I've been using this company for years. They installed my whole lawn and sprinkler system. For years I use them for blowouts. The last two years they are scheduling blowouts in the beginning of September, which is still summer! When I try to move it October they are very confrontational. We had a three hour window to have our sprinkler system winterized. They insist you are home the full three hours and do not call before arriving. We rearranged our day to be home for the full three hours so we could have our system winterized before freezing temperatures. They called us 10 minutes before the three hour window ended to say they were having 'mechanical issues' and wouldn't be able to make it. Left us stuck with no options just before a winter freeze, having stayed home all morning to accommodate them. Unreliable and unprofessional, do not recommend. read more

We had this company come out in May and the technician seemed nice. This was for a sprinkler check. I believe this service was advertised for a amount less then $100. We were told we had some drip system heads that needed to be replaced. They changed us $30 per head. These are listed on Home Depot and Lowes for $3!!! I am so sad to have to write this review. I have been with this company for almost 10 years. That means nothing to them now. I have used them for very large and costly projects that have made us quite happy. But now the sprinkler system is leaking after 4 years and cannot be used. I was told they cannot get me in for 8 weeks!!! So I am unable to use the sprinkler system they guarantee. One of the most crucial times of the year to get the lawn healthy. Such a disappointment, Frank. I understand Ray, the best tech EVER, has started his own business. Which is super exciting! Unfortunately, you are all not excited for him seeing as though Debbie will not share his info with me or help me in a direction that would help me. Waited two and half weeks to get a quote. Upon arriving the technician proceeded to provide a quote based on labor and another job he did. The quote of 450 was dropped to 400 due to the technician now having an hour and a half of unoccupied time. With the lack of a pricing guide and the immediacy of quote change based on the customer saying no to the price made the whole transaction feel like I was being taken advantage of. The labor should not be double the price of equipment. A sprinkler manifold does not cost 200 dollars even on the low end as the technician shared. I wasted 75 dollars for him to come out for 15 minutes. I would recommend working with a company that does not charge you 75 dollars for them to come out to then make up the difference when they quote you. Will not ever use this company or recommend and pissed i paid 75 dollars for nothing. Person from company did call and asked if I would be happy with him shredding the check. That's a decision you should make knowing the level of service you provided not offering that and then asking if I understood the 75 fee. Terrible experience. We have been using them last two years and we were happy. However this year the person who showed up (Jacob Marsh or his employee as per invoice)broke our back valve. ( we found out later) . We had appointment for starting the sprinklers in spring. The person showed up 3 hours late after the appointment window. No call, no text about the delay or when to expect. After he came he spent almost 1.5 hours mostly talking over the phone with his boss to figure out the problem. At the end with not much convincing explanation he said we need to replace back valve and sent us quote for almost $900. We did not trust him. So we had another sprinkler guy for repair. He explained so well and showed us the handle that's broken on back valve from the previous person who handled it. Hereplecd it in few minutes. So we have to spent the money for back valve because water solutions technician broke the valve and then quoted us to replace it. Thank god we took time and not gave them business. Don't trust this company and would NOT recommend at all!! Also the lady who handle phone call is very rude if you have a problem with their service. She is only nice if calling to give them business or paying them !! read more

We have been with water solutions for several years and it seems like every year there is an additional fee. We always do blowouts and activation. During today's activation it was found that we needed a back flow thing at the cost of $125. The excuse was it was probably like that before you blew it out. If that is the case wouldn't they have told us at that point, when they blew it our? There are many other places that guarantee their services and take responsibility for the work. Frank's estimate came in somewhere around the middle for our front and back yard to be fully landscaped with a sprinkler system install. This happened 2 years ago and we still use Water Solutions for our annual spring and fall start up and blow out. Frank oversaw our landscaping project and was here helping for the better part of it. He treated his team to lunch (which I understand he typically does and speaks to his character-"he's good people". We had a patio installed and landscaping installed in our rear yard. I was happy with the work on the patio. After they were finished and I asked for them to return and fix a deep depression in the yard. They came an added more soil underneath. It's better but not great. After a few weeks I noticed one head was not putting out enough water and a brown area developed. Frank came by and cranked the pressure up in our basement. When I checked the pressure and let them know it was too high Frank was quick to blame me, my pressure gauge, and my pressure reducing valve. He told me they would come out one more time, but he couldn't keep coming out every time I have a problem. Really?? He is very condescending and has zero customer service skills. read more

