He took a loan from the credit union for the rest. We informed them that he was 18 and we really wanted to make sure he got something reliable that he wouldn't be dumping money into right away and Dave told us he just had it in the shop mechanic replaced a few things and engine ran great only thing needed would be back tires everything else was great. So we took his word for that. 4 days into owning this car it lost complete power while our son was driving it and brakes quit working and luckily he was able to veer off the road before he went head on into a main road. We had it towed and Dave had mechanic look at it said he was puzzled but replaced a crack shaft sensor and charged us a 100 bucks and said they did this out of "goodwill" because we bought the car "as is". Dave said he isn't even telling Chuck he did this because he wouldn't allow it. Well 2 days later same problem so my husband looks under the hood and the battery terminals were completely loose which leads us to believe did they even look under the hood or just take us for 100 bucks. Fast forward 5 days. The engine completely BLOWS UP. We call Dave and Chuck say sorry nothing we can do you bought as is. Now reading through this company reviews this is not the first time they have done this to people. And they will comment on this " you signed as is" "you didn't purchase the extended warranty" - he did purchase an extended warranty 2 days after the purchase of buying the car because their warranty didn't cover nearly as much as we like we have a company we use and we like a lot but you can't use it until you hit 30 days of purchasing it. Also when you buy as is especially on something that is 7000 dollars you are hoping to get more than 15 days out of it!!! And those 15 days not having issues!!! So save yourself the comments Dave and Chuck. I am not sure how you guys can live with yourselves knowing you basically stole from a poor 18 year old kid starting out in life but hey more power to ya I guess.

This was the single most distressing visit to a used car dealer I have ever made. The owner…read moreMichael was surly, scornful, condescending, and willing to lie. The place is a big storage unit, no lift at the facility, not a real dealer. He treated me as a woman with patronizing comments when I asked questions. He treated my other family member, who is knowledgeable about cars, in an even worse manner. If you want to make an offer, he won't even counter. He said " sounds like I will be paying you money to take the car". He said "you wasted my time". Anything you say, he says--"what do you expect from a 20 year old car". He told me a car from Maryland can't have rust because they don't get snow and don't use salt. Simply not true. There were many many things wrong with this car that were not disclosed in the description, and he would not admit that they were an issue. He would not make any adjustment for the repairs that needed made. No matter how great the car, do not go here unless you are willing to subject yourself to ridicule and condescension!

Very dishonest and misleading dealership. Their listing for a 2014 Honda CR-V stated that the…read morevehicle had new brakes all around and excellent tires. In addition, during a phone call with Michael Megresh, the owner, he told me the tires were new all around. I live about an hour away, so I did not want to drive there until I had financing arranged through a third party. I relied on the statements in their listing and on what I was told over the phone. Those statements, which are still on their website, were completely false and, in my opinion, borderline fraudulent. Because I was seriously interested in the vehicle, I paid $195 to have a well-respected independent pre-purchase inspection company inspect the car. The inspection found that the brake pads were only about 50%. The tires were mismatched, with three of one kind and one different tire. The tread depth was only 4/32nds. One tire had a gash in the sidewall, and another tire was badly worn on the outside edge. One of the most important things to me was finding a vehicle with good tires and good brakes so I would not immediately have to spend money on maintenance. I assumed the description they posted on every site where they listed the car was truthful. It was not. It could not have been more misleading. When I called the salesperson I had been dealing with, he said he had given the matter to his boss. That is when I called Mr. Megresh. I have never been treated so rudely as a customer. He told me my inspection company was lying to me and did not know what they were doing. What possible motive would an independent inspection company have to give me false information? Despite the inspection results, he still insisted the tires were excellent and the brakes were new. Then he had the nerve to offer only $200 off the price of the vehicle. The only reason I paid for the inspection was because I relied on their representations that the vehicle had new brakes and excellent, or supposedly new, tires. Both of those statements were false. All I asked for was reimbursement of my $195 inspection fee because their misleading listing caused me to spend that money. Whatever you do, stay away from this dealership. In my opinion, they made false and fraudulent statements in their listing and over the phone, treated me rudely when confronted with the inspection results, and refused to take responsibility. They will tell you anything to sell a car. Be very careful.

Salesperson never called back but texted me twice. 1st time he will send the tax papers and he could get mats at cost. I texted back and asked why he couldn't include floor mats, and never got a response. Followed up a couple weeks later about tax papers and floor mats again, called and texted him. He got back and said they couldn't find our tax papers after triple checking and he could get floor mats at cost (no explanation why he wouldn't include) then said he is on paternity leave the next day. I followed up with someone with their online assistants a week after and asked if someone could call me regarding floor mats. She said I should receive and email back. Week later checked back with same online assistant. She apologized no one got back to me but suggested I call someone in sales to help with my issue. I called and talked to a sales rep. his name was Jim. Explained that I was hoping after purchasing a car there they would include floor mats. He told me he purchased a car that was more expensive than mine and they didn't include floor mats. Then basically said I'm going behind the salesperson that sold us the car to get the answer I wanted. I explained the salesperson never really addressed why he would only give mats at cost, and he could have cared less. I am a business professional, and I understand there are people that do go around employees backs to get what they want. I am not one of those people. I never got an explanation from our salesperson at all. The other salesperson was so cavalier about how I was going behind our salesperson's back and seemed to think he was "putting me in my place". Absolutely terrible customer service, I would advise people to buy a car elsewhere. They lost our tax papers and got their sale and now they are done. I will let anyone who ever wants to buy a car to go anywhere but there. I'm disgusted.
