    Drag Queen Cast
    Jacqueline O.

We came for drag brunch as a day for the girls and it was SO fun! The staff is so welcoming and very attentive, they make SURE that you can take advantage of the bottomless drinks included with your admission! I thought it was a really great price point ($55pp) for all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, bottomless drinks (mimosas, bloody mary, a couple of domestic beer options) which you could mix and match. The food was pretty good for a buffet, I would have liked them to have had more chicken tender refills (those went fast) because they were actually really great tenders. It also would've been nice if the food was out on heaters of some sort because by the time you went back later for another plate, a lot of it had cooled down. Not a big deal, though. I did wish that they brought out the food a little sooner, though. Doors were at 10:30am and food wasn't out until 11:45am. We managed to get more than a little tipsy since the drinks were flowing on empty stomachs lol. One girl in our party had to leave by 12:30 so I knew she was rushing to eat and I felt a little bad. This also meant that most people were actively eating during the first few acts of the drag show. Again, not a huge deal but I know I would've like to be mostly finished by the time the show started so I could focus on the show. The performers were amazing and the hosts were so warm and welcoming. They even stopped by every single table to intro themselves and ask if we were celebrating anything special. Make sure to bring cash! They can even exchange your big bills for $1's if needed, which was super nice and also leaves you with no excuse. It really adds to the show experience when you have $1s to give lol, and you should always be supporting at drag shows anyway! The drag queens were super talented and did a mix of singing and dance performances. There were also two audience participation games (trivia and a contest) throughout which was fun! You're able to take pictures with the queens at the end, they are so sweet! I am bad at ping pong but also worth mentioning that you get unlimited ping pong play with your admission. There's plenty of tables so you don't have to wait or anything. This is a super cute spot and a really fun show. Most importantly the staff is SO nice! I highly recommend coming by for drag brunch!

Came here for a Halloween Drag Brunch! What a fun show. The Drag Queens were engaging and knew how to keep the crowd lively. The brunch buffet had quite the variety, from eggs benedict, to pizza, to chicken tenders, my plate was packed full and no tastebud went untouched! We got to play ping pong after, and it was a blast. This would be a great place to bring a group of friends! I would definitely come back!

What a hidden gem! It's so fun with inters games, lots of drink and food options and the highlight - huge tv screens to watch your favorite game. The atmosphere and service are impeccable - you're welcomed, relaxed - just like being a teenager hanging out in a friends basement- in the best way possible. Come here and you will be a regular. Trust me.

This was my first time at AceBounce. We made a reservation in advance for a party of 12. Our plan was to play shuffleboard and try AI ping pong. The place is huge, with many ping pong tables, and it was quite busy on a Friday night. Since we had a reservation, we started with shuffleboard. We ordered appetizers, cocktails, and beer, the food was good. We were excited to try AI ping pong, but unfortunately, it was not working. They offered us a regular ping pong table instead, but since the place was busy, we only got one table for our group of 12. Some of our friends joined later in the night, and luckily, they were able to get drinks even without a reservation. Overall, it's a good place to hang out with friends for a fun night of games and drinks. However, the service could have been better.

I have been to ace bounce many times for office events. We recently swung by Ace Bounce for a friend's bday. We started off by ordering a bunch of apps. We ordered the pizza, fries, cheese curds, chicken wings. We ordered a bunch of cocktails and some wine too. The pizza, fries and chicken wings were great, but the cheese curds were a bummer. For games, we played on the shuffleboard and later were supposed to try AI ping pong. However, later we got to know that the AI ping pong was non functional. We switched to regular ping pong instead. Overall, the vibe was great. AI ping pong was a bummer and the servers were a bit rude. The service sucks, but other things were great so I will be back.

Visited for the beers but really enjoyed the food. I got vegetable lumpia and wow it was delicious. My partner got detroit style pizza which was outstanding, melt in your mouth, fluffy crust. I got their hard seltzer which was very yummy. I liked that there were many types of drinks - beer, seltzer, cocktails. Would like to see more cider. The seating was very casual - picnic tables indoors, real chairs may have been more comfy but it was nice to accommodate our group of 6 quickly. Service was good.

This was such a cool experience. My boyfriend and I found this place on a whim when we didn't know what to do last night in chicago. Luckily, reservations were still available to book out a table so we ate before our 7pm reservation. The waitress was super sweet and helpful when I asked for recommendations- I wish I caught her name! The buffalo egg rolls and the Diablo pizza were so good! We also got some beers and the espresso martini as well as the pong star martini which were both strong but super flavorful! (DANGEROUS!) haha Such a cool vibe, tables lined up, and dim lighting for a cool pool hall vibe but classy almost! Def recommend for a fun night. Reservations are for 55min!

