I called a few companies to line up some cleaning and Duane was by far the most comfortable to talk to. No hard sell, up front and straight shooter. We set up a time a few days later and got a call that morning to confirm. A couple hours later I got a call saying he was running a little ahead of schedule and could come over earlier if that was convenient. Are you kidding me?? Come on over! The young man arrived, was very polite, all masked up and we went over what was to be done. I've been in the carpet business my whole life, and these guys are good. I am very pleased with Action Steam Cleaning. Dean was professional and prompt, and I love that he employs technology that lets me know he's on his way, when he is done, etc. I had carpets that had seen a lot of action by various dogs over the past 2 years, including potty accidents (both #1 and #2). There had been little brown spots in places from the #2 accidents. Also, I could feel some kind of residue on the carpets from the last time I borrowed a beefier rug cleaner home version machine from a friend. Action Steam Cleaning did a GREAT job! I came home to carpets that looked a couple of shades lighter (carpets are tan) and I didn't see any little brown spots anymore. Best yet, the funky smell was gone from the house, and the soap from the carpets smelled GREAT! Just as Dean said, the carpets dried in about 4 hours and I was able to move the furniture back into place. I did move all the furniture out of the way myself, the day before the carpet cleaning. Dean also included 2 hallway areas and when I asked him to do a carpet in the kitchen, he didn't blink! He assessed, requoted the price for everything, and I thought it a great value. I didn't want the "cheapest" carpet cleaning, I wanted a thorough cleaning done right the first time, which Dean did! I had a few other offers from other Yelp carpet cleaning services, some very low priced, others about the same as Dean quoted, but I was impressed by the recent positive reviews, which was the main reason I went with Dean and Action Steam Cleaning. Despite a pretty full schedule, Dean put me on his schedule for carpet cleaning pretty quickly, and I'm happy with both the service and the price. I rarely use carpet cleaning services as I'm more of a do-it-you-selfer. I decided to this time just because we had an issue that I didn't think I could resolve (I'll just say my daughter had food poisoning). I was very happy with the response time as well as with ASC's efficiency. They did 3 rooms and our steps.
