! read more

I would have given this facility a 5 star rating for all the amazing things they have going on in their club. We've been a member since the club open up and we go together as a family all the time together with our friends with their kids as well. We all have a good experience, not until last night, a staff member named "Jennifer" approached us in a rude manner, telling us that they are gonna "kick everyone out and they would be glad if we switch to other club". We've been playing for over 3 years now and have been in multiple clubs both outdoors and indoors and we never have this issue before with not allowing our kids to be in the facility. Our kids are not being disruptive to other members and the property. We chose to try out this club for the community that they are trying to build, but now, we are not as sure. read more

I love Ace Pickleball Club In Folsom. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about Pickleball. I love how gritty the courts are and the vibe. It's a 2 on 2 off, or 4 on 4 off rule. There's something for every player level. They have 15 courts, the ball machine is free with your membership and they have a stretch room, with a bike and mats. Love the cushioned courts. Drop in all day is so convenient!. Hate the lack of lighting. Some courts are dark with shadows. The intermediate courts are filled with low intermediates, making it difficult to find your fit. Advance courts have pros playing. 4.5 plus should have one court. read more
