Patrick and his son Pacey came out the same day we called and they also treated immediately. We had just moved to a rental home in the area and we needed immediate pest control. I called and spoke with Heather and she was wonderful. Originally they weren't able to send anyone out until the next week but I told her our situation and she was able to speak with Patrick and he worked us in that afternoon. I like to be well informed about situations and I think that is my favorite thing about this company. He inspected the property, gave his assessment and explained it all very well. I was so comfortable with them that I cancelled the next company I had coming out to give a quote while they were doing an exterior inspection. At the time that service was provided to me by this company, I was renting a home in Virginia Beach. I didn't want to sign a contract because the only problem I was having was with ants. I called with a pest issue and they were able to come over the next day. Our house has been vacant (well contractors are there) for almost six months. Everyone knows a place left vacant can attract mice. Patrick and his partner stopped by and were quick to access the situation (luckily it was not as bad as I had envisioned). They gave us advice on what should do to keep mice out as well as setting traps inside and out of our house. Their professionalism was amazing and they were great to talk too. Had my first ever Pest Control device today. I've lived in my home for 10 years and I'd say this service is much overdue! I used Yelp to find a pest control service and based my search on the top reviews. I messaged 3 businesses with the same info and Old Dominion was the only business that was ready to assist with an appointment and cheapest estimate! Once Patrick (the owner) arrived, I could tell by his friendly demeanor that he was there the assist with my crisis! He immediately asked me to tell him my issues, wanted to see the locations and was genuinely concerned for my unhappiness with situation. I also have 2 boxers and even though there were barking and growling initially as he entered, he did not let that deter him from getting to business. Once he identified my target areas he got right to work using people and animal-friendly chemicals, he started outside and then worked his way inside. He didn't miss a beat looking u see cabinets and behind appliances, even in the garage! He also made sure that my daughter and me were unbothered unless he had a question about the job. Once the job was completed, he went over the areas he sprayed and targeted pests. He also addressed some additional concerns he had that I may want to pursue without any pressuring techniques. Pest control services are quarterly and charges quarterly and anything in between is at no-charge. I must say, I feel like I got extremely lucky! We have quarterly service and annual termite with Old Dominion. I love how easy to schedule service call and they would come back if any other issues like mosquito spray at no additional charge. They were very thorough and explained each and every step of the extermination process as it was being performed. I commented to him my skepticism of the other 5 star reviews he received. By the time they were done, I saw why his company gets such high reviews. I literally felt like they created a force field around my home from further infestation from termites.
