Technician snaked 5' past p-trap. Technician was here for about an hour from time of arrival to departure. Service was $580 which seems pricey to me. Was not able to obtain a ballpark estimate over the phone when scheduling. Edited to add - customer service followed up with me via phone call a couple hours after service and yelp review and explained that the wrong selection was coded and I was refunded $185, for a total cost of $395 for the drain unclog. Called to have tankless water heater checked out due to no hot water. Israel came out on schedule on time and examined the unit finding nothing was wrong. After plugging in the unit, it restarted and was fine. I paid him his service fee of $99 for his time. The good news was he told the truth and did not try to fix something that didn't need fixing. I received the quote shortly after the inspection, but the diagnostic report took longer than expected to come through. I followed up a few times over the next couple of days, and while I was told it would be provided, there were some delays in getting it to me. Since the issue was ongoing, timing was important on my end. Turns out that we had old drainage pipes from the kitchen sink that had eroded and was spilling water directly under the house! Within just a few hours we were presented with multiple options and each was explained. In addition, abatement work was needed to clean the water from under the house. Once the decision was made for a repair, work started the next day, and within a week the water under the house was clean, smell gone and new piping throughout! Israel was terrific to work with! He actually answers his phone, is responsive, professional, and came on short notice for a leaking water supply line to my refrigerator on a Friday evening. He immediate identified the issue, turned off the supply to the refrigerator, came back the next day and replaced the entire supply line with copper and installed a shutoff valve, bringing all of it up to code. He communicated with me throughout the process and I must say Israel is a life saver! The 3rd party vendor that HomeD**** used to install my new refrigerator never should have left the supply connection with a slight leak.