The only reason I am giving this place a 2 is because the ping pong tables were functional and there was a VERY friendly staff member which helped our party of 4 in the back by the game tables. We came here on Friday 12/22/2023 to celebrate my friend's birthday. We had a reservation which was made in advance. Once we arrived we found 4 staff members at the front desk. Unfriendly demeanor is an understatement. After pulling up our reservation we presented a "90 minute" ping pong on us coupon which the venue hands out liberally. The coupon we presented was obtained on a prior visit. The staff at the front desk didn't acknowledge the coupon and we were told we couldn't use it because the reservation was made in advance. I pointed out to the staff that the print on the paddle states "for advanced bookings of up to 6". They proceeded to state that this was not for reservations and only for walk ins. We decided to not press on this even though we weren't provided with a satisfactory answer. Ambiance in the game room is fun. Good music and friendly staff. We didn't order food so I can't comment on that. We ordered a bucket of beers and the waitress opened all the bottles even though we only requested 4 to be opened (we had a party of 4). This caused the beer for lose its carbonation. After our paid 60 minutes of game time was over I decided to "walk in" to the front desk and presented the 90 minute coupon with a request to play. The same staff at the front desk couldn't refute the coupon this tome so they begrudgingly extended my play time. This venue has a lot of potential but unfriendly staff at the front desk make the venue hard to enjoy. I will not be returning. Management should either get rid of the coupons or appropriately train the staff..... in addition to providing customer service coaching.

Saturday brunch at AceBounce is the place to be! Lemme telllll you - I cane here and definitely had a ball. Brunch here is not your standard boring get drunk off bottomless and go home. Nope! Here, you can get drunk, while eating all you can eat, playing ping pong and singing karaoke. Now you don't have to do it all at once (but if you do, that's your business. Mmmkay!) Food: I would rate the food a 8/10 but what can you expect when they're dishing out massive amounts of food to feed adults while they're drinking? It's such a large variety of food so if you don't care for something, trust there is something else that will satisfy your stomach needs. They also serve Bellinis, mimosas and bloody Mary's unlimited and refill your cup for you. There's even a cute Bloody Mary station to build your own! Service/ staff: top tier. I pray Christee reads this because sis did get thaaaang to make sure my girls and I were out of our seats. AceBounce wants you to be active and engage and meet new people. Like don't come to look cute (but again if you do that's your business). I would say come to have fun and show someone a good time! There's no doubt about it that I'll be returning with a larger group of people. $60/pp is well worth it.

This place is awesome!!!! I decided to take my office there for the Fiscal Year Party and they laid it out for us. Booking the room was easy and the communication was seamless!!!! Picking the food was an easy process as well!!!! Our group was about 65 people and it was more than enough space!!!!! If you're looking for a place to take a group in the heart of downtown then this is your place!!!!

Loves the vibes and there were ping pong games to play. Kinda expensive but drinks and food were amazing. Recommend coming here with a group of friends or a date!

"This was the most fun I've had in a long time." - my cousin I was showing around Chicago This place is FUN. If you're looking for a place to take your friends/date for drinks and some friendly competition, this place is IT. We grabbed food with friends near the river walk for dinner, and then made our way across the bridge to AceBounce. We didn't have reservations and they weren't taking walk ins so we ended up making a reservation for a few hours later, and walked next door to Flight Club to hang out until it was our time. GREAT Friday night vibes with the lights and the music that got us dancing while playing ping pong. They currently have a deal where margaritas and margarita pizzas are all $8 each!! It's a month long deal that ends around the first week of April, so don't miss out!! We all got margaritas and paid for a 90 minute ping pong session. Such a unique concept, great ambiance, great drinks, and wonderful staff! The best part about playing ping pong here is that there's a bin full of balls at each table so no matter your skill level you won't be running around chasing balls all over the place. The staff also come around and pick up balls to put back in the bin every so often so you never run out! Wonderful service and everything was a great price. For $8 per person for a 90-minute session this is a STEAL. Guaranteed great time. Looking forward to coming back very soon!

What a fun and different kind of place to go! My friend mentioned she had played table tennis while in Chicago, so we had to find it and check it out. They do offer pool as well, but they have all kinds of table tennis going on. They supply a box with plenty of balls, because uh hemmm...you might lose one or two during the game. I killed my boyfriend at this game. It was so fun to not only play, but to demolish him. Okay, maybe he did get a game or two, but I was overall champ...not competitive at all, am I? You can order food and drinks. They have a full bar. He doesn't drink, and I very rarely do, so we stuck with food. He got these sliders, and I got the mini chicken tacos. They were good! I was impressed with the food. We scarfed it all up. The only thing is the menu was pretty limited. I saw pics on Yelp of food that wasn't even available, and sure it's because they are short staffed. You pay by the hour here, and I can't remember how much it was but I think it was close to $40, but I just really enjoyed doing something active, something unique. They played good music too. If you want to try your skills and do something outside the box, come here! I don't think you will be disappointed.

