I heard about both of them from my current hair stylist who said Roxan is the best for updo and anyone she hires for makeup is great. She did not lie. I paid my deposits for both of them and showed up at 11am sharp for my appt. I got my hair washed and i was out in the dryer with rollers while i waited for roxan. When my hair was dried, i got my makeup done and Roxan styled another client. After my makeup was done she styled my hair. She was honest about what would work and not work for my hair as my hair is very long but fine. And she added hair and things to make it look fuller. I left feeling beautiful and my son even called me a princess! It's now Sunday night and my hair is still intact, i don't want to undo it because i love it and have been sleeping with a bonnet and it looks exactly the same ! The makeup didn't budge at all until i washed it off. I will def be back for all future events. I loved the work and how convenient it was to get my hair and makeup done at the same location!

I've gone to the same Dominican shop for forever and my curls always come back; If it was heat damaged there would still be some type of texture in it but there's not! At this spot my hair was almost straight after washing and when I dyed my hair 2 weeks later so much came out. They get my hair uber straight (even the lil sideburn hairs). For me the price has consistently been the same every visit, 45.00 because I always get a deep conditioner. It does cost more than any other salon I've been to but this salon also produces the best final result. They have always been friendly to me and ask me do I prefer 2 or 3 washes. It is now a week past my last visit to the shop and my hair is still fabulous. My only gripe is that this place is in Harlem and I cant find anywhere closer to my NJ residence or BK job :-(

They took their time and made sure he left looking good. I called in that same day to schedule a manicure/pedicure for myself and pedicure for him. Yanet was great, she didn't speak English but she was able to show me pictures and do a great job. If you don't speak Spanish I'd recommend coming in with pictures of what you want. The full acrylic set was only $60! And my pedicure was $25. My boyfriend's pedicure was $30 and he also liked the service. I will definitely be coming back here!

She stumbled across this gem by accident. When she came home with a stellar, movie star blowout, she grabbed my hands, looked intensely into my eyes, and said, "Mija, this is the place you should go to from now on." Ha! To please her, as all dutiful daughter-in-laws try to do, I went. And I am forever grateful that I did, because after coming here now for the past two months, my hair had never looked better! ALL the ladies are extremely talented. They all do my hair a little bit differently (in a good way) though I'm sure if I specified exactly what I want (which I never really do) they'd do it perfectly. She doesn't BLAST Spanish music like many other Dominican salons I've been to but she plays something every now and then at a decent volume.
