I drove hours without an appointment just to be sure I wouldn't deal with my home town dealer again, and I am seriously so happy I decided to. Yafeth was so understanding and helpful, even after our initial disappointment when the car we came to see was in the middle of being purchased. I feel bad that the majority of the cars we wanted to see were in their spare lot but the extra effort he made in keeping a smile on his face while I was being indecisive truly made me feel better and he didn't make me feel like I was being inconvenient. The absolute worst, I do not recommend them at all. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Our experience happened late last year. They had an older Tesla Model S for sale that me and my wifey were interested in. We found it online and messaged about it and they seemed to be good with us taking it for a test drive. We live about an hour away so we came into Orem to test drive it, and when we pulled in people inside looked over but nobody came out to the lot or anything. We walked around trying to find the car but we couldn't, so finally we had to go in and ask someone about the car, and someone reluctantly came to show us where it was. We asked for the person we had been messaging with and they told us that the individual was not in but they could help us. The new person then proceeded to show us the car and all was going well. When it came to it, we asked if we could test drive it and the person said yes absolutely. They went to go get the keys, but when they came back they told me they were actually "late for a wedding" and had to leave early so we couldn't test drive. This was off putting so I asked if someone else could show us the car and he brought his manager (at least that's what they said he was). The new guy said I wasn't allowed to test drive the car because it was a "performance car" and I could only test drive the car if they ran my credit, to (and I quote) "make sure" I could afford it and be approved for it. This immediately caught me by surprise, as the car was simply about $25k and was a USED HIGHER MILEAGE TESLA. I own a business and through my life have bought many cars, all of them performance vehicles or expensive trucks and never once had a dealership try to run my credit to verify I could "afford it" when inquiring. I politely asked why they had to run my credit as obviously that wasn't normal, but they didn't give me a straight answer and one of the guys actually even let out a sort of laugh when the other gentleman was "attempting" to explain. They were also highly condescending in tone. On the spot with that having happened we thanked them for their time and walked out, but we could hear them snickering behind us. Shame. We even had our checkbook with us as we were really interested in purchasing the vehicle on the spot. Guess they didn't want the business. We went here immediately after I got off work that Saturday and I wonder if they treated us this way because I had on work boots that had a bit of paint stains on them. Regardless of the reason this is not how a dealership should work. We put off leaving a review but I ran into the page here and see others have also had bad experiences and thought we'd finally share ours, in hopes of hopefully helping people stay clear. I'd like potential buyers to be aware of Action Auto! My good friend was looking for a car. He drove down from salt lake and we took the car for a ride and all of a sudden alarms were going off on the screen and it said it needed to go to a mechanic. So we took it to a mechanic where he found some codes that affected the emissions. So it wouldn't pass. We took the car back and told them what the mechanic found . My friend was not going to put down a non refundable $500 if the car didn't get fixed . They said they would have their mechanic look at it and when my friend called on Saturday they said the problem was fixed. So he paid them $500 and said when he got back from his trip he would pick the car up. When he came to pick the car up we took it back to the mechanic and he retested it and new codes came up. Of course we were upset! We took it back to Action Auto and they said those codes will just go away the more you drive it. Umm who wants to buy a car already having issues? The car had also been in an accident but they said it didn't affect anything . Well my friend stood his ground and said he wanted his $500 back because he didn't want the car with known issues. The manager wasn't in to authorize the money to be given back so my friend had to call the next week. During the sales pitch he asked what the best price was that they could come down to and he was told there's no room to go down in price. They were also only going to give him 5 gallons of gas to go home with ( when you buy a new car the dealer always fills the tank) a few days later he called the manager and he finally approved the $500 to be refunded. My friend went to another dealership up north and bought almost the same car with less mileage. They put all new tires, replaced the cabin filters, filled the tank with gas and came down on the price . . Another funny thing.. my husband looked at all the negative reviews on here so he called action auto and told them he was