Pretty damn good. Man it was weird finding these guys, since I had sent my artwork into Vreeland Graphics about 3 weeks before, and was wondering why they had not responded. I stopped in to Vreeland and found a deserted building, checks on the floor, tee shirts all over the place and no one around. Creepy, like a Twilight Zone episode. Vreeland closed dammit. But the end result was not so bad. A phone call to the old number took me to Action Screen Graphics, closer to my pub and apparently heir to the Vreeland customer base. Cerridwyn (what a great Lord of the Rings type name) took excellent care of me and our shirts turned out nicely. They had all our old screens from the Vreeland days, and even honored our old pricing agreements. Nice people, nice shirts, nice quality process. We have decided to shift our pub tee shirts from a company in Arizona that used to be in Austin to this company that has been in Austin for a long time, and is just around the corner from us. She made suggestions to improve the overall look of the shirt (enlarging the design and helping with ink color selections) and got them done in a jiffy. Walking into Action Screen Graphics is like walking into Austin's musical history. The upstairs walls are plastered from floor to ceiling with posters representing almost every band known to have ever played Austin over the last twenty years, and there's a good reason why so many folks have relied on ASG for so long. John and his crew recently helped me gear up on short notice for an event we were hosting at UT and they went out of their way to make sure that everything we needed was accounted for on time and at a reasonable price. I could tell from early conversations that John is a perfectionist when it comes to the work, so I never did feel a need to concern myself with quality. There are a lot of places to get t-shirts made. Quality and customer service matter and Action has both in spades. I needed quick turnaround on a small batch order and I never felt like I was being shuffled to the bottom of the pile. The staff was proactive about the quality of my art and my choices in color and quality of shirt. How thankful I was to our Yelp community for this tip.. Steve B, you rock. I had a pressing need for some shirts to be done by today. A week ago, I tried several different folks only to find them not available in my time frame, or just not interested in handling my petty little order. I called Action and talked with a gentleman named Chef. He took my information, and I was able to send him my art work by email. They needed a 50% deposit to start the job. Here is where good customer service rocks. He mentioned to me that he could take a credit card, or if I paid cash I would be able to save an additional 2-3% on the credit card charges. Heck! What a deal, I went down to the shop, and gave them a check. The day they were to print my shirts, I got a call because there was a small difference from the shirt I left them to copy. I went down to confirm what I wanted, and they were able to print me a shirt right there to make sure it was what I was looking for.. very cool. I got a small order of 25, their minimum is 24, and they had it ready on Wednesday. That was a 3 day turn around. I wouldn't rely on this turn around, but it just so happened they could do it for me this time. The cost was extremely reasonable compared to what I had quoted from others.. so I am definitely a fan of Action. Great Austin feel and cool folks to work with! read more

I'd love to have a better opinion of this business, because they ARE capable of producing a fine product, in a very short time, however my overall experience with them was not good. I brought them a t-shirt project, which they assured me they could do, and they recommended a discharge ink ( it is more expensive). When I went to see the test shirt, the screen had been made to the wrong size, and placed incorrectly on the shirt. When I asked them to produce what they had promised they were very shifty and attempted to convince me to accept their substitute because it was "easier". They reluctantly agreed to correct the issues. When I went back to pick up my order everything seemed to be right, but after inspecting all of the 100 shirts, I found that 28 of them were unusable. The designs were falling off the edge of the shirt, crooked, or only partially screened. I understand that there will always be a certain amount of loss, but 28% seems high to me. When I returned the rejects they were very snide with me, making a comment of "nice doing business with you" in a tone that did not even slightly mask the sarcasm. They did ask me if I wanted a refund on the rejects or a re-print, but because of the attitude I was getting I asked for a refund, which they told me would be put back on my card. That afternoon I received a call asking if I would buy the rejects for half price. Normally I would understand this line of thinking, scratch and dent sales and all, but I declined, as these shirts serve as a representation of my business, and I have no interest in representing my business as sub-par... again the attitude. I did receive my refund, and I was satisfied with the EXCELLENT 72 shirts I did receive, however after having washed the shirts only twice, the discharge ink they recommended has faded to perhaps half of its original brightness, which is something they failed to warn me about when they were selling the idea of discharge ink to me. best of luck to them.... but they wont be getting my business again. read more
