Great experience! My salesman was Brian & he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! We did not intend to buy a new car when we walked into the dealership but instead walked out with the car if my dreams!

It's been well over a month at this point and no updates on parts, but have got plenty of solicitations/texts on signing up for their discounted plan/services. I drive a fleet/company vehicle which they know and have no use of whatever they're offering. They said my steering wheel control buttons and backup camera were bad and needed replaced and that they "re-flashed" my shifter button. I don't know what they were talking about but none of it needed replaced. Firestone fixed a loose battery cable issue that was causing the shifter issue and Reddit help me fix re-seating the camera harness that fixed the back up camera and steering buttons. Haven't had any issues since Firestone fixed the main battery issue. No call back, no updates, spammy texts, and saying I needed parts I didn't...No, I don't recommend taking a vehicle here.

Now my Truck was involved in a accident where it was totaled and to close out my financing account the finance company needs to get a hold of the dealership. They've been trying to get a hold of them for 45 days. Leave voice messages and emails. I have called the dealership numerous times talk with the operator, letting her know needed to talk to the finance person in charge. They always tell me they'll call you back but they don't. I've called and left numerous messages with the sales manager. They don't call me back. Meanwhile I am without a vehicle until the dealership gets a hold of my financial bank and gives them what the warranty payout is. They have to be the worst dealership in Lake County. I've never had to go through something like this before.

I took it back to the original dealership the same day. They looked at it and stated, "We didn't even have to change the light bulb. It must be the cold weather." Ok, fine. It went out again and instead of going back to the west side of Cleveland, I made an appt. here as they are a certified dealership. 3 hours later, I'm out $92 (half of the cost of labor, etc.) because a light bulb was out and "is not covered by warranty". So essentially, we had to pay $92 because a light bulb was "out". Well, that's odd because the guy at the dealership previously said, "We didn't even have to change the light bulb." Hmmm. I'm not going to outright accuse them of shady practices as I can't prove anything. What I do know is that next time I have an issue with my car (aside from huge issues like engine, transmission, etc.), I will be going else where. Oh, I will say something positive - I got a courtesy car wash. Yay.

The vehicle still had the Serpentini license plate frame and temporary tag on it, and I had not even made my first payment yet. I understand the risks associated with buying a used vehicle, especially without an extended warranty. Normal wear items such as an A/C repair, water pump, or wheel bearing can happen at any time. What I did not expect was a complete engine failure after only 500 miles. A Hemi engine should not fail that quickly under normal circumstances. I was told the vehicle had been tested on the dealership's six-mile test drive route after this situation. While that may satisfy a basic inspection process, it clearly was not enough to identify a major engine issue. Given how quickly the engine failed, it is difficult not to question whether this vehicle was truly evaluated before being sold. My experience with management was equally disappointing. On August 21, I visited the dealership to speak with Carla, the sales manager, regarding possible solutions. She knew I was there and had been informed of my arrival almost immediately. Despite this, I sat in the showroom for approximately 90 minutes while she interacted with other customers and never acknowledged me. When she finally approached, she responded to being asked if she remembered me by saying, "I guess we sold him a car or something. My name is Carla, nice to meet you." During that conversation, I was told the dealership needed additional information and that I would receive an update by the end of the following day. That call never came. After several days without communication, I contacted the dealership myself and was asked to return on August 27 to discuss options. During that visit, I was informed through a salesperson, not Carla, that I would need to pay approximately $15,000 for a used engine or $19,000 for a new one. I had just financed the vehicle for roughly $20,000. When I wanted to discuss those options directly with Carla, I was told she had already left. This was the second time I visited seeking assistance and was unable to have a meaningful conversation with the person responsible for addressing the situation. On August 29, I met with General Manager Mo Zeda. The options presented were: * Finance a new Silverado priced around $59,000. * Attempt to finance another vehicle separately. * Pay approximately $14,000-$15,000 to replace the engine. * Receive a one-time refund of my $1,500 down payment. None of these options addressed the reality that I had purchased a vehicle that experienced catastrophic engine failure after only 500 miles of ownership. Being encouraged to consider a truck costing nearly three times as much as the vehicle I purchased was not a realistic solution. Referring to the return of my own down payment as a "goodwill" gesture was equally disappointing. This situation has created a significant financial burden and has left me feeling completely unsupported as a customer. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Serpentini Chevrolet. If you purchase a used vehicle here and decline an extended warranty, be aware that you may be left to deal with the consequences alone, even when a major failure occurs almost immediately after purchase. The vehicle failed after 500 miles. The customer service that followed was non existent.