looking at a car on their lot but then read all the negative reviews and asked them why... they said well gave you looked at google reviews ? (We all know people can make fake reviews on Google ) my husband said no just the ones on yelp and the guy hung up on my husband . So what does that tell you? This business is so freaking shady ! DON'T BUY FROM "ACTION AUTO SALES" IN OREM UTAH Some time around the first week of November, I was searching for a car on Cars . Com which is a site I have frequented on a regular basis, and I came across a 2014 Platinum Toyota Sequoia. . I received a text message from a salesman letting me know that the vehicle wasn't ready yet, but that once they completed its 250pt inspection , then he would supply me with some photos. On November 10th I received several photos from the salesman ‍ regarding the vehicle that I was Interested in and I was immediately impressed and satisfied. I called the salesman and told him I wanted the vehicle so I put a $500 dollar deposit down to hold it while I went to my bank to secure the funds. During the time it was taking to secure my funds I was in communication with the salesman who specifically told me that the vehicle had underwent a 250pt inspection and that he even had the vehicle cleaned and detailed TWICE. I thought ok cool. I even sent specific text messages to the salesman ‍ named Conner and the salesman who accepted my $500 dollar deposit was named Jacob, and they both assured me that I was being taken care of and the vehicle would arrive with no issues. I even paid an additional $600 to have the vehicle shipped to me. I also checked the Carfax which stated the car was in an accident which wasn't told to me up front. But the salesman stated there was only a minor bumper damage which they repaired with no problem and it never affected the Drivability of the vehicle. Ok cool. So the vehicle finally arrives and this is what Action Auto Sales of Orem Utah FAILED to disclose.... 1. I was told there was only front bumper damage which was fixed, but there was rear bumper damage as well. Not sure why there would be paint overspray on the rear undercarriage and on the spare tire if the alleged minor damage was only from the front bumper. And whomever did the poor job of painting managed to get paint splats on the inside on the leather seats. 2. The vehicle was not detailed even once. The inside cab was filthy with food, chips, dirt, sticky liquid dripping off the seats, old Copenhagen pouch on the floor, Copenhagen chew spit was still on the drivers side entry floor, two of the rear seats had the back panels broken off, the cover to the cabin filter was on the floor under a seat in the rear of the vehicle and the wheel alignment was so far off that it had to be corrected first just to drive it right. 3. The rear brake light was cracked which it wasn't cracked in the original photo that was sent to me on November 10th. The front drivers side strut was leaking, the cruise control button was not only NOT working, but when you attempt to engage it, a warning light came on saying bad sensor. Now if they actually did an alleged 250pt inspection like they told me, then this cruise control warning light and a a front drivers side leaking strut would have been caught. 4. The transmission fluid was dirty and overdue, the engine oil was dirty and a few quarts low, and the coolant reservoir was almost dry and worst of all it was a smokers vehicle, which I inquired about up front and was told that it wasn't. I guess the cigarette ashes in the front door was fake ‍. 5. I've had to spend $400 dollars already just to have the vehicle cleaned and detailed appropriately. I've also had to purchase four odor elimination bongs to let go inside the cab of the vehicle because the cigarette smellwas so overwhelming. So they only Venmo'd me $200 towards the detail I'd already had done but didn't want to pay for the broken seats. I was so fed up with the poorly executed customer service, the dishonesty and the pompous arrogance of their finance manager that I threatened to give the worst complaint ever on every social every media platform and google, and Yelp etc.... Now they wanna bargain. The salesman says that he talked to the manager (his boss) and the only way that they would send me the $80 dollars to fix the broken panels on the two rear seats was if I went to their dealership on Goodgle and leave them 5 stars . He said, I don't even have to say anything but just leave them a five star rating. I couldn't believe my ears. After all of the dishonesty and raggedy service I received and you have the nerve to ask for five stars as a contingency for doing the right thing? Really? This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had, and I've purchased a lot of cars in my 50+ years of life. I have never received such blatant dishonesty, such idiotic arrogance and such a lack of integrity from a business who claims to serve the public. LONG BUT WORTH THE READ - TRUST ME!!! BUCKET LIST Moab visit, courtesy of Action Auto Orem leaving my brother and me stranded there. I flew in to purchase my 2020 Accord which made it to Moab and kept us there overnight because the car would not restart. Ended up having to get it towed to a nearby hotel