The museum is filled with volunteers and employees who are there to tell you about all of the wonderful history and exhibits. The docents seem very knowledgeable and you get to tour a plane as well as see a lot of other cool planes. There are a few things that are very important to note. First, make sure you are prepared to spend a half a day. After 2 1/2 hours we were not yet done with the tour but we were so starving hungry we had to leave. The docent was very chatty, and while that would be fun if you're prepared for a half a day, we thought the tour would be about an hour long, not 2 1/2-3 hours. Second, you must call 24 in hours in advance in order to go visit the museum. Third, you cannot use your GPS to get to this location. Your GPS will take you down Peterson, and you must enter through the west entrance which is off of Powers and Airport.

The shrine itself is beautiful (made from one boulder), and the view is probably the best in the area. On a clear day you can see 130 miles eastward. If you like old movies you will recognize the pictures of Mr Rogers with some movie stars (Shirley Temple for one). There's a wonderful display of pictures and murals in the shrine. This place will be one of our destinations of choice to take out of town friends. Enjoy!

I was afraid I had waited too late and might not get a satisfactory arrangement due to lack of flower choices. Christian asked me what colors my mom and man did he deliver! I have been sending my mom flowers for decades but was never happy with what she received. I must tell you that I was impressed beyond words. The arrangement they delivered was absolutely full and breath taking. My mother was over joyed and said it looked like a $200 arrangement but in reality, is was far less than that. It's usually the other way around. She said it had 18 different flowers and one that hadn't bloomed yet. I've been getting ripped off for years because I live far away but she sent me pictures and they were so stunning that I got a bit emotional. I called and thanked Christian for going far above and beyond. I highly recommend this company and will use them from now on!! You won't be disappointed!! I just wish we had one here in Alaska.
