The AO hand center nurse, Sabrina Gomez, also does good work, putting in that little extra effort that is often needed in navigating the whole health (and insurance) process. Front office staff, good work, suggest offering more approachability. Harold Neuendorff is one of the best OTs in my opinion. He is experienced, knowledgeable, and he cares. Hands-down, get him as your OT if you can. Paloma is a newer OT there and she is really good also. I have developed a chronic stiffness problem due to overly happy scar tissue inside my hand, fingers and wrist. I go to therapy twice a week and do exercises on my own three times a day. Harold and Paloma provide expert exercising of my fingers and wrist and are always encouraging regarding my slow but steady progress. Thank you!

Given a business card to call 'Stephanie' to schedule surgery. Called and left VM and the call was never returned. NEVER! Later, called to speak with someone to schedule surgery and they never picked up the phone. 'You are number 1 in the queue...' Nope, no one picked up. EVER! That did it. I'm done.

The hospital tried to kick me out of OR unless I paid $7500 in cash or debit. One call to Dr. Biama and within 30 minutes they called back apologizing and asking for a much smaller amount which I could cover. I had the surgery & he met with my support group in the recovery room. He wanted to work with them to handle my outpatient recovery b/c he didn't think there were rehab facilities suitable in my area. He followed up with my case even consulted with my PTs twice a week on my long road back. My only issue with him is the long waits in his office which was hard b/c I had to go to Redlands and that was hard on my crew but otherwise he was amazing. Even talked me down in my first post surgical appointment to get my stitches removed and I had a meltdown. He actually talked me down from that.and I felt better. He's one of a kind as far as I'm concerned.

I asked for a doctor's note to excuse me from work for the next two days while I recover from my back injury. I was told the doctor was at lunch and assured that the note would be emailed to me. Three hours later, I still hadn't received anything, so I called to follow up. Again, I was told it would be sent shortly. Ironically, about a minute after that call, I received an email -- but it wasn't my doctor's note. It was a survey asking me to rate my experience. That pretty much summed up my experience. The lack of professionalism, communication, and follow-through from the front desk was extremely disappointing. When someone is injured and relying on your office for documentation needed for work, they shouldn't have to repeatedly chase it down. The doctor himself was great, which is unfortunate because the front desk experience is the reason I rated my visit a 1. At this point, I'm not even sure I'll return for my follow-up appointment and may choose to continue my care somewhere else.

The 1st one was TNHHS Team Nurses Home Health Services, Inc. They gave me the runaround on the phone all day Monday & Tuesday no one ever called me to schedule my wound care or PT. By end of day on Tuesday I called my primary doctor office to get a new referral for home support. Wednesday morning I called the new referral authorization they said they did not have the authorization yet even though I gave them the number. I destiny home health.com/ waited 5 hours & called back still they had not received authorization. I call my medical center back ask them to fax it to Destiny home, I waited 20 minutes & called them back to see if the received the authorization and believe it or she then told me they don't have staff to cover & was rerouting my authorization back to my pro. All these purr fits are so unprofessional unbelievable. Not even my dr will reach out to to assist. SAD PART IS IM AFRAID OF NOT PROPERLY HEALING BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PT EXERCISES I NEED TO START ON MYSELF.