after an unsuccessful attempt to jumpstart the vehicle. After spending the night in our $228 hotel my brother and I woke up to find that the battery had clearly been bad for some time but was likely cleaned up by the dealership to appear new. The battery stunk of sulfur likely due to them overcharging it. There was battery acid leaking down the battery and pooling into the battery tray. The heat shield was destroyed as a result and the battery tray had to be replaced as well. I walked to NAPA and had to purchase a $294 battery and tools to install it. I messaged my salesman Devon about the issue. He informed me that they would only cover the battery, nothing else. So, I asked to speak with his boss, Erik. I emailed Erik about my experience and disappointment and received a response asking if I contacted my finance manager first, which I didn't because it was 10 pm when this happened, and I was never told to reach out to my finance manager if I have any issues with the vehicle. I asked Erik to reimburse me for the battery and the hotel. I also specifically told him to note that I was not asking him to reimburse me for: the heat shield, the battery tray, the tow, the tools, and a day's salary for both my brother and me who had to unexpectedly miss a day of work. He told me that "there is no way of knowing if the battery will randomly become an issue" (Which is a lie. Especially considering the fact that the whole engine bay stunk of rotten eggs from the battery). He also said that they would reimburse me for the battery "out of goodwill" because typically they only cover what it would cost them to buy it. What you failed to understand Erik is that this is not about the money, the money is irrelevant. This is about the fact that your website preaches about your vehicles receiving "a 150 point inspection so that you can be 100% confident in the quality and safety of your vehicle". And when you sell cars that simply do not meet that standard, and leave your customers stranded, you should prioritize making it up to your customer over the money you stuff into your pockets. Also, as a note to my salesman Devon, I now understand the frustration you told me all about with your bosses being greedy and only paying you "$200 for every car" that you sell. Maybe I should sell 3 cars for them to cover the battery and hotel. And maybe you should quit like you had said you were going to during our test drive. Not sure how to feel about this place. While the employees were quick to help they didn't check the vehicle we wanted to test drive to see if it was actually safe to drive. I noticed the car felt a little weird in the back end and come to find out it was missing two rear lug nuts on the back right wheel. They also claim to do 160 point inspections through this website and company called CarKeta which I've never heard of and haven't seen any other dealerships use. Come to find out it's also owned by the same gentleman who runs these dealerships so not too sure how reliable and trustworthy their 160 point inspection actually is. Especially considering the car we test drove had passed their inspection even though it wasn't safe to drive or driving properly due to a faulty and improper tune that was on the car. Action Auto did not sell me a safe vehicle and would not make it right. I purchased a Toyota Highlander from out of state. They took our money easily enough, and the sale was fast. However, the service light was on when I arrived from the airport to drive it home. Given that I had a 9-hour drive, I chalked it up to a learning experience and hit the road. At that point, I was still confident that their third-party inspection (Carteka) had checked the car for any issues. I noticed on the way home that the tires had terrible traction and asked my mechanic a few days after I returned home to have it serviced. When my mechanic checked it over, the tires were barely passable by Utah's state law. Get this Utah law, which states that 2/32" tread is still legal. This is hilarious as this would not be drivable in snow/ice! Keep in mind that Colorado law states that all tires be at least 3/16". I will attest that none of the tires had this tread rating. They were at 7/32, 9/32, 9/32, and 3/32, respectively. In a conversation with the owner - before he knew the tread depths - he said that they typically replace tires with 3/32". However when I mentioned that one of the tires was at 3/32" and another did not even match, he then quoted the Utah state law about 2/32" and would not reply beyond that. I had asked if he could even partially reimburse me for the badly worn and mismatched set because I needed to buy an entire set of new tires (due to Colorado state law), which cost my family over $1600. The tires that they gave me were extremely dangerous for snowy conditions in Colorado (or really anywhere). Still, the owner (JASON BERRY) offered no help to make things right. Next, the real issue. My mechanic found a leaking brake line near a crimped connection during that initial inspection. He showed it to me and explained that it had probably been hit by something caught in the wheel. Again, when I contacted Mr. Berry and provided photographic evidence of the leak, he responded by text that his lead