We, (my wife and I) recently decided to remodel our kitchen and chose PWP to do the work. Aaron, Carl and their team of experts helped us turn our design into a reality. We needed a complete over-haul incorporating the kitchen with the dining room. They reconfigured walls, moved the sink, installed a new window and new door. They replaced the cabinets and installed a beautiful quartz countertop and backsplash. We ended up having them resurface and paint the living room walls since the kitchen walls looked so good (we went from textured to flat). There were carpenters, plumbers, electricians, an amazing sheetrock team and other specialists that helped with everything. All of the professionals that did work, did everything according to code and I'm happy with the end result and quality of work inside and out. Communication throughout the entire process was always constant (we had a text thread going that we could reply to anytime). They planned out the order of work and explained everything I wanted to know more about. They helped refine our design and were open to suggestions to help me make better decisions and get the results I wanted. This is the second time that Painting with Purpose transformed my home. In 2018 they painted the entire exterior of my house. You can read my previous review below. Four years later my oldest son graduated from college, and I was ready to turn his old room into a guest room/office for me. The room was painted 14 years ago in two-tone blue by another company. It wasn't their best paint job...with blue drips down the white baseboard, and you could see the previous brown paint color through the light blue in a lot of places. Aaron replied in under 5 minutes after I texted him, and I spoke with Beto, the painter, not long after. Beto came out to the house the next day to look everything over, and then he and Jose were at my door at 8:30 the next morning. It only took a day and a half to finish the job, so by Thursday around lunch time I had a whole new room. I love it! Let me tell you about painting over two different colors of paint. Aaron explained this to me in a text : "When you tape a line over walls there's a different paint level from one color to the next and painting over that line doesn't make the line go away. Paint mimics what's underneath it. Usually that paint line difference needs to be floated with mud and then blended with new texture. That's my experience 90% of the time." I tested that theory by painting primer over the line that evening, and darned if you couldn't still see that little ridge of paint where the two colors meet. Even if the whole room were repainted, I could see how that line would still be visible. So, I told him to go ahead and make it right, as I wanted to finally have a well-painted room. I also removed a 1977 telephone jack from the MIDDLE OF THE WALL (!) to the right of the window. I patched the sheet rock myself, but Beto fixed the texture over it. I also had a dozen or so 3/4-inch holes in the walls where six floating shelves had been. I had spackled the holes, but Beto made sure they didn't look like bald spots all around the room. I swear, now you can't even tell where the holes were! Beto and Jose were very careful protecting my carpet and wrapping my ceiling fan in a plastic drop cloth. They painted the ceilings in both the room and the closet and primed the walls two times, including the lower half of the room a THIRD time to hide that dark blue. All of the trim was previously painted with oil-based paint. It had to be sanded, primed, and then painted with water-based enamel. This included the inside and outside of both doors, including the trim. Afterwards, they caulked the baseboards, door trim, window and window sill for me - and that makes the whole room look much better. I am so grateful to Aaron, Beto and Jose for the outstanding job they did. I highly recommend Painting with Purpose if you are looking for a company that you can trust to do a professional job in your home. Thanks guys! read more

Had a laundry list of items in order to get a house prepped for sale. Work included things like general roof/ac maintenance, landscaping, whole home cleaning as well as some minor/moderate repair work. Aaron and his team were able to get a quick consultation going immediately and had work starting within a couple of days. I was kept up to date via text messages that included pictures of work being done and never felt like I was kept in the dark for anything. Quotes for the work always felt reasonably priced and ultimately everything looked great afterwards. Having a one-stop-shop for all the work took a lot of the weight off of my shoulders as I wasn't having to juggle coordinating quotes/access through multiple service providers. Today was my appointment with Aaron for a painting estimate and he decided to let me know 25 minutes before our meeting that he wasn't going to make it because he had his kids soccer game, to me my time is very valuable and had he chose to communicate earlier with me I would of been more understanding, but I had already left work early to meet him at 330 (took the toll) so I can be there on time and he chose to text me that he wasn't gonna make it because of a soccer game, very unprofessional. Just recently had our new home painted by them and they did an amazing job. They came out quickly for the initial quote and really took the time to listen to what we wanted. We had a very short time frame (our move in date), which was crunched even shorter as we ended up scheduling carpet cleaners on what was originally projected to be the last painting day. Even though I put some tough time constraints on them they were able to finish the work in time and did a great job! My husband and I were not in town as during the actual painting and they kept us in the loop with texts to let me know how everything was going. As for price, it was very reasonable. I hired Painting with Purpose to paint my entire house, replace all the doors, build a closet etc. There are large white spots where my ceiling wasn't painted all over the house. The front door deadbolt doesn't latch, there are pieces of wood missing from a door frame, etc. Was made to hire a cleaning company for several hundred dollars who didn't clean anything. I had to contact Aaron multiple times to have his crew come out and fix things which were not done properly the first time around such as a doorknob for a bedroom door being installed where the lock was outside the room. After not living in the house for several months I gave up because I just needed a place to live. The project was very expensive but the quality is poor. Would not recommend. read more

I was requested to send a photo of the area needing sheetrock repair. I sent the photo and was quoted a fair price and a time they would be at my house to do the work. The contractor showed up about 40 minutes after he was supposed to be here and then after looking at the job, he said he would have to charge significantly more than quoted.
