Not sure how they made my first review disappear (Didn't think Google pulled legitimate reviews)…read morebut stay very, very far away. This company doesn't care, (Although if you leave a bad review, the manager will call you a dozen times, don't know why, never left a message but I did not answer) the technicians leave a lot to be desired (And yes I know what a good technician is, I've been in the "Tech" business for 50 years) The bill was over $2200.00 and it included my annual service. They told me I needed a new VHF antenna, they said it was broken, nonsense but have to have a working radio when on the ocean, so $200+ dollars for that. When I dropped my boat off, they didn't say it was broken, when they wrote it up, didn't say a word, when I called 3 times to check on the boat (They didn't start working on it for two and a half weeks) they didn't say a word but finally when they brought it into the shop to begin the work I needed a new one cause mine is snapped in half. Again, nonsense, but have to have a working radio on the water. I had an issue with my Fresh Water Pump, so for $500.00+ dollars, I had them fix it. One month later (today, June 7th, 2026) and it doesn't work (I'm sure they'll say it's my fault, like the antenna) so now I have to have the $500+ dollar pump repaired less than a month after they replaced it. Yes, I should bring it back and have them fix it but I don't trust a word they say or the quality of technical employee's that work there. I'm sure they'll find some reason it's not covered, but moving on; When I picked my boat up and put it into the water the Port Engine wouldn't start, wouldn't even crank. I called the store, sat on hold for 2 minutes and got a "Huh, it was run here". Basically they didn't test my Batteries (Maybe an annual service doesn't include testing the batteries in NC but it does everywhere else) so the next morning, I had to go, get a new battery and install it. They didn't lube anything (The Cabin Door sounded like the Munster's House doors) and I can go on and on but it's useless, they just don't care and it shows! They're a typical "Dealer" they don't care, don't have any quality control, no follow up, no people skills and a repair staff with few "Technical Skills "and my new boat yes, just ordered a 280 thousand dollar boat, NOT from them will be delivered in @8 weeks. It's unfortunate they care more about money than their business reputation or integrity.

I recently visited Anglers Marine Supply in Shallotte, NC to purchase a boat, and unfortunately,…read morethe overall experience was disappointing. The staff (with the notable exception of sales representative Carter, who was helpful and professional) came across as unwelcoming and unfriendly. It genuinely felt like they were not interested in earning our business, which was surprising given that we were there to buy a boat--specifically, to repurchase our own boat that they had in inventory. The attitude from most of the team left us feeling undervalued and frustrated. If it hadn't been for the specific boat we wanted, we would have taken our business elsewhere without hesitation. While the facility and selection seemed decent, the poor customer service overshadowed everything else. I would recommend potential buyers consider other marine supply and boat dealers in the area that treat customers with basic courtesy and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, this visit left a sour impression, and I won't be returning.

(Jimmy's Marine supposedly filled the tank as an infinitive for buying however only 30% full and obviously old gas or something because water in fuel alarm.) Called and was told it was fine and to use the gas in it and add more and it should fix the problem. It did not. The screen spontaneously stopped working along with the tilt trim and depth finder. Took the boat back to Jimmy's and was charged $600 for supposedly the first service. This is after all the issues as well as the time they had to look into a so called brand new boat while on vacation. This place is pathetic I will NEVER do business with these people again. Stay away from this place, nicest people ever until we actually purchased this boat and now they don't know you or care anything about you.

I recently brought my boat to Jimmy's marine for spring tune up. My boat is in Light keepers marine…read moreand I use it at least once a week to fish. The boat was running great and it was Jimmy's marine that did the last tune up. I took the boat directly to Jimmy's marine and left it for about a week. They did the tune up and replaced a throttle and shift cable. When I put it back in the water it was running very ruff and I couldn't get started one time. I let them know and they told me to bring it back in. When I went to pick it up they handed me a bill for $300.00. Boat was fine when I brought it in and not right after they gave it back to me. He said that they didn't damage the part and refused to do anything about it. Now I need to sue the company to get my money back.

