And this is where the story takes a positive turn. Signed up online and received a text with a link of who was coming and what day. Included information of what was going to be performed and how much. On the day of the appointment, my daughter let the technician in and I immediately found him to be polite, professional, and naturally friendly to my dog. I was instantly put at ease. Having never had to use a pest service, I was concerned about who would be going through my house and this poor soul had to crawl and climb all over a completely turned upside-down house, on a hot July day. Every step of the way he was a bevy of information and empathy. I was quite comfortable having him move about my house without me, he earned my complete trust. He set some bait and traps and had immediate results the evening after the first visit. He returned 2 weeks later to clear the traps (3 kills!) and seal up the outside. And since Mass Bay completed their work, no mice! In terms of value, the price was in the 3 figures. What would you pay for peace of mind? Mass Bay's options and pricing seemed fair and I will consider setting up a yearly contract with them, again for that peace of mind. I also learned quite a bit about mice in general, which was a nice add. I like when people geek out about their work, it's a good sign of happy employees. Happy employees do excellent work. This has been, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a service company. I contacted customer service more than eight times. Every representative apologized, promised to make it right, and assured me that a technician would come out to address my pest problem. Despite all of those promises, no one ever showed up. I wasted countless hours waiting for appointments that never happened and repeatedly had to follow up because no one at the company took responsibility. To make matters even worse, I later obtained the service ticket showing the visit had supposedly been completed. The document indicates that the service was performed and includes a signature in the customer signature area beneath my printed name. I was never present, I never received the service, and I certainly never signed or authorized anyone to sign on my behalf. Seeing a document that suggests I acknowledged work that was never performed was extremely concerning. Charging a customer for a service that was never provided is unacceptable. Repeatedly making promises that no one follows through on is unacceptable. Completing paperwork indicating the service was performed when it was not only makes the situation worse. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Between the no-call/no-show appointment, charging me for work that was never completed, more than eight calls to customer service with nothing but broken promises, and the inaccurate service documentation, this has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had.

They were supposed to come once a month to check for pests and deal with them. Unfortunately, they do not seem to have enough techs to service all their customers. They "cancelled" the second monthly service without informing us. When we asked when they would be out to spray for ants they said we were not covered for ants. This is not what we were told when we spoke to the salesman. For $175 a month you would expect the most destructive pest would be covered. I can't recommend this company.

My first call, sorry there are no appointments and I see you have an appointment in a week and a half you will have to wait. I asked for a Manager to call me. On the 4th business day I called again. I was told scheduler would call me. On the 6th business day, I was told scheduler would call me and Manager would come out. On the 7th business day, I was told I would have to wait until my appointment. My cabinet was infested with 100's of sugar ants and they just didn't care. I had 3 appointments in the prior 3 months with this same issue. Why didn't the technician look for the nest to try to resolve the problem. Why did I not get a call from the Manager. One representative told me the Manager was in the field and couldn't answer calls because he would never get any work done. I am leaving this review because this is not the first time I have called with sugar ant issues and have had to wait over a week for a technician to come out. They also have very high turnover. Most technicians don't even spray inside they just walk around the house. I also thought they were spraying for carpenter ants all these years. I was told I didn't have that service.
