Yafeth was so understanding and helpful, even after our initial disappointment when the car we came to see was in the middle of being purchased. I feel bad that the majority of the cars we wanted to see were in their spare lot but the extra effort he made in keeping a smile on his face while I was being indecisive truly made me feel better and he didn't make me feel like I was being inconvenient. I would be happy to purchase another car from them in the future. Thank you again!

I'd like potential buyers to be aware of Action Auto! My good friend was looking for a car. He…read moredrove down from salt lake and we took the car for a ride and all of a sudden alarms were going off on the screen and it said it needed to go to a mechanic. So we took it to a mechanic where he found some codes that affected the emissions. So it wouldn't pass. We took the car back and told them what the mechanic found . My friend was not going to put down a non refundable $500 if the car didn't get fixed . They said they would have their mechanic look at it and when my friend called on Saturday they said the problem was fixed. So he paid them $500 and said when he got back from his trip he would pick the car up. When he came to pick the car up we took it back to the mechanic and he retested it and new codes came up. Of course we were upset! We took it back to Action Auto and they said those codes will just go away the more you drive it. Umm who wants to buy a car already having issues? The car had also been in an accident but they said it didn't affect anything . Well my friend stood his ground and said he wanted his $500 back because he didn't want the car with known issues. The manager wasn't in to authorize the money to be given back so my friend had to call the next week. During the sales pitch he asked what the best price was that they could come down to and he was told there's no room to go down in price. They were also only going to give him 5 gallons of gas to go home with ( when you buy a new car the dealer always fills the tank) a few days later he called the manager and he finally approved the $500 to be refunded. My friend went to another dealership up north and bought almost the same car with less mileage. They put all new tires, replaced the cabin filters, filled the tank with gas and came down on the price . . Another funny thing.. my husband looked at all the negative reviews on here so he called action auto and told them he was looking at a car on their lot but then read all the negative reviews and asked them why... they said well gave you looked at google reviews ? (We all know people can make fake reviews on Google ) my husband said no just the ones on yelp and the guy hung up on my husband . So what does that tell you? This business is so freaking shady ! Please do your homework before you buy from them. Take the car to a reliable mechanic to make sure the car is actually ok. We sure are glad we did! Shady, shady business

Kellen showed us the two cars we were interested in and gave great advice on which would be better for our needs and the price, which was exactly what we thought also. He showed us car fax and comps for similar vehicles within 300 miles and their prices are a bit below average. He stayed late, answered all our questions, wasn't pushy and gave us time to discuss what we wanted and the opportunity to think it over that night. We hadn't planned on buying right away but when we found what we wanted, we couldn't pass up such a good deal. He followed up the next day and was really helpful in getting things set up to purchase. Probably one of the best car buying experiences I've had. Highly recommend Kellen at Shamrock Auto.

Hear me…read moreout: We were in an incredible bind as a family - needing to take our 3 month old daughter to some specialty treatment for her seizures across the country. We weren't sure what to do - because we had more to take then our van could fit. Brady and Kellen heard about our story and reached out to us to see what they could do. To make a long story short, they found a way for us to use one of their vans for a cross country trip - just so we could get our daughter the medical care she needed in New Orleans. This really isn't the thing you do if money is your main aspiration and pursuit. Their kindness and trust made a HUGE difference for us as a family - not only in being able to make the trip comfortably, but learning some things to help our daughter Olivia, who has a serious seizure disorder. It's hard enough to know who to trust these days, but maybe especially when you're looking for a car. From experience, I can tell you that you can trust Brady and Kellen. I know they care about people - and will treat you fairly. This is the kind of business we should support, celebrate and invest in for our communities. I'm a journalist professionally, so you can't blame me for wanting to write about this experience. We did not buy a car from here but did stop to look. It was a low pressure situation and the…read moresalesman we talked to was very open to the fact that they sell branded titles. My negative review is what we told. We were told a story about a minor accident where there was no frame damage, truck was totaled due to airbag deployment and that they just replaced a few things. We were able to see pictures in the accident damage report and the front end damage was significant. Clearly the car had been in a very serious accident with heavy damage. When we test drove the car the seat was broken and the car creaked and groaned when opening the doors. The salesman tried to gloss over the facts which is his job I guess but we won't be back. We were also not impressed that the Salesman couldn't find the car we wanted to look at. NexGen is growing and they have a satellite lot that we eventually drove to but he had to drive around clicking the remote to try to find the car. It was not a good look. Lastly the SUV we drove down there had broken AC despite being newly offered for sale. Not all branded titles are the same folks. It seems like these guys are trying to put lipstick on a pig and gloss over cars with some serious issues. Do your research and if you buy a car from here take it to a mechanic for an independent verification.

Everybody was nice and fine until they noticed I wasn't going to be as easy to deceive as they thought. The niceness was a mask that disappeared when I started raising questions and showing hesitation. Then they just got short, frustrated, and hostile with me. Omer kept pressuring me to sign purchase paperwork before I knew the interest rate. He kept handing me the pen to sign the dotted line. Kept asking for my business. (Why are you asking for my business when I haven't even received transparency of the financial details?) As I'm looking at the paperwork to purchase this 24k vehicle, it's showing the monthly payment to be $484. Doing the math in my head this kind of payment doesn't make sense for a 24k vehicle and I'm realizing there must be a high interest rate. So I keep asking what's the interest rate? Nowhere on the paperwork did it say what the interest rate was and he also refused to tell me. He said that's just the way they do business. Kept saying "I'm not trying to hide it we just don't disclose that." Well, I have news for you, he WAS trying to hide it. Then I told him I won't be signing paperwork without knowing the interest rate, to which he got angry and stomped off. (So professional) Finally after seeing my refusal and that he wouldn't get the sale without telling me the interest rate, we were then miraculously allowed to speak to the financial woman there, Natalie. She told us the interest is 13.7%. I decided to walk out because I've never had an interest on a loan that high. They kept shaming us telling us it was because we didn't have enough credit. (My husband is 25, I'm 24. We don't have that much credit but have both purchased a vehicle and a home. Our credit isn't bad it's just not amazing) but their constant telling us the interest rate was high because of our credit made us feel really bad! I would also like to add that a day after this entire experience at Nexgen, I ended up purchasing a vehicle at a different dealership for 3x less the interest rate. The car I did purchase costed several thousand more and is still less in a monthly payment than what these guys were telling me. Overall this company seems incredibly shady. I now realize that they are adding hidden fees to the interest rate so they can profit off of you, then blame it on your credit, make you feel bad, and deceive you. I'd also like to add it's illegal not to disclose the interest rate and intentionally hiding it. The whole ordeal was so incredibly unprofessional and I would never recommend anybody go here. My response to your response: To whoever wrote that reply.., You seem to not understand. Omer refused to give me the interest rate. It wasn't seamless the way you're making it sound, "when finance questions came up, the finance manager stepped out to walk through everything" I was HEAVILY pressured into signing paperwork without the proper disclosure of the interest rate. I literally had to fight to speak to the finance manager. He told me we don't get to talk to her before signing the paperwork. He got angry when I kept insisting that I actually do need to talk to her. The way you put it is almost comical. Whoever responded to this must have not been a part of this ordeal because you would know how inaccurate your description is. So my questions for you are. *Do you know that Omer told me we don't get to talk to her until after signing the paperwork? *Do you know how many times he told me the way you guys do business is by not disclosing the rate first? *Do you know that I had to ask "so it's literally impossible for us to speak to her first?" And then he got angry and FINALLY grabbed Natalie to speak to us? You guys are such a shady business.
