We used to love this place. Their fish tacos were amazing. Not anymore. The last two times, the tortillas were stale and wet due to being 95% cabbage, tomato and cilantro. My wife had to devour the taco or it would just fall apart. Her three rolled tacos with beef and guacamole were another disappointment. The tacos didn't have much meat and were cold. The guacamole was whipped...too smooth to be called guacamole. I ordered Seahawks Breakfast Burrito and a Cheese and Pepper Tamale. The tortilla and bacon in the burrito were too chewy. The Tamale was crushed and stuck to the wrapper. I didn't enjoy the food at all either. We ordered two Caramel Churros and both was not Caramel; it had cinnamon sugar on it. And they were UNDERCOOKED! It was white and floury in the middle, no crunch, wasn't finished! We had to throw it away! We ordered 5 items and ALL was messed up in a way. Never again. This used to be my Mexican spot after finding it close to food back home. When it first opened it tasted fresh, great and the service was amazing. Sadly, after a few unsavory experiences that I thought were a fluke because they had been so good, tonight we be my last night going back ever. It started with the line, 10 minutes to wait to order. The gentleman taking the order got it wrong despite me repeating it several times. As I was ordering I witnessed him taking orders and giving out change to patrons inside and as I got to the window he was then touching food and finishing orders. I asked the girl who verified my order if he washed his hands after touching money and now finishing peoples food. She just smiled and gave no response. If he's taking orders and giving out change he should not be touching food in anyway unless he washed his hands. Next, I had to wait least 15 minutes for the order to be corrected and finished. Once I arrived home I was met with tacos that had almost no filling and even just straight empty shells. If I had known it was going to turn out this way, I would have never gotten the food. $50 seems wasted now. Once a loyal customer and now I can't go back. Too expensive, not clean, service is horrible and the food wasn't worth it. read more

The key here for me are the location is close to my Daughter and Son in laws new house in spanaway, they have a drive thru! and the food was really good at a decent price! The fact that you get fast food convenient service with a drive through but real good authentic food, not a gut bomb makes this place stand out. My 15 yr old is a picky eater, she got exactly what she wanted in a useful separate container, not styrofoam box, you can see your food choices, they provides homemade salsas for us and we felt great afterwards because of the higher quality food. When this place first opened up it was absolutely amazing!! As the years went on, it started to go down hill...here are my reasons. 1. The drink sizes. I used to buy a 32oz horchata for normal price. When I went tonight, they gave us a 24 oz cup. We asked if we ordered the large and they said yes. They don't do the big size anymore. We asked was it the same price and the guy said yes. So...shouldn't they adjust the price? 2. ONIONS! ONIONS! ONIONS!! I'm Mexican, I know the food is supposed to have onions, but the grossly abundance of onions is overwhelming. Is it to mask the food? Idk, but I can honestly say I pulled almost half an onion off my burrito. The tacos in the taco box were the same. Too too much. 3. Some acquaintances of ours recommended coming here for their tacos amongst other things so one weekend Steven and I decided to go give it a try. I went with the tacos not only because they were the things that were praised but I have a soft spot for them. In our recommendation it was emphasized to try the fish tacos so I went with two of those in addition to two beef tacos. The fish tacos definitely lived up to the praise. The fish was lightly battered and the ingredients that went with the rest of the taco just made it great. The beef tacos weren't lacking in anything either and I enjoyed those a lot as well but I definitely have to add to our given recommendation to try those fish tacos! Came here for Taco Tuesday yesterday and its a drive through only location. I decided to try the taco box which they have 4 preselected choices of meats, it comes with beans and rice with cheese and a tray of chips with salsa. I asked for red and green sauce to come with it too. It comes in a large pizza sized box with everything in it. Very heafty by weight. I also asked what the employee liked from their menu and ordered carne asada fries as well. Very yummy, but wished there was more flavor in the rice an beans too. I just ordered the assortment 4 different meats they were pretty damn good especially fo 3 hungry bikers. Taco sauces were good. Chips and salsa yup yup. We ordered two crunchy tacos that unfortunately were soggy. The chicken fajitas weren't that great either, chicken was a bit dry. However the rice was good. What I was really disappointed also about was the carne asada plate. I've had carne asada (Mexican food) all my life and never had I received a plate like this. Yes this meat was beef but not cooked the way carne asada usually and should be. The meat and beans didn't have any flavor at all. The rice was okay and the guacamole was good. There's no chance I'll be ordering here again. There are many Mexican food places that are very authentic that I rather driver further for. read more