We could not be happier with our experience with Frank and Water Solutions. We had a huge deck that we wanted removed as it was warping and cracking and we wanted to replace it with a zero maintenance patio. He suggested a paver patio, recommended a great colored stone that matches the house, and worked with us so we could stay in our budget yet still have a great sized patio. I had a wonderful experience with Frank and his team on a large sod and sprinkler install for our backyard. Frank and team did an amazing rescue job for us today! We called Water Solutions for some puddling in the front yard, which we hoped was a burst irrigation pipe, even though it wasn't where we thought irrigation should be. Instead of being a quick find, dig, and repair, it turned out to be our main line from the well to the house. Even though we started relatively late in the day, Frank called in his squad and dug a 8x8x8' hole in continually collapsing wet soil, found the leaky pipe and spliced it well into the evening so that we could get our mains turned back on. While working, Frank explained everything in great detail, and showed me where some of the previous owners' "hacks" were going to cause problems down the line. Ray came out to activate my sprinklers for the summer. I trusted that he checked to make sure everything was working properly, so I did not think to check. After a few days, we could not figure out why our lawn was dying. We then checked each zone to find we that I could spit further than the sprinklers were reaching. I called to Ray come back as we had paid $135 for this. He returned, turned them on & said "oh, you have no pressure. We need to to place your whole sprinkler system for $3600." He did not even check the sprinkler heads or anything. I asked if he was sure nothing else could be done & he tried to assure me that replacement was our only option. As this did not sound right to me, I then called Lawn Services Sprinkler. They came out & actually checked the system & all we needed was 4 valves replaced. A mere $200 for parts & labor, our sprinklers are now working perfectly with full coverage. DON"T use these guys as they are total SCAM artists!!! read more

This company did a great job with the sprinkler install. There was an issue with the plumbing being cross-connected and the sprinklers were draining our hot water heater. Even though the cross-connection was a result of a previous plumber's work, they spent the time trouble-shooting the issue and ultimately fixed the problem. He replaced a burnt solenoid, dug up and replaced 2 complete heads and replaced probably eight nozzles in about...an hour!!! Price was reasonable enough, and boy it is DONE!!! Far exceeded my expectations! I originally contacted Frank about a sprinkler system for my yard. His was the 3rd estimate I received and he was the most knowledgeable and had the best system at a very competitive price. I also wanted a patio placed over the existing broken concrete and Frank recommended using pavers. They completed this last year and I couldn't be happier. He gave me useful information about my front lawn as well. He kept in contact with me through out the entire job. They do the best work at the cheapest rate. I did not use the good people of Water Solutions Sprinkler Services, but I did meet and speak to them regarding a problem I had with my sprinklers. I called to schedule a time for an initial estimate (more like a first meeting with their techs at your home to discuss your problem) and had a good conversation with the receptionist (I think her name was Pam); side note, they do service Aurora, CO. She was very polite and attentive to my call. I was quite surprised at how fast they were able to schedule the initial meeting; they came by within about 5 days. However, during the weekend that overlapped my call, my original sprinkler guy stopped by to check out my system to make sure that he hadn't made any mistakes previously that caused the problem and then he fixed it. Even though my system was working properly, the techs came by and checked it out at no cost to me. They made some really good recommendations regarding the possible cause for cracks that had developed within a few of my system's pipes. If I hadn't gotten in contact and met up with my regular sprinkler guy, I definitely would have used Water Solutions for the cracks. :-) BK read more
