This has been, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a service company. They scheduled a service appointment, never showed up, never called, and still charged me for a service that was never performed. What happened next was even more unbelievable. I contacted customer service more than eight times. Every representative apologized, promised to make it right, and assured me that a technician would come out to address my pest problem. Despite all of those promises, no one ever showed up. I wasted countless hours waiting for appointments that never happened and repeatedly had to follow up because no one at the company took responsibility. To make matters even worse, I later obtained the service ticket showing the visit had supposedly been completed. The document indicates that the service was performed and includes a signature in the customer signature area beneath my printed name. I was never present, I never received the service, and I certainly never signed or authorized anyone to sign on my behalf. Seeing a document that suggests I acknowledged work that was never performed was extremely concerning. Charging a customer for a service that was never provided is unacceptable. Repeatedly making promises that no one follows through on is unacceptable. Completing paperwork indicating the service was performed when it was not only makes the situation worse. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Between the no-call/no-show appointment, charging me for work that was never completed, more than eight calls to customer service with nothing but broken promises, and the inaccurate service documentation, this has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had. read more

TERRIBLE...this is for the review of South Shore MA based Ehrlich pest control. Which was average-good in value until now. The one local Weymouth based tech Dennis was experienced, friendly, and reachable by cell phone (unheard of anymore). The new tech didn't text or call ahead to let us know he was arriving, did *not* address the exterior hornet's nest we *specified* in our service telephone call (where it was, etc), and simply sprayed the outside. We were 15m away picking up our car from the service dept of course, scrambled to call Ehrlich - and get this - *ALL* their computer systems were down of course! And they couldn't contact any local manager to find or call the tech - who had no phone no. listed. This means these are freelance outsourced techs. Ehrlich still charged me 72.00 and hoping the phone center rep today does actually remove this charge as promised- as that's never guaranteed. AVOID this company if you're a need to get it done right the 1st time, kind of family. read more

I called the main number when the window of time expired (he was supposed to show up between 8 and 9:30am), and the gentleman on the line said "oh that's interesting you're right, ok, we'll send him a message and he'll be in touch". I had Erlich come out a year ago after having various companies for carpenter bees under my trim on roof. Companies had come out in the past every spring. But the bees cane back every year. Erlich, the most expensive, convinced me that the reason the bees kept coming back was because I needed to spray in the fall too. So I did. Guess what? Bees are back. When I called, I was told I had a yearly contract for every spring abd fall. Sorry. But I signed no contract. Nor did I ask them to come back. Upset that the company was just going to cone back out, I told the representative that if the bees keep coming back, why are we spraying? I was told one one spring and fall would do it. Then I got a text saying they were coming out! But, if I didn't want them, I should reply with STOP. I did. Do not hire this company. I wrote this same review which disappeared off the site. Retired (semi) My advice to anyone signing up for service is to get to know your pest team,(yes they are a team)you may get the same Technician or several, just remember that they are highly trained and there to solve pest problems. I had many years of serving the South Shore in Massachusetts and met all different types of customers,all different issues, and eventually we solved their pest issues. Hopping from one company to another is the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over hoping for different results, but just getting the same. Every team member is a local individual and most have been with the company several years. Work out any issues you may have and I can't say there won't be some kind of issue(not usually)but know this...they will work to resolve it. Not bs I can assure you. I made 5 phone calls in one week citing immediate issues-EVERY CUSTOMER SERVICE REP TOLD ME I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE SAME DAY SERVICE since we were a MEDICAL OFFICE. At the end of the week, a techs invoice said he "supposedly" came by for a "service maintenance" and "spoke with all available office staff about any pest activity; no pest activity reported or observed in office or common spaces" which has to be a bold face lie since our whole office was here and no one spoke with us and of course we had activity. We had called it in every day that week. So, was he really here? or just billing us for a service he did not actually do. We have lots of rodents, so obviously not doing their job well, or AT ALL. Stay away from Ehrlich. OH and no manager EVERY CALLED ME BACK and the sweet Customer service rep could NEVER get any manager on the phone the 9 times I called. read more

