Susan actually picks up the phone. Alfredo shows up on time. Just with those two things alone, Action would be one of the best sprinkler companies in the Denver suburbs. But they do so much more! We have a really big backyard without having land, about 1/3 of an acre. We had a terrible sprinkler system installed by the previous owner that was truly a joke on covering our grass. A couple years ago, the worst sod company ever (Stay Fresh Lawn Services - never use them), did an absolutely terrible job extending our sprinkler system. Enter Alfredo, our lawn's sprinkler savior. I got three different quotes and plans on how to make our system work with our six zones that actually work. Alfredo's was not only the smartest plan, it was the least disruptive, required the fewest new parts, and it provided efficient coverage of our entire lawn. It was also priced better. About 70% of our lawn used to roast and turn yellow in the summer. With Alfredo's sprinkler design and installation, about 98% of our lawn was green through the whole summer. It was and is unreal. He showed up when he said he would every day, provided realistic expectations, and let me know what he was doing when plans changed or when he thought of a better way to do something. He made the project fun to be a part of, and he takes a lot of pride in doing it right. We found our sprinkler people for as long as Alfredo is a part of Action. We love this business! read more

I called early this week to schedule a sprinkler start up. I was originally told that they were booked out three weeks but then the lady on the phone was able to squeeze me in today (Saturday). Due to a turn of events, I had to work but my wife was able to be home. She reported that the guy who came out was pleasant and friendly. He turned on the valve in the basement and took her to look at the heads in each zone. No problems were reported and he was done in under 20 minutes. The total for this service was 80$ which is around what I remember paying last year. I was pleased with the cost, ease of scheduling, and service. Though this was my first time using this company, if we have any issues with our sprinklers, we will certainly call them again. read more

I initially contacted Action Sprinkler last season when I needed my system winterized from a referral received from Erbert Lawns. They were professional, prompt on their schedule arrival time, and educational as sprinkler systems were new to me. As this spring rolled around, I needed my system turned back on but had also done some landscaping re-configuring so I asked them to come back out for the turn on as well as a quote on getting my system back up in in (proper) working order. I had played with the system multiple times a week last summer, teaching myself on the go, but the previous owners of the house had really did a number on what they THOUGHT was the right way to do things. Long story short, I now have a 16 mo old daughter and would rather spend my time with her and not digging up sprinkler heads for another summer... From scheduling the consultation with Valerie to working with the technician (Alfredo), I felt listens to and my needs were met. The turn on happened, I received a quote, I agreed to the reasonable price for 5 zones of re-configuration, I set up an appointment about 3 weeks later, and Alfredo was there on the date/time promised. I even received a call from Valerie a week out from the appointment to coordinate the 811 call to mark the utility lines and then again the day prior to confirm everything. Alfredo walked me through the entire process, asked any questions I had, helped convert one zone all to drip, and was very enjoyable to work with. I even had a couple questions after he left and still received the answers to my questions. I attempted to deal with two other 'handyman' type services in the past and received a lower grade service compared to what Alfredo provided. I could not be any happier with the service provided, their price, their online payment portal, and their overall friendliness. In today's day and age, customer service is everything and they definitely nailed that one. Now I get to spend more time with my daughter this summer... Thank you!! read more

We used action sprinkler about six weeks ago to repair a non-functioning sprinkler head. We just put down new sod and I hoped the repairs would not tear up my new sod. Or least they would place it back neatly around the new head once the work was complete. I even left an extra bag of topsoil for the tech to fill-in the hole where repairs were made. Needless to say the finished work left much to be desired. Sure, the new sprinkler head worked, but the tech never filled in the hole and the grass was just haphazardly thrown back into place. Action sprinkler sure doesn't care about returning the landscape back to the way they found it. read more

Really great service. The tech came out within the window, first hour of the window. He was super nice and friendly. I inherited a home from my mother when she passed unexpectedly, so the tech came ready to answer any questions I had, showed me how to control the system, told me what I could do myself and what was better for a technician to come out and help with. He also told me what would be worth replacing right now and what I could wait on to save a little extra money. Very professional, asked me if he needed to remove his shoes when walking through the house, courteous, and just an all around great representative for the company. 2 years ago you did a poor job installing my sprinklers and leaving a mess that I had to clean up. I recently noticed the ground compressing in areas. Dug up 2 locations so far and you were 2 for 2 and didn't put a clamp on the feed line elbow. Now I will dig up every sprinkler head and repair another mess left by your company. read more

Previously used them and was satisfied. However, the last time the bill was unreasonably high and they permanently turned off an entire zone without asking. I quit using them for a bit and decided I would give it another try especially since I had a few sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced. But they didn't want to fix my sprinkler heads this year but would winterize my system then come back next year to fix the heads - insuring two separate paying jobs. Apparently they couldn't replace the two heads this year. I guess I will do it myself. They seem more interested in insuring that they have two service jobs here and now versus having a satisfied and lifetime customer. Short sided view. read more

They were a referral by another homeowner in the neighborhood. They called and left voice mail the business day before to confirm appointment and gave us an estimate of 11 am. We called when they weren't there by noon and found out they were just arriving to another site for an emergency call and rescheduled for 4 pm since we had to leave to run an errand. They called 15 minutes prior to arrival and then replaced the leaking drain valve. The repair solved the problem at a fair price. It's convenient that they offer Saturday appointments, however, we had to schedule on a weekday since we were busy the first Saturday available. They only service the SE metro area up to SE Denver. read more
