Despite the great job done by the nail tech Chelsea, my overall experience at the salon was not satisfactory. The women doing the pedicures were not as skilled or gentle as Chelsea, causing me immense pain and discomfort during the process. This not only ruined my experience at the salon, but also caused my toes to ache for days and my big toe continued to have pain for weeks. Even my friend who had a different lady do her feet had the same experience. As much as I wanted to give the salon a 5-star rating, I cannot overlook the pain and discomfort caused by the pedicure. If I could rate zero stars I would. Do not spend your money here. Every positive review here fails to mention that you will spend 5+ hours waiting for service and you will be treated like a peasant. They are rude and constantly gossiping about each other and customers. Majority of the employees are always drinking alcohol while working. This is an establishment full of women who are not certified in anything they are doing and do not care about the work they are doing. I went in for a simple color change on my toes. The very rude woman decided to cut my skin off and now I have an INFECTION!!!!! When I asked her why she cleaned my toe nails when all I wanted was a color change, she put her hands in my face and got defensive. The audacity lol, a professional with class would have apologized. On a separate occasion, I went in to get my hair done. They single handedly damaged all of my curls. They burned my hair and ruined it. I wanted to like this place based on the mostly good reviews but I didn't. Me and a friend came here on a Sunday around 2 PM and it was packed but we got our pedicures fairly quickly. The salon was full of people and it was hard to move around. The pedicure chairs were dingy and dirty and they didn't clean the pedicure bowl before it was my turn, which meant all the germs from whoever went before me were still in the bowl. Gross. My nail technician wasn't friendly at all. She turned my water on and left me to soak my feet while she sat with friends on the other side of the salon, facetiming people and talking on the phone. After 10 mins or so she came back over and started giving me a pedicure. She was really thorough in clipping my cuticles, but barely scrubbed/scuffed my feet. She didnt even give any type of massage. It was literally minimal scrubbing, clipping and a paint job. I could've done that myself. When I get a pedicure, I like to feel relaxed. This place was anything but that - loud music and loud employees. At one point, someone came in with tubs of Spanish food and all the nail techs stopped to get a plate of food. My nail tech was eating while she was doing my feet - umm gross. I'm all for fun and liveliness but this was unprofessional to me, on top of the crappy pedicure I got. When the pedicure was done, my nail tech motioned for me to move out of the way for the next client. No thank you no nothing. I tipped her more than I should've. Will not return to this place probably ever. read more

Their Instagram page showcases BEAUTIFUL WORK BUT false advertisement is real. I felt that because I was not hispanic (Dominican) and could not speak Spanish well, I received poor service STAY AWAY. If you do not speak Spanish, stay away. Stay away even if you do speak Spanish, unprofessional. The service: I asked for stiletto shaped nails and received coffin shape. The nail tech (Grey) rushed through the job and I had to immediately remove them after because of the tightness I was feeling from the improperly placed acrylic. The Nail technician was too aggressive when handling my nail that she popped my tip off twice and had to re-glue and she eventually ended up cutting me. We all know that the chemicals we are exposed to while getting this service done, that when one has a cut it will cause major discomfort. If you are not getting gel, rest assure that your nail polish will get messed up because they do not have a station to dry your nails. Beware because they charge by the length and the shape of the nail. If you want long extensions, be ready to pay up to $50-60 (without nail design or gel). The place: The nail salon is not just a nail salon. They do hair, and makeup as well. The place is too small to house such activities. It doesn't seem like it is up to fire standards because there is no space to move around. Unprofessional and unsanitary. During peak hours, when busy, the place gets more crowded, contributing to the space issue. Salon is Always packed. I walk pass it on my way home everyday and it is never not empty. Ive only gotten a Pedicure here but it was pretty darn good. Atmosphere is nice (peducure area). Only problem is that I only speak english, they are all spanish speaking. So I'd probably get use more of their services if this wasnt a barrier for me. I heard they do eyelashes, and full hair services too. Update... I now go for my nails. These ladies can do designs like no other. Pure dopeness. I love them. Still little english, but idc. Used to go when I was back in the BX to this place and NEVER do me wrong. I'm pretty picky with mani-pedi and this girls always got my service right. Cons: 1. They don't take credit or debit card. 2. The girls are pretty loud along with the music (me being Dominican I know we loud, but I wish they could turn down a little bit). 3. I've been coming here for years for my hair and pedicure...the place is super loud. Employees talked really loudly and music is always blasting but I don't mind. Also, it's usually always packed and the reason why I'm giving them 4 stars is because they claim to open at 9 but own time I got there at 9:15 and employees were cleaning and mopping the salon while five ladies waited for the hair to be washed. Considering they open at 9 I feel they should have the salon cleaned before they open their doors to clients. Anyways, I recommend Giselle for hair. She always does an excellent job on mine. Though I've gotten many pedicures here I don't have a favorite. I usually let anyone do it especially since it's always a long wait for pedicures especially during the summer months. read more

I went there looking for some nails. It was a good start. Workers were nice. Once I sat down, She was being aggressive. She talked to her friends and was on her phone most of the time. Barely paying attention to what she was doing. My nails are SLANTED. Very expensive for short tips. Her work was very sloppy. Never again. I definitely do NOT recommend. It was extremely loud. Her drill was on and off it seemed very old. She did not clean up around the edges of my cuticles very good. Great work! I was seated right away and my nails are beautiful! I got a full set with gel and embellishments on 2 fingers and my toes polished. I was in there for about 3 hours which blew me but my nail tech was very detailed and precise with her work. She didn't speak English so I had to communicate with the tech next to her but I was able to get my point across with no problem. I did want to have a sugar nail and they did't have the color I wanted but overall still a great place. It was also beautifully decorated and clean. I would of loved the place had it been cleaned up. There was stuff everywhere sadly. The woman who did my nails cut every other finger of mine. Some of the staff speaks English. And I only speak a little Spanish. But nonetheless didn't stop my technication from trying to insult me in Spanish a few times. It's sad cause I wanted to support my fellow Dominicans and Puerto Rican's but they lived up to every single stereotype there is about us. The owner needs to really train the staff or stop hiring friends. I would of gave 1 star but the young lady who did my pedicure was sweet and did an awesome job. Found this salon after putting in the address to my work location and tying to find a nearby salon that was decent. Walked a few blocks and they were PACKED! A young lady asked me what I needed, I told her a manicure, she suggested gel (I previously had shellac), and as soon as the nail technician was done with her present customer (5-10 min) I was in the seat. They do get loud, (they were singing, the music was pumping, and they were all happy) Will I go back in two weeks? Yes. My nails came out fabulous! And I was taken cared of in less than 5 minutes of arriving. I took 2 stars away because the space is extremely tight and you have to squeeze by people to go to the bathroom that's all the way in the back in a corner, passed people getting their hair washed.. this doesn't only make it uncomfortable for you but also for the person getting their hair washed. There also wasn't any garbage cans in the front of the store.. the one that was there was over flowing with all types of trash. I took away another star because the lady doing my nails had a really nasty attitude.. for this I may or may not return. I was told Matte nail polish was an extra $5 and i agreed to it but at the end I liked the natural shine of my gel polish so told her I didn't want it anymore but I was still charged for it! $65 in total for my nails and even though the lady was a b-tch she still did my nails nice so I tipped her $10. read more
