Twice in a month bought meat that was either out of date and or spoiled. If a consumer doesn't keep the receipt (eventhough it is their store brand SIGNATURE) YOU WILL BE GIVEN A HARD TIME FOR A REFUND. if you get a replacement package (as I did)! ,it too may be out of date or going bad as my package was.... If you want a refund and the refund would be more than $5....REALLY.....YES REALLY...YOUHAVETO SHOW YOUR IDENTIFICATION, YES. REALLY Shop elsewhere...less aggravation. The districtmanager needs to be aware that meat and produce is not being kept fresh and infact is left for the consumer to buy.? read more

Doesn't allow teens in store. Love this store, but they kick teens out for no reason even if they are minding their own business.

Has become an Unclean and overpriced dump. Also, what's with all the trash in the parking lot and around the entrance? No one that works here seems to care about picking up the trash! The coupons don't work, the ones from the app. They never work! then an employee will tell you you have to wait 48 hours to use them. Don't go. You'll regret it. read more

Perfectly cromulent Acme market. I've been here a few times when shopping nearby and it's been fairly quick to get what I need, despite the byzantine layout. Some aisles are half and others are full. read more

This Acme is conveniently located on Baltimore Pike next to Home Depot and Modells. Plenty of parking at this location. Never have an issue getting a cart at the front of the store. The staff is nice and helpful. The store is nicely laid out. They have a really nice meat department with great package sales. The prices on shelf stable items are a bit high compared to what I pay in other places so unfortunately I don't do all my shopping here. I will definitely be back. read more

This acme is a good supermarket to go to for most of the things you need. The prices are pretty high compared to other markets in the area. The customer service is good. The market floors sometimes look really dirty. The hours are okay I wish they stayed opened a little later than 10pm. read more

Don't know when they locked the doors, but I stopped on my way home to grab some salad, and the doors were locked at 9:50. That's 10 minutes before closing. Would have been in and out in 3 minutes. Close at 10, means close at 10, not 9:45 read more

Don't love this Acme. Before Covid it was already a little run down & mildly dirty. I only use it now for small shopping deliveries. Their website is good at letting you know something is out of stock and they usually have whatever shows as in stock. But dont order bakery. Its never fresh. Plus i called to have a delivery time moved to later in the day bc my daughter had a dr appt i didnt know about T the same time 11-12, an i am mildly disabled. The person said he'd look into it & call me back, but didnt. The order came at 11:05 am & i had to bring it inside with no help. And im also mad the doughnuts taste like they were made yesterday. Picked up an order to be delivered via doordash and it was horrible. Got to my car and when I was placing the items in my car I realized that over HALF of the items weren't placed in bags they were just thrown in the bottom AND the ladies bread was squished. I shouldn't have to do my job and theirs. It should be ready for pickup when delivery persons arrive. For some, grocery delivery is the only option they have and to have their items simply thrown in the bottom of a cart without care is unacceptable. I suppose everyone was too busy singing the Eagles song to the "VIP Person" coming in who is a Cowboys fan to care about customer service. Do better ACME. read more

This is a fairly large Acme, well stocked, VERY centrally located steps from the Home Depot in Clifton Heights, near Petco, Bed Bath & Beyond, you name it. In the middle of suburban sterility, sometimes location can be a plus. And more parking than in a small town. The store layout is quite convenient, and it is obvious that the management takes pains to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for the customers. Specially noteworthy is the fresh vegetable section. I do wish they had a better selection of Latino products, of which there seems to be a vacuum in Delaware County. read more

Acme is ok. The sales are decent, but the people suck. I got into an argument with my wife one day and after having to sleep on the couch, I called this ACME to see if they still do double coupons. The lady who answered sounded somewhat annoyed I called to ask and replied with: "It depends on what our computers tell us. Some double some don't. Anything else?" Lets not get started on the one lady who seems to always be at the register. I know being of a higher age and a cashier at a food store probably isn't as ideal as retiring to Boca Raton, Florida, but that doesn't mean you have to have an attitude with every person that comes to your line. She always seems so damn annoyed. I would have fired her. She must be someone's mother. I'd still fire her even if she was mine. After going a few times because their sales worked better with my coupons, I figured out the isle set up. They are horribly labeled. The sign that hangs above the isle in the front of the store tells you what's in the first half of the isle. The sign in the BACK of the store tells you what's in the other half of the isle. Really annoying, pointless and stupid. Anyone who is a 'real shopper' if you will, would also hate how the frozen food is in the middle of the store. It works much better when it's at one end of the store and you can get to it last so it's not thawing and/or melting all over their damn floor. I do love Jim though! He's awesome! He is the blind bag guy they have who refuses to let his lack of eye sight stop him from being a functional person in society. Awesome! read more

