Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, especially considering the $4,217 I paid for both jobs. Issues Encountered: 1. Poor Customer Service: The rodent treatment included an unexpected $16.83 credit card processing fee, which was not disclosed upfront (the amount of the fee is not the issue as each of the techs for the crawlspace job were given a $40 tip before I realized the job was left incomplete). While agreeing not to charge me the fee on future jobs, Tony called me to chastise me about complaining about the fee when he charges less than his competitors for services provided. How much Tony charges in relation to his competitors is irrelevant to the fact that I was forced to pay an avoidable fee. Tony's response to my concerns regarding the incomplete vapor barrier installation was equally unprofessional and dismissive. 2. Incomplete and Haphazard Work on the crawlspace job: * The job was scheduled from 9am to 6:30pm, but the techs arrived late without notification, and the work was completed after 8pm. * The vapor barrier installation was unprofessional and incomplete, with visible ground, dirt on the barrier, and improperly pinned sections. Trash/debris was left under and on top of the barrier despite a $1,280 charge for trash removal. After sharing photos and videos of the incomplete work, Tony agreed to send someone to finish the job but at the same time made excuses for the techs who started the job. He assured me the vapor barrier would address humidity issues, but when the humidity in my house reached 80%, he suggested contacting a home inspector instead of measuring the crawlspace humidity as promised. Despite paying several thousand dollars, I decided not to pursue the matter further due to the stress involved. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision about Tony's Pest Killers. EDIT to include response to business owner: I have included images of our text conversation about the credit card processing fee. You are lying. You NEVER said your competitors charged $1,000 for the job you did because they don't charge $1,000. You only mentioned that the price was $350 pre-covid. After I thanked you via text I thought that would be the end of the conversation but you called me to chastise me about complaining about the credit card processing fee. Your ease at lying amazes me. As far as the crawl space, you estimated the crawlspace to be 1600 square ft not including the cement blocks. You asked about the old insulation and whether I wanted it thrown out with the rest of the trash before you started the job. I told you I did want it thrown out. I have attached the text exchange. At no point did you say anything about the old insulation not being included in the estimate as you were sure to mention about the trash on the cement blocks not being included in the estimate. You left any trash on the cement blocks because you said that wasn't included. You provided an estimate and then you provided the final invoice, which I paid in full. The fact that you rounded down in estimating does not justify or diminish the fact that you left the job incomplete. I do not owe you "gratitude" (as you suggest in your response) for the cost of doing business. It's bizarre that you think you are doing people a favor by providing service that is incomplete and haphazard. Good customer service goes a long way. No one asked your techs when the job was going to be done every time they emerged from the crawlspace. In fact, they were each given $40 tip ($80 total) when they claimed that the job was complete. I never told you that I preferred white plastic. I sent you an email with a question about the difference between the white and black plastic. Period. Your lies are outrageous and say a lot about your character and how you run your business.

Miss Sandy the CEO called and apologized to me for the unsatisfactory workmanship of the two men that was sent to my home to replace the fallen insulation and or missing sections of our crawl space. I thanked her for taking time out of her busy schedule to respond. She appeared very concerned the job was not done right the first time. and vowed to make amends. She sent the two men's Supervisor Mr. Keenan out to perform a quality check of the work that had been sent to do. When he exited the crawl space,we sat to discus what he observed. He explained the condition the condition it was left it in, and it highly upset him, for they had not done the job satisfactory and he qualified that was not a not a representation of her business practice. She takes pride in her company and likes to have satisfied customers. Mr. Keenan took pictures to show Miss Sandy and guaranteed he would make it right to my satisfaction. We had paid a nice price for a nice job which fell short in every way. Today September 6, two men, Jasen and Alex showed up on time between 8::00 and 9:00 as scheduled, with the proper materials to complete what should have been done by the previous men. He rang my doorbell and introduced himself and stated they were here to restore what was necessary to keep our home cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter and without further a-due went right to work. Now I we are late Senior Citizens, so I could not join them two see what they did, so Jasen provided me with before and after pictures to show a nice view as well as explained what he and his counter partner had done. From those photos, it appeared they had met my satisfaction for a job well done. Before Jasen and Alex left, they cleaned up the area and carried away all the old sagging and deteriorated insulation. In addition Mr. Keene had returned a check Miss Sandy gave him to reimbursed me for the HVAC service done. I had to pay to call a service man to service my AC unit, which he found in excellent working order. I did not expect this, but that showed me she took pride in her company and wanted to make amends. You can read the condition the other two men left the crawl space in in my previous review. I take back my previous unsatisfactory rating of this company and wish to change the overall to five stars. Miss Sandy was very polite with me and it shows she take pride in her company , by the action she took. I also have this company doing my pest control. I also stated the you lady had put poison control boxes in with my food storage cabinets. Miss Sandy explains they were not poison, but contained a sticky substance to capture the insects for coming out again and will be change out quarterly and spray.ed This put my Wife and me at ease. I will be renewing my Pest Control Contract with this company at years end. Therefore, I now recommend this company to all. I have been a customer for many years and in the past impressed with the customer focused response to special customer needs. When I purchased another property in the Bayview area 2 previous GETEM technicians could not get it right. I had numerous "water bugs" (roach like pest) encroaching the interior of the home after multiple treatments. This became intolerable when the Roach like pest were now found in the beds. It was not until a seasoned 20+ year veteran GETEM employee carefully surveyed the home and quickly changed the pesticide approach eliminating any more ROACH like pest in the beds. 2 weeks ago I was offhandedly informed due to "route software" my home would be serviced by a different technician. The uncaring unresponsive "Amy" who manages calls showed no empathy or compassion. She simply showed intolerance to a customer's need to have a seasoned expert to continue servicing the home to prevent ROACHES in the bed. The request to have the seasoned technician continue was not unreasonable given the "route" was adjacent and would not require additional time or expense. The new business model of GETEM is SCREW-THEM (loyal customer). I have moved my pest services to another "family-owned" pest control business who responded within hours and whose service was superior and more affordable. Maybe my $1,000.00 a year residential account is not worth an effort to a corporate greedy company.