post-sales mechanic could have fixed the issue with a generic hose clamp. That was not hilarious! That is downright negligence, and I hope that they are not jerry-rigging people's life support systems that roll off their lots. When I brought all this up, in addition to the basic maintenance and new tires, asking for some monetary relief from the over $600 replacement of the hose, I got radio silence from Mr. Berry. I guess the $2.00 hose clamp is all he would have been willing to do. Again, I placed some level of trust in their 3rd party auto inspection service, which they mention on their website's home page. "Every car we have in our inventory undergoes a 200-point inspection done exclusively by Carketa to ensure its premium quality." I guess regular maintenance, tires being replaced at 3/32" (as mentioned by Action Auto owner), and freaking brake systems are not inspected in that 200 points. What I think really happened is that they took our vehicle off the transport from the auction where they purchased it, replaced a front windshield (my salesman told me that they did that), detailed the car, and rolled it onto their used car lot. This is negligence and was seriously dangerous for my family, who have to drive into the snowy mountains weekly. Oh, and how did I know it was from an auction? It is because they did not deliver our title for approximately one month after we purchased it. Since they did not have the title in hand at the time of the sale, how would I know if it was a clean title, as they so clearly declare on their website? So, when you read on the Action Auto "About Us" webpage that "EVERY VEHICLE HAS A CLEAN TITLE AND IS CERTIFIED WITH AN A+ RATING BY CARKETA," I call it hogwash. All I had asked for was some relief from Mr. Berry's additional $2100 for basic maintenance and life safety repairs, but he went radio silent as soon as the debate became in my favor. I would never purchase from this company again, because they sold us an unsafe vehicle and would not make it right. Shame on Action Auto, especially for the companies leadership. read more

Horrible! Wrecked cars! No solutions! Cost us thousands! Beware! We live in West Wendover and came into Orem to purchase a car for my daughter on April 16 th. Before leaving we called the dealership to see if the car we were interested in was at the dealership, they said yes. So when we got to SLC we decided to call again just to make sure, they said yes again. So we go to Orem the car wasn't there and hasn't been there at all that day. Disappointed and confused why they kept assuring the car was there and it wasn't, we decided to look around anyways. We found a 2018 Toyota Camry with 16300 miles on it and we bought it along with the warranty. About half way back to Wendover " reduce engine power return to dealership " along with the engine light. We called the dealership, they said bring it back it's probably just a sensor blah blah blah. We had the car towed back to Action Auto. Got the call it was fixed drove back to Orem and got it. At this point I asked Jake if we could talk to the owner about our situation and he said I can't give out his number so I asked him if he could please call us. Problem happens again we call them, they want us to bring the car in again. We ended up taking the car to Toyota (Karl Malone). They fixed some recalls and thought that might of fixed the problems. So we took the car back to Wendover, drove it around town and it was good for a couple weeks. Problem occurred again trying to make a trip to Lagoon, same issue with the car, it went into limp mode. We called Action Auto and said we want to trade this car in, it's under full warranty we need a car that doesn't require a tow truck to follow it. Jake said ok, pick out some cars and we will get them ready for you . Upon arriving we drove a few cars and were trying to decide. Then Jake said the "Owner" wants to keep your car for 2 days before we trade it in. I requested to speak to the owner again, again told no. So what we have is a salesman telling us one thing, the finance guy telling us another, and the " owner" saying another. What kind of business will not let you speak to the owner about this nightmare car sale that happened. We left the broken car there since we just drove it all the way to Orem then the owner changed his mind or whatever. After 2 days nothing. When I called some things I got from the salesman were.... The owner won't talk to you, he is on vacation, maybe COVID19, he is working on fencing at his farm and his cell phone only works when I call him because of service. They offered a trade in 1000 less than we just bought it for. The car had been backed into and insurance was scheduled to fix the repair, so no cost to Action Auto insurance claim and repaired scheduled. Picture below. At this point we realized we had no choice to go get the car and get out of the hamster wheel with these scammers. Took the car to Larry H Miller, the car had been previously wrecked ( which was promised it wasn't and we only get top on the line cars blah blah blah) the mechanic there was able to spot the problem with naked eye. 944.00 in repairs, I reached out to Action to cover the repair. Action wanted me to bring the car back there for