The best contractor experience I've had in a long time. Sean worked on our home on two separate jobs over the span of a few weeks. Throughout the whole process, Sean was available and communicative. From the moment I reached out to Sean he was quick to respond and came out to look at my home very quickly after I initially reached out. The first job Sean & team handled was painting our roof - a less common type of job that several other companies had refused to give quotes on due to lack of expertise. Throughout the whole process of painting our roof, Sean did an amazing job of communicating and walking through each step. Sean went out of his way to double check that the paint we decided on was appropriate, even going so far as to contact the roofer who installed my roof as well as a manufacturer of the roofing material we used, in addition to the paint rep. We are also very happy with the quality of the work itself. Asked for paint stripping on old trim throughout a house we are remodeling and was quoted a price within what we thought it could be done for. Sean and crew came and put on paint stripper on all the trim and then walked off the job. So not stripping the paint is no longer even an option. This has cost us a lot of time and money and hassle. We used ACP to power wash and re-stain our 16 year old wood fence. They helped us select a darker stain that would look good across our entire fence and pergola that had various amounts of deterioration due to years of sun exposure. One run had also been replaced a year earlier. The result is a fence/pergola/railing that looks like it was installed and stained at the same time and pretty darn close to new. Much of the work on the pergola was brushed due to the slats at the top which was time consuming. They also painted our gate hardware which was unexpected and really made a difference. We were very impressed with ACP painting! Mr. Peterson (the owner) guided us through the whole processes and painting day was seamless and easy. We have three small children who were present and the painters were very cognizant of them and worked around whether we were upstairs or downstairs playing. The colors looked beautiful and very professionally done. All paint supplies were washed outside and we didn't have any residue on our driveway or grass from leftover paint. When the painters finished we went through each room to give our approval before the job was finished. Mr. Peterson even asked if he could vacuum the painted rooms to make it look even nicer! Sean Peterson makes big promises and pretends to have ethics and integrity. He talks a good talk and appears to care about his customer and the job at hand. However, he doesn't back up his promises. After a frustrating experience overall, we are left with problems he won't address. He talked us into stripping our deck and restoring it. We now have a deck with problems. Incomplete initial stain removal that Mr. Peterson claimed "added character". Handrails and floor of deck were supposed to be oiled. The floor was not adequately oiled and needs another coat due to spotty dry spots. One handrail was broken when it was reinstalled. It was also stained instead of oiled. The last day of work was rushed and the painters that completed the job did not know what the were doing. We were promised an expert that would be the only person working on the deck. When he did work on the deck, he worked on it 2-4 hours a day. Came late, left early. Some days he didn't show up at all. The final bill was hundreds of dollars more than quoted. The fact that Mr. Peterson wont' respond to our complaints pretty much defines him and his business. read more