I used this company when it was Watfch All since 2002. Everything was just perfect with WatchAll. However, since Ehrlich took over I have experienced endless NO shows for scheduled appointments. NO one has ever called or emailed me to let me know of changes. Also, I have sat at home and waited the 4 hour window only to miss other scheduled events. They charge lots of money for their services and the value is very low quality. I have called them numerous times and left messages and emails...Management never gets involved or tries to correct the situation. I paid $500 last year and they were no show on me 3 times after I took time off from work and waited for them-nothing I can never get a local/regional person to talk to and the technicians even told me how much the company has gone downhill. Ehrlich doesn't have Veg. Management Services in the Northern states! A couple of days ago I called Ehrlich for their Vegetation Management Services & the lady I talked to checked on her computer to make sure they serviced my area etc & told me they did. So she scheduled an appt for them to come out (today) to look over the area at 1:00. At 1:20 PM I get a call from them & the guy asked my "what kind of vegetation service" I need. I told him the exact same thing I told the lady the other day & he told me that they don't provide Vegetation Management Services to my area (I live in New England). They only provide Vegetation Services down south. So other customers be aware...if you live in the Northern states, they do NOT provide Vegetation Management Services to anyone in the Northern states. They only provide Vegetation services in the southern states! Don't understand how the lady I talked to could be so wrong after she checked her computer to make sure the service was available in my area!! I feel like I've been blown off!! read more

I said MIL and husband should be. He said he was in my driveway. Asked for email to send quote. Said he sent quote. Didn't get it, asked him to text. He texted an amount of $2,288.00. This is a terrible company and advise not to use them. I used this company to get rid of rodent in my attic in Nov 2023. Sales specialist from Hingham Ma office scheduled an appointment with a technician John who never arrived on time. After waiting all morning he arrived and didn't know what he was suppose to do. He had no communication from the service dept. He came un prepared and didn't put any baits in the attic as he could not reach where the mice noise was coming from. He was unprofessional and didn't check around the outside of the house for possible entry points for the mice instead he was on phone all the time with his friend. I called the company the same day to cancel the service and remove the baits . No one came back and no manger returned my call despite numerous calls to customer service. Last I heard from billing Dept that my account will go to collection. I am shocked at such poor customer service, communication and no attempt at dispute resolution. read more