the 4 th time to their mechanic that obviously couldn't find or fix the problem the last 3 times. Was told they would cover the parts but Eric and Jason the owners seen I left a 1 star review and now they won't cover anything so we feel like people need to know what your dealing with here so we wrote up this honest review. Oh and of course neither of the 2 warranties cover it because it was in a wreck. I have never wrote a bad review on a business, but don't want anyone else to go through this nightmare with these guys. Owners that won't speak to a customer after 2 months of miscommunication and terrible service. Hey Jason and Eric what are you afraid of? Not sure why they have good reviews here. I was at both locations and both were disappointing! Let's start by telling the reader I already know what I wanted. I also went there to look at one car one car only. This car was in the garage and was nicely clean. Unlike the Lehi location. Multiple dirty cars with trash in them. It was simple. I have a 770 Credit Score. 2000 down. Trade was good I had the 10 day pay off. To a normal dealership this is gold. I sold cars and I was an easy sale. I just had looked at another dealership for a car but just was not sold. They went to my bank and had me ready to go. Problem was I wanted this car and would have done anything to get it after seeing it. The next day I was told sorry you need a co-signer. I said no I do not. My credit is perfect! I haven't needed a co-signer for 30 years! I am not 18 and with no credit. After going round and round with the sales guy I told him his finance guy needs to find a new job. Monday I walked in to Brent Brown found the same car with less mods but same car same color and same trim. I was in and out in less then 2 hours. Lower payment same bank. They said wouldn't finance me with out a co-signer. That was all BS! This dealer does not know how to sell cars or take care of customers. They just BS you till you go somewhere else. Maybe it was age discrimination or they are saving the car for someone else. I don't know but the high school games are dumb. In the end I got the car I wanted and in less than 2 hours and no BS Don't go here unless you want to waste your time and get the run around. To the finance guy you SUCK! The sales people assured us we were getting a great vehicle that was inspected and good to go. It has been nothing but a money pit and absolutely falling apart since we brought it home. The tire pressure light was on and we were told it would go off because they just redid the tires, it never went off. Of course, it is purchased 'as is' because it is used, but this is ridiculous. We purchased for about $8000, so it should have been a reliable vehicle. We are having to put another $8000 into it to make it work. Absolutely garbage place to buy a car. DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR CAR FROM ACTION AUTO! Our car buying experience has been a HUGE ordeal. We had a Hyundai Tucson for one year and decided that we wanted another minivan (more space). We looked around at a number of dealerships and Action Auto had reasonable prices and I found the van that I liked. We went in and test drove it. It seemed fine, except for a few flaws on the back (some of the letters were missing, the bumper had fallen (they said that a clip had popped off), and the back door wouldn't open automatically (they said it needed to be reprogrammed). Our mechanic also looked at the car before buying it and he said that the gasket in the transmission had a small leak. These were things that they agreed to fixed before the purchase of the car. When we went in to work on the price, trade, and financing there was hardly any negotiation. We still owed money on our Tucson ($10,500). Three other dealerships offered us either $10,000 or $10,500 as a trade in for our car. I was really wanting to pay off the entire car with the bank before getting another one. They offered us $2,000 LESS than the other dealerships. I was FINALLY able to get up to $8,500 for a trade in value. The asking price was set, they wouldn't go any lower. The only reason that I worked with this company is because the car seemed more reasonably priced. After we purchased the car we needed to wait for about one week for the parts to come in for the back. We dropped it off one week later and picked it up the next day after they "supposedly" fixed everything. We noticed that the bumper had been clipped back on, but it wasn't lining up with the rest of the car (it was popping out quite a bit). The letters looked great. However, they weren't able to reprogram the back to shut and so they put on a new latch. It still didn't fix it. So they told us to go to Dodge and get it reprogrammed by the factory. Oh, and the diagnostic from Dodge cost up $150. That was more money out of our pocket. We took it to Dodge and they looked at it and said that there was damage to the car. The tailgate latch needs to be replaced to try and get it fixed. It still isn't a guarantee that it will fix it. They said that it looks like there may be actual structural damage to the car (an accident) and that it may never work again. Action Auto said that it was a clean title and that it hadn't been in an accident (based upon