This place is super cute with very intentional and stylish decor. It just feels good inside. The best table is on the back patio but we were only a group of 3 so we're not allowed to sit there. We sat at one of the tables outside on the road which I would not necessarily recommend because of the constant parade of cars and noise. Our server was super nice and friendly. And patient. I got the gin 'n juice cocktail which was beautiful and Instagram worthy. My dad did not like his wine but had another cocktail that was quite good. For food we ordered the chicken satay, soup (forget what it was called), green curry and pad Thai. All were flavorful and delicious. I especially liked the pad Thai. One of my favorite meals while in Sayulita!!

This was by far the best non taco spot I ate at in Sayulita, I sent several friends there who also agreed. They also made the best cocktail of my entire trip, if you like mezcal try the No. 33 creamy with pineapple & basil. I got the papaya salad, spring rolls & chicken satay which came with the most delicious peanut sauce I've had I think it's mixed with a yellow curry but had amazing flavor wanted to douse everything with it. Next time I tried my friends pumpkin fried rice also recommended. It does get busy in the evenings so you may want to make reservations. My sever was a pink haired guy who was attentive & amazing....This place is a must try!

The drinks and food here are amazing!! Would not expect such great Thai Food in Sayulita but it did not disappoint. The Green Curry was delicious as well as the Pad Thai and spring rolls.

Highly recommend if you're looking for good Thai in the area! We went here per online reviews an it did not disappoint. They're open for diner only and we're a larger group so we made reservations. They had a semi private table for us in the back with a super cute setting. As seen in the picture of my sister. The food was delicious, we ordered a tofu red curry (vegan) & red curry with chicken as well as an order of pad Thai which was GF and an appetizer of satay chicken. All of it tasted very authentic. The waiters were prompt and very kind. My sister ordered the white sangria which she liked, came with cut up fresh fruit & passion fruit as well as a metal straw. My parents got 2 Thai teas they really liked. All in all highly recommend!

Montezuma had me in a death grip... the last three days I was struggling, yearning for a solid BM. We went to Achara hoping this would serve as a KO to the Big M. We grabbed the half circle table in the back of the place and ordered the pad Thai- can't go wrong. Absolute death blow to Montezuma. Cured me straight up in that restaurant and never felt better. I would totally go back.

You can smell the authentic spices in the air when you walk in. Very flavorful dishes and drinks. We sat at the bar, you tell they put a lot of care into making the drinks. Service was amazing. No one was just standing around, plates were collected as you finished, but didn't feel rushed to get out. Pleasantly surprised. Must try!

This was such a nice surprise in Sayulita! We got the wings, spring rolls, pad Thai and green curry with chicken, all were wonderful. I only with the pad Thai and curry were a bit spicier. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting.

Our family of 4 had amazing food!!! And the employees were very pleasant. They spoke great English and Spanish, just in case you are working on your Spanish. We had 2 orders of fried rolls, 2 mango fresh rolls, tofu stir fry (omg so good), pad Thai (they were very flexible with swapping the meat out for tofu), chicken satay, and another pork dish. Absolutely delicious!!!!

Was given the recommendation to go here from a few people while I was in town. I was surprised to see no reviews yet as this was quite possibly our best meal yet in Sayulita. We got the spring rolls, Pad Thai (staff style) and chicken panang curry and everything was exceptional. Both the spring rolls and curry were executed as well as any I've had at the best Thai restaurants I've been to. But the pad Thai was potentially the best I've had. While it's odd to recommend Thai over Mexican in Mexico, if you could only choose one place to go while in Sayulita you cannot go wrong with Achara.

    Green Curry with white rice

Wow! Absolutely impeccable food, service, and atmosphere. I promise I'm not being dramatic, but the green curry was possibly one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten. I live in California and genuinely want to go back to sayulita just for their food! ACHARA is a MUST if you visit the area

Plenty of fresh and crunchy veggies, though light on the chicken, which was in big cubes, not small chunks. Coconut rice was bland with no discernible coconut flavor. Thai food in Mexico, don't mind if we do!…read more Siam Cocina Thai was our first sit down meal on a Friday night. We were greeted as soon as we stepped in and guided to a table of our choice. The ambiance was perfect for dinner. Great lighting, awesome spaced out layout and still very intimate. I noted a lot of their vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free options on the menu as well as all the beverage options. We shared a bottle of mineral water and enjoyed a classic mojito (para mi) and cerveza (for him). I definitely eyed over their curry, noodles, plates, stir frys, soups, salads and appetizers but ultimately settled on some impressionable Yellow Curry w/ Tofu and a side of rice. It was so unique in flavor compared to curry back in California or even other countries I've visited... Definitely a bit of PV flare! Our server was very attentive, especially during the first half of our Siam experience. All the staff was kind, friendly and personable. Quality service + quality eats = can't beat! The decor is a blend of many inflections of Thai culture with trace amounts of Puerto Vallarta, especially in the floor patterns, tables and color palette. Restrooms are clean, easy to use and just based the bar/main register area toward the back center of Cocina Thai. We didn't have any sort of wait as it was the weekend before Beef Dip and not on a holiday. They do take reservations on their website online as well as via telephone. SCT gets busy for event weeks/weekends and major dine out holidays like Valentines, but generally is pretty easy to get seated and enjoy.

I ordered off of the restaurant week menu while my SO opted to order off of the regular one. He started with the calamari, which was quite good. Nice and light breading and not overcooked. We sampled the papaya salad (one of the best I've ever tasted), coconut fried rice with yellow curry, drunken noodles with shrimp and mango sticky rice. This was my first time trying mango sticky rice and I'm glad I did it here because Mexico has such excellent mangos. It was fantastic and is now a new favorite. The curry rice was also delicious but for me, was a lot of food, which is not a bad thing. A great value actually since I got three meals out of it! They also serve margaritas by the pitcher, which is literally illegal in the ridiculous state we are from so we were very excited at this option. The full pitcher was a bit much for 2 but my friends, not to worry! They do a half pitcher!!! Our server was so nice and did a great job. Food came out very quickly as well. We had a great time at Archie's Wok and it has been added to our list of musts when in PV.

I ordered take out since the wife wanted to stay in. Pork egg rolls, Mongolian curry beef, almond chicken and fried rice. I had a lemonade while I was waiting. Everything was packaged well (lids taped on, sauce servings with lids, wrapped in cling film. The food was tasty. While I was not much more than 5 minutes back to the hotel, the egg rolls were soggy. The sweet and sour sauce for them was very good, great flavor and not overly thick. I asked for the curry to be hot, but not too hot, it was pretty mild. Definitely worth giving it a shot when you're looking to switch things up. Like most of PV, it was good and it was spendy (about 1,400 MXD for 2 mains, combination fried rice and 3 pork egg rolls + 1 lemonade).

Jamie went for the MX$165 Popeye Eggs, a pair of scrambled eggs laid on a bed of fresh spinach leaves, ladled with ranchero sauce, and presented with avocado, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and crispy bacon strips (Photo 10). The freshness of the ingredients really enhanced the flavors of the dish.
