Rise and Shine took care of my issue and I started to discuss my old, very loud, chain driven garage door opener. The repair person was Dan Deluka, who after the service call, took the time to update me on the advancement of garage door openers in the last 20 years (the age of my opener) and what I would gain by replacing my old, noisy opener. I want to stress that I was one who asked to be educated; it was not a case of Dan trying to sell me an opener after the service call for the door. Dan did a great job of explaining the options and the improvements made since my old opener was installed. In the end, I decided upon a model. Dan was able to install it in a very short amount of time and I was completely satisfied with both the product and the installation. I have found that, although Rise and Shine isn't the least expensive option, it's a company that stands behind their products and services. Because we had our cars outside the garage, we were fine with having the door replaced early the next week. The guy who came had to in and out of the house as he removed the garage door. He was very polite and just worked without stop. After only about 4 hours, we had a replaced door with all parts from the other garage door removed. The door looks really nice -- really nice. It is also very quiet. Total cost was $1,095, including tax. It has been in operation now about a month, and we have had no problems.
