Mike answered the phone on the first ring and was fantastic with communication. He gave me his cell phone number so I could text him pictures of the plumbing set up at my home. Mike's employee, Julian, showed up right at the scheduled time of 8 am and was wearing a mask, which I appreciate. Julian was friendly, polite, organized, and efficient. I felt comfortable having him work at my house. The price was reasonable and they gave us a 10% discount for paying in cash. I like it when businesses do that. Julian did a nice job. So I decided to get in contact with yelp before it got any worse. Out of all of the plumbers sent to me It seemed that Joe from Joe Newton plumbing was the only one that responded to my inquiry, due to the urgency of the situation i hired him for the job. I wasn't aware of this at the time but uppon further investigation we leaned that the water was coming in from a split under the cast iron elbow pipe in the wall connected to the drainage outback also he saw that the water meters couplings were leaking as well, so he suggested to get that fix too and to add another shut-off valve in case of an emergency. Ths cost was a bit high but Joe was nice enough discount the job a bit for me. Yet, totally with it to resolve an issue suck as a flooded basement that would cost thousands if not taken care of. We schedule a time and day and he ​replaced the split pipe and installed a new PVC 90°connection aside from the ugly cement work on the wall at least it doesn't leak any more, he installed the three new shot off valves i requested and fixed the water meters issue. Hopfully it won't leaking againg out of the blue. I recommend Joe Newton plumbing to anyone who's in need of some plumbing issue.

I found Jon here on Yelp and called to see if he was interested in replacing my water softener and installing a rather large whole-house carbon filter. He asked me to email him the link to carbon filter I was considering, to get the ball rolling, and then he responded telling me the filter was appropriate so I could order it online. He scheduled an appointment for an estimate and then to complete the work, both in a timely manner. He gave me an estimate of time and his hourly rate which was very fair. I was impressed with the design of the brass pipes he built to my filter and then to my softener. He mounted the filter in a position so that it will be easy to replace the cartridge, and I am sure planned it that way. He also quickly fixed a leak in the basement sink faucet and installed a new faucet/drain in the bathroom. Jon is humble but confident, the type of confidence that can only come from having the proper education and experience. They called an hvac company out of the phone book who didn't send a technician, but a slick salesman instead. This guy convinced them to sign a contract for a $17,000.00 new AC system. After they signed the contract he told them they'd have to wait three days for the system to arrive and be installed. They called me very upset and concerned.
