Miguel and we were thrilled. She did not get the chance to live in the independent living area as she was admitted to the healthcare center but she loved it. From that first Saturday night we were treated as family. It was still COVID and they had wonderful precautions that always made you feel safe. Momma immediately became part of the community She may not have been able to walk but she had everything else. She joined in the recreations from bingo to "21" to dominoes to singing and telling stories. Everyone knew her. She thrives on making people laugh and the entire staff loves her. Mt Miguel was a true gift to our family. From the CNA's to the kitchen staff to the recreational staff they always made momma feel great. A special shout out to Tom and Olivia who not only always made sure momma was good -they now have become our friends for life. We never wanted to have to admit momma anywhere but it eventually became too much for us to handle. Mt. Miguel saved our family and we will be forever grateful for the care, the love, the compassion and the excellent care she received until the end. I will recommend Mt. Miguel to everyone I know. They truly are the best. Thank you everyone at Mt. Miguel. You are forever in our hearts

My Mother-in-law was a difficult resident due to confusion, combativeness and being confrontational. She was a resident for over 5 years. Wonderful interactive activities and care. The food is great. After another scary fall I knew that living alone was no longer an option. I toured several options and ultimately selected Ramona Senior Manor. When I walked in the front doors I knew this place was different. I saw a care team of loving staff attending to the residents (it was meal time). I met with the admitting staff to review my father's needs, likes and dislikes. He was still in the ER at hospital and the only way he would go was if I forced the issue. I was so upset and worried he would be angry at me and that our relationship would be forever damaged. Jim - went to the ER and talked to my dad about what it would look like for him to stay at "the Manor" to get him stronger. We selected a large room downstairs. The team made sure every request I had was fulfilled (from a small refrigerator to a desk where he could sit and do his "bills". My father thrived at the Manor. To watch him socialize and eat three square meals was so special. He gained weight and talked about how good the food was! He accepted that he was struggling on his own and took advantage of every opportunity to participate in all the activities! My father was inherently a kind gentle and lovely human. We got to see the best of him come out again when he finally accepted the help he so desperately needed. My father ended up going on hospice care after a month at the Manor. He did not want anymore hospital visits. Ramona Senior Manor works in conjunction with Hospice provider we selected (Radiant Hospice) to have a continuous care team making each day the best possible! My father made his transition on December 28, 2024. He had been a resident since November 17, 2023 and on Hospice services since December 2023. To every single human from the chef to the janitor and each and every person who showered him with kindness and care we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love all of you. The family of Robert "Lynn" Bennett. October 14,1934 - December 28, 2024.

I immediately noticed the difference in the caregivers' approach to providing intimate care. As opposed to viewing the work as a task that needed to be done and putting on blinders to the feelings of the person being assisted, as is very common at most facilities, at P & P Homes my mom was listened to and treated with patience and empathy. The caregivers are so kind to my mother and communicate well with me. This is not easy work, and they do it well. The caregivers are evidently carefully selected. I can see that my mother feels safe and cared for. Because P & P Homes is small, the caregivers get to know the residents well. This is a real benefit. The residents also enjoy home-cooked meals. Administration is easily reached and very responsive. Paulo, the owner of the house on Jouglard Street where my mom resides, lives upstairs with his wife and adorable daughter. I would highly recommend P & P Homes if you have a vulnerable loved one who needs care. It is a gift to have my mom in trustworthy hands.

Searching and not finding an adequate place (20 till then) that I knew he/we would be comfortable with, thankfully The House of Grace was the next and immediately it blew out any other facility by far. The road access to the home, cleanliness, size of the rooms hallway, bathroom setup and the warmth of the staff jumps right at you. It was a yes for us the first few minutes. After my step-dad moved in, very quickly did we know it was 100% the right atmosphere for him with the staff being as professional and caring as they are that yes, he felt safe and trusted the staff. He had less than a year of life at the facility and what stuck me is that the staff really felt the loss of my step-dad.