My husband and I avoid this store, only using it for last minute items. We much prefer the Giant shortly down Baltimore Pike, or the Giant on Township Line Road. Produce selection is limited and poor. Often our produce is damaged or rotted. Limited organic selection, with limited non-dairy creamer options. They recently removed self check out lanes, so lines are often longer. read more

I used to shop at Acme years ago - and it left a bad taste in my mouth as far as cleanliness, quality of items and price. I almost didn't stop, but it was on my way home and I didn't feel like wasting the gas or time to go out of my way. I took a chance, and this Acme was a pleasant surprise! The cleanliness of the store shows as soon as you walk in! Nothing on the floor, things are arranged beautifully and it is easy to find what you are looking for. I believe you can learn a lot about a store by looking at its produce section - and this one was beautiful! I came with certain ingredients in mind but wound up buying a few extra items because I just couldn't resist! The prices for some items were still a bit higher than I would've liked (I am used to PriceRite prices), but this store definitely had some of the ingredients that I couldn't normally find at my local store. I guess you really can't judge an Acme by it's cover! ;-) read more

Expired food. Some good employees, but most seem to think customers are a terrible inconvenience to be dealt with. I called the manager finally after two years and he listened, apologized, and the next week nothing had changed. When social distancing started, it took them weeks to move all the stuff in the middle of the aisle, including their own restocking carts, so you could move without literally brushing against people. Finally, my wife called to complain about two expired cake mixes we just bought, and the manager scolded us for even calling about it with all he is dealing with. There are too many choices to deal with this nonsense. I LIKE the store in terms of choices and such but the management, and everywhere that management has influence, stinks. read more

Decent market on Baltimore Pike offering the usual items. It's somewhat new and therefore relatively clean. Service was somehow lacking but it was not a busy hour. Found what I needed and was able to check out quickly using the express lane. read more

I shop at this alchemy all the time they have a good pharmacy there, and I have a nice donut section bakery section, and their fruits and vegetables are really nice to my problem is is I think that all I can me markets are too expensive. I usually buy a bag of fresh green beans they're usually about $8 I think they could be a better price at $5 cuz if I go to a regular vegetable store where they sell just fruits and vegetables I can get a better deal for about five bucks. So other than the price I think that there's really a good store now I do have one problem with their meat section I don't know about most of you but I don't like my hamburger to be gray when I buy it I have pointed this out to them over and over again. I mean dark gray and they just leave it out there for somebody to buy.and drives with all alchemy stores I believe their lunch meat is too high I think $8 for a pound of turkey breast is a really good price mostly it's 1099 and 1299 at least when I have gone. The chicken that they pull off of the bird and put into a little container for you is like $8 or higher I think that's ridiculous considering you can buy a whole chicken already cooked for about 8. So I do say that their prices are just too high what the parking lot is usually clean there's plenty of parking and they carry pretty much what most people buy on a daily run to the supermarket. The people are very friendly and I know a lot of people when I go in I can say hi to a lot of people it's almost like those commercials where the lady goes to shop and she saying hello to everybody that works there I've been going there that long. read more

I can't understand why they took out the self serve check outs, now people avoid this store because the wait is too long if you only need a couple of items. Giant and the other Acme's in the area offer this quicker service option. Sad, because this store is in a convenient location. read more

I shop here because it is the only supermarket I can walk to. The pharmacy and staff are terrific. Most store staff are pleasant. BUT you must check expiration dates carefully. I often find expired items-mostly salad dressing and some frozen items. I am not talking about being a day or 2 out of date-I am talking several months out of date. WORST THING-they have posted a sign on all doors that 7am-9am weekdays are reserved for shoppers 60 and over due to COVD19. BUT it is not enforced. When I complained to a manager I was told that if they refuse to let anyone else shop it is discrimination! Seriously-is it discrimination when seniors get a 5% discount on Tuesdays with proof of age? How about on "Game Days" when shoppers who wear team shirts get a discount?(If you don't have a shirt they will sell you one). I complained to corporate but got no answer, of course. If you are going to post those signs enforce the age limit-otherwise don't post them. Prices are kind of high-so I restrict my purchases to what I have coupons for and/or what is on sale. If they didn't have that phony Monopoly game every spring where they claim to give out millions of dollars of prizes maybe they can lower their prices. Whenever I can get a ride elsewhere I take advantage of it. Otherwise, I check expiration dates carefully and buy sale items. read more
