We had 15 yellow jackets flying through a window into our property. I called Clancy Brothers and they had quick availability the next week (this was leading into a holiday weekend). They arrived on time and carefully inspected all over our property and could not find a nest. Rather than just check out and leave, they took the time to track a few yellow jackets that were buzzing around outside and ultimately tracked them to a nest on our adjacent neighbor's property. This allowed us to work with our neighbors to get the problem addressed quickly. They were also reasonable in dropping their charge to an inspection-only fee (the previous quote had included removal of nests). I had my brand new tenant call with reports of a "rat" (a rat! 16 years living here, no rats, now A RAT). The tenant sends a picture of a pretty big rodent. The picture is a bit blurry, but holy moly. I call Clancy Brothers. Eduardo came out the next day. Great! I realized birds were in my upstairs bathroom vent. Saw good review of Clancy Bros., so tried them. The call was answered live, information was gathered, and they set up an appointment for the next day. The next day Paul called to let me know he would be coming and to check if it was ok if he were a little early. When he arrived, he reviewed the situation and explained how he would handle it. One hundred percent excellent service and customer service from the beginning! I went on their website to put in for a free quote on a possible wasp nest removal within the eaves/soffits of the house. I was pleasantly surprised to get a response within 1 or 2 hours from Jessica. It was detailed with 2 quoted amounts, explaining the reason for the second [higher] amount, and she also gave me possible days and times of days for me to choose. The emailing was done toward the end of the business day on Friday, and we got into the books for Monday afternoon! I don't know it's always possible to have such short wait times, but I was happy about that! When I responded with my preferred day/time frame, I also asked about the 2 coupons that I saw on their website. It must have been after hours, but Jessica responded so quickly and told me that only 1 coupon could be used, and she suggested the one that gave me the better deal. That's when I knew I could trust this company! Technicians Rob and Patrick were very kind and professional, and they came with masks on because of COVID. I mostly talked to Rob, and I am most grateful for his willingness to help with a couple of extra things while he was up on the ladder. I guess the wind must have been pretty strong today because one of the framing pieces of a 2nd floor window was sticking out, and Rob so kindly offered to pop it back into place and nail it down securely! He also offered to put back in place the soffits and the metal piece that was jutting out where I thought there might be a wasps nest. There was no nest there, even though wasps were flying in and out at that spot, but he put some dust in the area and nailed down the piece so it was secured. Rob's nickname must be "Above and Beyond." I left Rob and Patrick to do their thing, and they ended up finding a small wasps nest and took care of everything before showing me and explaining everything. Rob patiently answered my questions with detail and took the time to walk around the roof to make sure there were no other pest issues. I told Rob I was going to keep the nest to show my students, and he gave me a great tip to put the dead wasp and wasps nest in a vial with antibacterial gel so you could see them better. Not only did Paul treat the area, he also cleaned my deck to make sure no residue was left. He further explained how the treatment works and best ways and timing for sealing the area that the hornets were entering. I appreciate the excellent service. If I had purchased a hornet spray and done it myself, I do not have confidence that the problem would have been resolved. Most likely it would only have fixed the problem for a short period of time and most likely I would have been stung multiple times.