the car fax). I let them know these issues and they said to send the paperwork over to them from Dodge and they would get back to us. We haven't heard from them since. So, at this point we are struck with a vehicle on a 6-year loan that has structural damage and within the last week the transmission (where they said that they put the new gasket on to fix it) is starting to act weird while switching gears. They give you a 7-day "warranty" policy where you can bring in your newly purchased car, BUT you have to trade it for another of their vehicles. Our 7-days were up before the replacement parts came in to fix it. It makes me sick every day that I purchased a car from them. I have true buyers remorse for a crappy car that is already acting up. If I could do it again I would have gone to the other dealerships that would have given me more money for my trade and I would have paid more for a car that won't give me problems. worst car dealership in the state.....they take advantage of the disabled and elderly....claim they do an insepection make you pay for it....3 days later i was replacing my brakes...nevermind that the inspection report showed all green dots on everything. then claim that jiffy lube does all there inspections and sometimes things fall thru the crack but refuse to take any responsibility for the $450 bucks it cost me to replace my brakes. i can not stress enough.... do not buy a car from this dealership they are dishonest, rude, and take advantage of the elderly and disabled. read more

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Andre did not look out for our interests and another salesman used our interest in a car to sell the car that we were ready to buy with checkbook out and pen ready. Long story, but suffice it to say luckily we only wasted a few hours of our day at Action Auto in Orem. I would not recommend doing business there, especially with Andre and Braxton. read more

So frustrating. They did well helping us but just a few hours after buying the car the breaks starting making weird noises and the car was vibrating in a weird way. Luckily we had warranty so we took it in. after a week we got the car back and it was still having issues. Overall a good experience. We went in with a specific car in mind and they were helpful answering all our questions. They were helpful in the financing aspect as well and worked with us despite some complications in the process. I've been looking for a used car, so I stopped by Action Auto Sales in Orem on Friday afternoon. Not a great experience. First of all, this store has vehicles posted on KSL and multiple other sites but does not include a link to the Carfax on these sites or on its own website. That was a red flag, so I knew something was wrong with the cars listed and I was right. None of the titles for the vehicles I was interested in was clean and they had all been in accidents or had suffered damage. It's annoying when dealers aren't upfront and make it more difficult on prospects researching; just post the Carfax reports. You're not hiding anything. Second, this lot is super tiny and the cars are packed in tightly, so it's very hard for customers to inspect the vehicles or take them on a test drive. Super inconvenient. The vehicles are so packed that you can't even open the doors to them. And finally, the sales team seems to be comprised of mostly young college men. The guy I talked to was just okay; he wasn't rude or anything but he also wasn't too friendly and wasn't knowledgeable. I would encourage this store to improve the customer experience. read more

I bought a car from Action Auto in December, its a 2016 and cost me 17 grand! But it came to be the worst car I have had. The engine light came on only a few months after having it and cost me $1200 to fix it. But thats just the tip of the iceberg, right after my purchase I noticed many little problems, like the side view mirrors are broken so I cant move them, I've had to fix the gas tank cover because it broke and I needed gas really bad so i had to remove it and get it fixed. With every start it seemed to take longer and struggle more to do so and now it is broken broken! ONCE AGAIN! I am broke all the time because of this car between the 2 oil changes ive had to do scene then because your team failed to do so before selling to me. Between filling up basically all of the things in a car and the huge bills for huge fixes its killing me! Action Auto financed a 19 year old a piece of crap and felt fine with that. Ive talked to my friends and they all hate action auto. I also have a friend that is a manager at one of the shops Action Auto takes it's cars to and they have documentation of cars coming in with over 100,000 miles on it and comes in weeks later and somehow has thousands less close to 30,000, I don't know what they know about the law but that is ILLEGAL and very immoral. I dont know what needs to be done but I feel very very ripped off and am stressed beyond anything owing this P.O.S. car. They did not give me the car I was expecting. I will be posting on every website possible to let people know not to buy the show cars that only look good then break once off the lot! read more