For almost 40 years I used a local pest control company for termite control and yearly inspections until they sold out to Ehrlich. I never had any problems in that time. They always conducted their annual inspections on time and very professionally. Since Ehrlich took over, however, they have made and missed two inspection appointments in two months. They never called either time. The reps I talked to were very nice, but their on site service is abysmal. I'm not giving Ehrlich another opportunity, especially after reading other reviews from people who've had similar problems. I've cancelled my contract and have requested a refund of my yearly fee. The services are not meeting my needs, even if we have an Agreement for a year around pest control. We had issues with the company providing services according to the Agreement since the beginning. There was a lot of confusion between the office and the technician providing the treatments we agreed upon in the first months, then the appointments got canceled or missed by the technicians. We had to cancel the mosquito and tick control plan because we didn't see any results. We made a lot of phone calls, emailed, wrote a review to indicate that services for pest control are just partially performed, and not in accordance with the Agreement, that appointments get cancelled by the technician, and still didn't get anywhere. The appointment we had scheduled for September 11, was cancelled by the technician again. I called your office on October 29th, filed a complaint and no one contacted me. After 20+ years with Watchall Ehrlich took over and it is not worth the aggravation (nor money) to continue to use them. I get a robocall thanking me for making an appt with them (I did not) and they will be out on a day determined by them (not me). The time for my appt is 8am to 5pm, kinda narrows it down. When I spoke with the call center they said there was no way to contact the local agent's office to make a mutually agreeable time for their visit. Given a local number to call I was bounced back to the national call center, then was given an email address which was rejected. Funny thing is the local service personnel that actually do the work at my house, are efficient and professional yet empathetic to this "new bug world order". Ehrlich as no clue how true customer service is supposed to work. You know, people talking to people - that good customer service begets greater profits - should be a win win. All I could get was that a "recovery work order" would be written, I couldn't even get a new time. My evaluation =ZERO stars. When Cambridge Chemical who were stellar was bought out by Ehrlich a few yrs ago the customer service went straight downhill. Today I waited from 12-5 at my house for a service person to do my supposedly routine annual termite check that Camb.Chem.always did like clock work. When I called to see if they were running late I was told no one was coming. No call from them, nada, nothing. I don't know if it was lost in their system or what. This is after trying for WEEKS to get this appointment made! My appointment last week was also cancelled (or never made?). The same thing happened last year. This is truly starting to feel masochistic. The women on the phones are perfectly nice and kind and will indeed give you a specific time and date for a technician to come out but in point of fact can't seem to accomplish the simple task of setting up a reliable termite inspection in my area near Concord Ma. However, Ehrlich is quick to send me the bill every year BEFORE any inspection has taken place! I complained about that when I got the bill; they were apologetic but oops they just sent me another bill yesterday. My theory is that they would prefer to be paid for an inspection without actually having to visit the property. It's an interesting concept for a business. We initially started with the company prior to being bought out by Ehrlich. We continue to have scheduling issues. Whether it's them showing up without an appointment, rescheduling an appointment without notifying me, myself canceling an appointment and they do not notify the technician. I attempted to have someone handle a bird infestation. First a person came to assess it then he never returned my calls for two months then sanother person came to assess it and he then never got back to me after I attempted to reach him and a customer service representative sent him a message. I am very disappointed and will NEVER use them again. I paid for the 365 plan and I am supposed to get our mouse traps maintenanced every few months however hey do not keep their appointments! read more

Had used Watchall previously with great results. Since Watchall was bought out by Ehrlich we have been astounded by the challenging corporate structure that comes with the larger company. We subscribed to the Ehrlich 365 for what we were told was the annual fee (this aligned with previous costs). Had a number of visits without much success but confirmed with staff when scheduling by phone that additional visits were covered under the 365 plan. Now I see an additional charge on my credit card statement and called the office only to be told that the fee I was charged was an INTRODUCTORY offer for only two visits and to continue I would be charged monthly. This is a terrible practice especially when you see little improvement; it makes the customer feel as if they are being ripped off. One thing I will say is that the technicians are great and thorough - it's the corporate structure that prevents the customer from having a positive experience. read more

She stays in contact and is always there when we need her. Professional and very trustworthy. We got honey bee hives and she took the extra time to help us understand what type of products to use so that would not hurt the bees and honey production. Once Erlich took over the venerable Cambridge Chemical, who had serviced our house for at least 20 years, things really started to go downhill. Getting someone to answer a question became almost impossible, but our latest experience takes the cake. We called on a Sunday morning about an urgent rodent problem and reached some centralized service who assured us that the technician on duty would call us back shortly. About 7 hours later, we got a call from someone who said he was too busy to help us but that we would get a call first thing Monday morning. By noon, we gave up and decided to call Terminix, who responded immediately and sent someone over the next morning. (Terminix has since followed up very professionally.) Finally, at about 3:00 PM on Thursday, we got a call from Erlich. The person who called said he just got the message that we had called (which, from his tone of voice, was obviously untrue) and that he wanted to set up an appointment. When we told him we had been waiting for Erlich to call since Monday morning and had made other arrangements, he was completely unconcerned and unapologetic, and sounded like he just wanted to get off the phone. It was clear that he felt he had better things to do than talk to a customer who had been with his company for decades. I was surprised both at how good Terminix's customer service was and how unacceptably poor Erlich's was. read more
