Refused to pay for the front bumper replacement on the Ford Transit work van that Steve drives, along with repairing the burnt wire harness for the brakes on the "Mongoose" hydrojetter (5000lb) trailer, such damaged harness caused the electric trailer brakes to not engage which resulted in 2 different accidents , excessive brake wear on multiple vehicles. Work was preformed at Autobody Unlimited, per the request of the President Jordan Haven. I am personally out of pocket $500 for the front bumper. total cost $1500 for both repairs. Confusing set of circumstances. They came out to inspect my septic tank due to backing up on occasion. Did their underground cameras, told me I needed to be pumped. $1300 inspection, $3800 pump with a third-party vendor about whom they knew little. Hard time getting estimates in writing. After spending $5100 was told my tanks were cracked, my leach field was failing, they recommended a brand new system A-Z for $28,000 and I would be credited some of the $5100 toward the new system, but my total costs were going to be over $30,000. That was late December 2024. I asked them to send me a detailed proposal and that I would entertain other bids as well, but they would have had an inside track because they would have credited me some of the earlier work. Except I never heard from them again. I contacted them twice in January and never heard back. Never saw a proposal. Were they spooked that I would take other bids and find out how outrageous their pricing was? Did it concern them that I was left with a broken system and it possibly could have been ugly? Did they just take the money and run? I have no idea, but something seems off. read more

BEWARE OF being Robbed by Acknowledged Plumbing We had a leak in our plumbing. We called Acknowledge Plumbing. Plumber arrived one hour later driving a van simply carrying a tool bag. After the plumber assessed the problem as "a leak of some kind" behind the wall an estimate of $3200.00 was given. The estimate was based on ??? Company policy perhaps? Simply an indication that the plumber "didn't know the exact extent" of the damage. Within the parameters of (parts/time/ cost etc. unknown) an estimate was being given. The repair lasted 4 1/2 hours total: including time spent retrieving parts needed to and from Auburn 28 miles away at Home Depot. Returning with parts needed, PVC, elbow fitting, and a coupling the plumber removed the sheetrock, insulation and sink then repaired a crack in the brass elbow fitting. Our out of pocket cost is the $3200.00. for a 4 1/2 hour job which equals approximately $700.00. Do a mental break down for the cost of supplies, plus gas, plus labor. It just doesn't add up to the price we were charged. This review is written as a humble and honest review out of courtesy to all potential customers who are in need of assistance in their hour of plumbing needs!! While we do not have anything but respect and appreciation for the plumber who answered the call and arrived to fix the leak. The company itself will do us all a huge favor and service to change their name accurately depict who they truly are from Acknowledge to HACKNOWLEGE/LAC-KNOWLEDGE Plumbing!! 5.0 Connie M. Citrus Heights, CA 3/1/2023 Install or Repair a Toilet I needed a plumber to install a Toto toilet G-Max refill valve on my 20 year old toilet. I cold called Acknowledge Plumbing. They were very polite and knowledgeable on the phone. I asked them to find a Toto refill for my specific toilet. I had hired other plumbers before and I truly don't know if I ever had a plumber actually install a G-Max, despite what they said. However, Acknowledge found a G-Maxx (out of the local market) which they ordered. Gage came and and installed the refill valve. Gage was very personable, knew exactly what he was doing and was very neat. I can tell it's a G-Max because of the power and sound. I'm very happy. Acknowledge Plumbing is my new plumbing company! Jordan fixed this irrigation MESS once...it was a tree root that broke a pipe. We depend on water a LOT for our ranchette!!! Anyway, Jordan came back (starting leaking again due to root) and figured out what was going on and rerouting a pipe fixed it. Then, he did it with NO CHARGE!!! Acknowledge plumbing was assigned by our home warranty company for a second opinion for our on demand water heater needing replacement. CHOICE Home Warranty has been awful to work with and we had already been without hot water since 1/17/23. Cindy with Acknowledge jumped through hoops with me in working with CHOICE, spending HOURS on the phone to provide them with what they asked for after they sent their plumber out to test, assess, and take pictures of our system only to hit road blocks and lies on CHOICE Home Warranties end on why they have reassigned my claim again to yet a 4th plumbing company....still without hot water In February, going on 30 days now. Even though Cindy and acknowledge were not assigned the claim, this company went above and beyond in helping us to try and resolve this issue. Their plumber that came out was professional and a pleasure to meet. He automatically took his shoes off at the front door without us even asking, which was not necessary at all but super respectful. Extremely responsive and arrived about 30 minutes after I called. I had a sprinkler system failure and needed a dielectric union installed (fixing the poor job a previous plumber had done).