I found a Subaru Outback online, called to ask some questions about the car on a Friday night and arranged to see the car at 10am Saturday morning. Ty, our salesman, had the car ready to test drive right when we pulled up! I wasn't crazy about the Outback but Ty listened to what I wanted and knew the inventory well enough he put me in the right car second test drive! I am happy to recommend Ty as a salesman. Mike helped us with financing and was able to get a great interest rate, a monthly payment that fit our budget and was patient, kind and low pressure through the whole process. I was prepared to do my own financing but I highly recommend going through Mike and his list of credit unions. Incredible customer service! We were planning on purchasing a car that they had at their orem location. We get there to test drive the car and there was stuff all over the floor... drink spots all over the cup holders, part of the chrome was warped around the cupholders, and one of the bumper clips was popped out. Their website also said the car had new tires and when inspected the car was in need of new tires. After talking to the manager... he said that he would replace two tires... fix the bumper, and re-detail the car. When we get there four days later the tires are still the same. The bumper clip is still broken. And absolutely nothing had changed with the cleanliness of the interior of the car read more

These guys were so great! Buying a car can be stressful. None of the employees were pressuring us. They gave us all the information we wanted, allowed us to ask questions, but did not push us to buy a certain car or anything! Obviously, every dealership will try to get you to buy the warranty etc. but they were kind when we said no thanks. They had carfax for us as well as a carketa report. The car was super clean (cleaner than any other dealership I went to). We worked with Keaton and he was so great! We recommend this place for sure! read more

This place is full of stereo typical used car salesmen trash. They lie about the inspections they do and they also call you trash when you call them out on it. They have been the most unprofessional people I have ever met. Go to automax instead they are so honest and helpful with any problems. This place has been a nightmare to deal with. We bought a car from action auto sales and the window was smashed on it along with lots of other issues. So we agreed that we would put money down and then they could let us know when everything was done/fixed so we could actually purchase the car. We then had to wait three weeks for us to just get the car. Then once we got the car and we paid way too much for it, found out, after one trip (200 miles) the transmission went bad and was slipping into gears, and needed to be replaced. While the transmission was being replaced I called to talk to sales they said there was nothing they could do and no trade-in because the car was in worse condition than when we bought it. No crap! They sold us a JUNK car. While the transmission was being looked at, they found out that the transmission mounts were rusted and breaking in some parts. I was livid! After purchasing the car for tens of thousands of dollars we are now spending thousands more to fix the junk they sold to us. I would recommend going anywhere else to buy a car please don't waste with Action Auto Sales... You will save a lot of headache and wasted of time. read more

We live 4 hours away and were looking for a car for my wife and looked at a handful of Subaru Crosstreks. We finally made our way to Action Auto after a few hours of looking and I had called ahead of time to ask about a specific one I saw an add for. Chris helped us and was friendly and eager to help. There were a couple of undesirable interior cosmetic issues with the car, which Chris promptly said would be taken care of. 2 pieces were said to be replaced. With this in mind we signed for the car and put a deposit down. We had to wait a week to take the car home and were told the things to be replaced would actually be taken care of before we came back. (Keep in mind this is an 8 hour round trip for myself and my pregnant wife). A week goes by and we come back to the dealership to pick up her car. They literally had the car for a week and the 2 things to be fixed were not fixed. Chris was not around and neither was the mechanic, so we were told by Jake the finance guy that one of the parts would be ordered and sent to us so I can replace it myself (after I was told they would replace it for me during the week they had the car). Nothing was mentioned about the other part. So now I have to wait who knows how long to get at least one piece to replace myself. On top of all this, the front and rear windshield wipers are totally shot and worn out, plus the fog lights are out, so I've got to replace those as well. At least it came with all weather floor mats. If I were you, I would make sure everything is in writing and done on the car they said they will do before taking the car. But where we live 4 hours away it wasn't feasible. So now I've driven 16 hours only to be "promised" that they will take care of one of the two things on the car. All in all, if you like empty promises and sub-par customer service for a decent price on a car, shop here. read more