All the premier dinners come with salad, cheese, fondue, and the chocolate fondue - You are just choosing what protein you would like. The Prince Geja combination has a little bit of everything. However, we most liked the seafood which includes lobster and the scallops were to die for! Also the beef also cooks well. Favorite dipping sauce included the pimento mayo, chimichurri, and garlic butter. The cheese fondue is quite rich and the bread is quite filling so maybe get as much cheese as you can on each piece of bread. The chocolate fondue, I think is actually the best course as the Belgium chocolate melts so well and has a decadent but not overly sweet flavor. It pairs well with all that is provided for dipping, which includes poundcake, rice Krispies, strawberries. They also have some liquor that they light on fire at first so you can roast the marshmallows. It is such a well thought out experience. Service flows very well from two waiters who take your order set up your fondue pots for each course, but be prepared to spend at least 2 hours on this experience. Check out the Groupon but also I read a review that they just tack on the extra $50 so it's not really too much of a savings. Not sure if this is true.

To be honest we should've went elsewhere, the only thing about the food that actually seemed to have any flavor was the fries and even they were a little salty like my wallet when we left LOL The Jumbo (not so much) Lump Crab Benedict at $25 was honestly boring lacking any flavor also it didn't even come with potatoes I ended up sharing my Lincoln Park Turkey Club that was good but even it was pretty basic at $21, the Burger at $21 literally looked like something off the kids menu the bun was bigger than the patty LOL and the Blackened Chicken Caesar at $19 was more like an appetizer size and the chicken at least it was juicy not dry. Other reviews about brunch here seem to be about the same and honestly I think it's funny they don't even try to elevate their food when so many say about the same things. I think the only reason why people come to this place is 1. It's located in Lincoln Park and 2. that makes it a trendy spot to eat. So why bother fixing anything when it's just trendy and flavorless Their brunch is mediocre but apparently dinner is where it's at. However after the experience with brunch I'm not even sure I would even go back. Come here for the staff eat at your own expense maybe your food will have flavor or not but honestly do what you want and keep it trendy

The beef was the most disappointing part, I couldn't even chew through all of it. The add-ons were the best part - pasta was great and our dessert was delicious. But the rest of the meal was unfortunately mediocre. Hoping that others have a different experience with the regular menu!

This review is for Restaurant Week!…read more I really like Esmes vibe overall. It's chic and minimalist. I love that the tables are widely spaced out so you don't feel like you're on top of another party. I loved the bowls everything was served in, and the silverware was unique. And the service was great. I appreciate when they left everyone finish before they clear the table. While I thought all the food was good, I think it overwhelming fell flat flavor wise. I don't think anything blew me away like I was expecting which was disappointing. We had the caviar supplement, which they accidentally gave us two of (amazing), which was good but also didn't blow me away. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavors of the soup but that's probably a personal problem. The sturgeon and wagyu were alright. I wish I left being amazed but I left thinking I wouldn't come back, not even for RW again. I think my favorite bite of the night was the sticky date cake. I think it was the most flavorful but it wasn't the best dessert I've ever had. It lacked SOMETHING but I couldn't tell you what.

Fried chicken was crunchy and good. A touch sweet for my liking but very good. Truffle fries were a big hit. Also had warm crab dip wish had quite a few shells/cartilage but flavor was good. The drinks were all very good too. Music was nice. You good hear it a vibe to it but it was too loud. We didn't have to yell or talk loudly. We were were celebrating all 4 of our upcoming June/July birthdays and she treats us like rock stars. Great job Genesis

I'm not quite sure why this place has pretty good reviews. Overall, it's pretty average. We came…read morefor happy hour and sat outside. While the table was on the sidewalk it was slightly set off and not on a busy street, so that was nice. While I only went inside to use the restroom, the vibes are interesting... I had their aperol spritz and it was okay. It was strong which was good. Then a pornstar martini. I thought the pornstar martini was really good and the best item of the evening. We shared oysters, the crab dip, and tuna tartare. The oysters were alright. The crab dip was funky. It was a bit fishy and maybe too heavy on the dill? I'm not sure but something was a bit off. The tuna tartare tasted fresh and was a good combination of flavors. It would be the only food item I'd reorder from the happy hour menu.
