Honest and affordable! To my surprise Hugo came to my house the same day I called. What a relief after being told 8-10 weeks for an appointment at other companies. Even a family friend's lawn care business is too busy right now to help me out. I found Aces Lawn Care on the internet and gave them a call. I am so very glad I did. I could not figure out why my sprinklers were not turning on, even after watching hours of youtube videos. I called and Hugo was able to see me that afternoon. Hugo came and assessed things quickly and turned on the main water valve. The main pump to the sprinkler system had a leak, and the plastic PVC pipe came apart when the water turned on. Hugo fixed the pipe, however the backflow preventer had a seal leak at the rubber seal because it was so old. He replaced the parts, sealed it to prevent leaks, and put everything back together quickly. Then my outlet to the sprinkling system was out, so he found the problem and got the sprinklers going. He did a thorough inspection of my front and back yard as well as the drainage system to all the foliage. This proved to me that he cared about a complete job well done. Hugo was friendly and gave great expert advise. He did a great job for my property. The sound of sprinklers never sounded so good! Aces Lawn Care is the way to go. I will be a repeat customer!!! I am leaving a one-star review based on my experience. While I do appreciate that he responded promptly and provided a free estimate, the overall service was extremely disappointing. We had a broken pipe connected to our main watering box, and he quoted $1,800 to repair it and inspect the rest of the system. After payment, he completed the pipe repair, but he did not follow through on checking anything else as originally discussed. Instead, he attempted to charge additional fees just to assess or address other areas of the system. For a job that took roughly two hours and involved repairing a single pipe, the cost felt excessive. Upon reviewing the breakdown, it appears that approximately $1,400 was charged for labor alone, which is far beyond what I would consider reasonable for the scope of work performed. He also left a dirt mess on my patio and did not clean it up before he left. I had to break out the pressure washer just to get the mud off. Overall, this felt significantly overpriced and lacking in transparency. I cannot recommend this service based on my experience. read more

We called 5 sprinkler repair companies and left messages about the problem we were having with our sprinklers. Only two returned our call. The first person was so busy he could not schedule us until late May. Hugo returned our call later that day and said he could stop by the next day. We have problems with tree roots from a large maple and thought it would be a huge issue to get it running again. We were so impressed with Hugo's knowledge and work ethic. He was able to fix the issue in a couple of hours. He said he would provide an estimate of how to update our older system to be more effective in coverage and water pressure. We will definitely contact Hugo for all our future landscaping and irrigation needs. read more

One week ago we discovered we had a leak under our paver driveway! It was a broken pipe that led to our main water main. We contacted plumbers and irrigation companies and all said they could not work on the problem until the leak was detected, the pavers were removed etc etc. Hugo, at Aces Lawn, came out within an hour, detected the problem and could fix the entire problem. Within one day we had our leak fixed, the water back and our paver driveway back to normal. They responded to my Yelp inquiry within 5 minutes, took my call shortly thereafter, and originally booked me for the next day. We requested a quote from them to fix our fence and as soon as Hugo saw me he told us that he did not like doing business with Hispanics. Very unprofessional, RACIST, and rude! Hugo sent Nito with another worker over to winterize my sprinkler system when another lawn service couldn't do the job. This is the second time Aces Lawn Care has "saved my bacon." The first time, Hugo came to repair a broken irrigation line. (I'm not crazy about sprinkler systems.) Both times he charged a fair price for the work. read more

We had a pesky drip irrigation system issue that was using thousands of extra gallons of water. Hugo responded immediately on a Monday morning.