They picked up the Bike yesterday and I am a half hour away from the dealership so this is a significant gesture. I will update again once I have the motorcycle back I will make a final updated rating. I brought a 2006 Kawasaki 250 KLX in for new tires, plugs and an oil change. I was quoted $600 to $650. It seemed a bit steep but at $165 an hour labor charge the math seemed about right. I just got the bike back and now there is a fuel leak evidenced by the drips below the bike and the smell. In addition, there is a bolt that was left off and put in the saddle bag without informing me or any explanation. And to top it all off my total bill out the door was over $1022 after an estimate of 600 to $650. 57% over estimate seems like a problem to me.

Picked it up and was told all was good and the unit was in great shape. This side by side will not even shift gears now. Just called and explained this situation. They told me I could drop it off and it would take about 2 weeks to get to it, no exceptions. I truly understand being busy. I appreciate that. However, you had it, you were told about it, you sent it home saying that it was in great shape, its worse now than ever, and you can't take another look at it??!!!. Wow, you're the reason that its sitting in the shed now.

I contacted Barton Cody one of the sales people there if that's what you wanna call him. I messaged…read morehim about a boat on messenger which he read and failed to respond to three messages and then after a few days finally came back and said it was under contract and to be inspected that week. I contacted him at the end of the week. It had not been inspected. Then when I questioned either the timing or the validity of the inspection he told me to do my own job because this was his job and he had plenty of buyers for the boat. This guy is not only a beta man, but an ass clown who is rude and is probably the worst salesman I've ever run into especially for Boats. As far as I'm concerned, they should rename this company, booger Yacht brokers.

Called the broker at BB and said we wanted to put in an offer at asking price. Because of work situation I did not know if I would be able to come see it and asked about having a professional come survey it. Broker actually scoffed as if that is something that never happens, and tells me we can't see/survey the boat until we have a contract. So I put in the offer, wire the deposit to escrow, tentatively arrange for time off work, and wait. I finally prompted him on the last day of offer period and he tells me that the owner does not want to sell it to me, even at asking price, because I have not seen the boat....HUH? So I cant see the boat until we have a contract, but can't get a contract at asking price because I have not seen the boat......go figure THAT one out. What a barrel of monkeys. A good broker would have explained to his seller that a long distance purchase with a professional survey is not an uncommon practice, but this guy acted like he just did not want to sell me the boat. Again, asking price and cash buy

Update: After returning home, I took the trailer into the shop to have the other three wheels…read morerebuilt to bring them all up to "like new." Upon test and inspection of the wheel done by ProTech, they determined that it was at best a temporary fix with perhaps used or damaged parts. It was making noise and grinding. So I had it rebuilt again. I am still very thankful to ProTech for helping me out on the side of the road and enabling me to get home. The working conditions were less than ideal and, with the time constraints, perhaps they had to MacGyver it a bit. Just a little disappointed that my $300 for that wheel had to be followed up with another $150 to make it right. But "Thank You" to ProTech for saving my backside in a difficult situation. Original post: I highly recommend Tom and the team at ProTech! On the first call, they took the time to understand my full problem and offered advice not only for the specifics of what they could do for me (fix my trailer) but also provided recommendations for other local businesses who could play a role in addressing my full problem (how to move the trailer and what to do with the boat). They also told me that if I did not have a painted hull I should limit the time I keep the boat in the water, etc. Everyone else just said, "get the trailer to us somehow, and we'll take a look." Yes I had a broken trailer problem but the bigger problem was how to get it to a shop and what to do with the boat. On the second call to Tom and team, they offered to come to me and figure it out and fix it on the side of the road. After a couple trips back and forth from the shop, everything was fixed. Bottom line is they earned my trust with their knowledge and bigger picture view of my problem and then went out of their way to fix it. By far the most knowledgeable and helpful marine services provider that I called and went out of their way to work with the reality of the situation vs "bring it in and we'll take a look."
