I may not feel ten pounds lighter, but I do feel ten years younger. No more soreness, no more pain - all within an hour! ------ Having recently moved to Pasadena, I was on the lookout for new communities and services. One of those included massage therapy and personal trainers, and within that realm I discovered Stretch Therapy which led to Dan's website. However, with the most recent review from almost a year ago, I was worried that it may have closed down or moved locations. After two weeks of quick text messages, I finally called Dan, and I was glad that he picked up. I could tell from the beginning that time was valuable, and that he was quality. (Of course, there are other reviews to back that up.) We scheduled a session for later that week. During my visit, I explained all my goals and problems since the COVID years, and one of those was stiffness in my body. Fortunately, his assessment of me was that I was more flexible than average and that it wasn't a concern. What concerned me though was my back, and within a one hour session, his years of expertise and practice made my back like new. From the shoulders to the middle and lower back, I felt years of aches and tension leave my body almost instantly. Throughout our session, he consistently asked for my feedback to see if I had any additional areas of aches or pains, and treated them almost immediately. In addition to the session, Dan is easy to chat with and also offered me life advice and motivation to start working towards my goals rather than thinking about them. I am 53 years old and started training with Dan after my bulging disc C5 and C6 inflammation calms down. A year and a half, I lost 29lbs . I don't know how I did it but I did it. Dan guide me thru and his constant nagging and reminders was a big help!! I know I can't do it by on my own. He takes his time and doesn't just try to get your money. I've always had neck and shoulder pain because of work and my bad posture. Gotten massages, been to the chiropractor, but they were all temporary fix. Getting stretched by Dan was amazing, but definitely not a one-time thing. Best experience ever! As I work on the desk every day I find that my neck and lower back have been inflexible. I looked up therapy on Yelp and came by stretch therapy Monrovia. I was a little reluctant to call because I had no idea what this kind of therapy was. But my pain was more than I could take, so I gave this place a call.. I'm so glad I did! Dan was very helpful and he explained everything so I could be a little more educated about the process. We did some back and neck exercises to help strengthen my muscles. I found stretch therapy Monrovia on yelp. I was reluctant to call, but while talking to Dan, he was reassuring as he went through our initial conversation. I went in with hip pain from a car accident and after three months, Dan was able to help me with my muscle compensation from my hip and back. He is very knowledgeable as a therapist and comforting to work with. He was able to help me build a stretch routine that would compensate for my injury. I was referred by a friend since my friend kept raving about how much they helped him feel better. This review is for the hubs since he doesn't have an account for yelp. My hubs has a really bad back problem and going into a chiropractor did not help him as much. Coming here I realized how everyone is so professional. They staffs were very friendly and greeted us right away and made us feel comfortable not only that the environment was clean. The person who helped us even went to the extent to sit down with us and explained the whole process just for some peace in mind which was so kind of him. For those who don't know the difference chiro is more with working with the spine while stretch therapy they work with the whole shabang! Dan was a great trainer. He can be a friend but also a hard ass couch when needed. For a year I saw him twice a week. I was able to go from 150lbs to 132 lbs. May not seem like a lot but I still ate whatver I wanted to his disappointment. He knew how to motivate me to keep moving even though I'd feel like I can't anymore. He pushed me also to try new exercises. I never thought I would enjoy lifting. I've always just ran. He actually watches your form to prevent you from hurting yourself. I started seeing Dan two years ago when I was getting serious about my exercise regimen. I was doing HIIT and seeing a personal trainer 3-4 times a week.
