Since February/March of this year my shoulder issues went from random pain to full blown forzen shoulder. After their assessment, I had an EMTT and Shockwave initial session that offered a free one-hour Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. From the initial improvement I experienced I signed up to their package deal where I get both ShockWave and EMTT regenative therapy. My range of motion has improved greatly and the immense pain has significantly reduced. I have two more therapy sessions left. You have nothing to lose to check them out and if you do take the package deal, do not forget to do the exercises suggested if you want to improve. The EMTT and Shockwave help; BUT do your exercises and PT at home.

Cheri came highly recommended and it was clear from our first session that she really takes the time to figure out and understand what my body was doing and why I was experience the pain that I was feeling. She took the time to evaluate how my whole body was moving and identified several body mechanic and movement issues that were contributing to the problem. We started off with basic exercises that set the stage for more complex ones as I progressed. HealthFit has systems in place to make sure that when you're at home doing your exercises, you have video references with detailed explanations on how to do each exercise properly. After each week, little by little, things started to change. And then there came that moment when everything clicked and started to change! I've noticed a huge improvement not only in pain reduction, but also in my overall stability, balance, and strength. Cheri has given me the tools to break my body's bad habits. I highly recommend working with Cheri to anyone dealing with chronic pain, movement issues, or sports-related injuries. Cheri is thoughtful, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about helping her patients improve long term.

From the very beginning, Dr. Chan was professional, thorough, and incredibly honest. She gave me a fair warning that it could take 3-5 months to see results, which at first felt discouraging--but I appreciated her transparency. She carefully assessed my condition, explained exactly what was happening, and laid out a treatment plan that was realistic and tailored to me. It's been about 4 months now, and I am completely pain-free! I was initially skeptical--what could physical therapy really do when the pain was this severe? But the results speak for themselves. My arm is fully functional again, and I've been able to get back to activities I love, including pickleball and other racquet sports. Dr. Chan's approach is thoughtful, personalized, and effective. She listens, understands, and genuinely cares about her patients' progress. I can't recommend her enough to anyone struggling with pain or injury. If you're looking for a physical therapist who delivers real results and restores your confidence in your body, Dr. Beth Chan is the one to see

I'm relatively new to CrossFit, but enjoyed the fast paced workouts, the push of wanting to become stronger and faster, and the amazing people I've met from the gym. Unfortunately with the excitement, I ended up hurting my lower back pretty badly where the pain was so intense that I couldn't be seated comfortably for long periods of time nor could I get in and out of a car/get out of bed without excruciating pain. I wasn't sure what to do - the pain was so bad and affecting my work and overall mental health. That's where Reason Physio came in. Both Dr. Beth and Dr. Josh are certified and licensed physical therapists who specialize in providing PT in order to solve the pain and allow the individual to be able to pursue his/her version of a healthy lifestyle. I worked with Dr. Beth on finding out the location of my injury, what movements aggravated it, and how I could strengthen the muscles/body parts surrounding it to eventually heal the pain. I was given exercises and homework to complete on my own, which honestly helped a ton. I worked with Dr. Beth for about once a month until the injury disappeared. I was able to do those movements again, but now I had more knowledge of what I needed to do to prevent future injury. I was able to graduate from PT until I had another injury where I ended up reaching out to Dr. Beth again. I'm now injury free (and hopefully will stay that way) but wanted to reiterate how amazing it is to work with someone who not only understands why I am having pain, but also how I can overcome the pain and get back to what I physically want to do. If you're ever feeling pain and not sure what to do or where to go, definitely reach out to Reason Physio! Incredibly thankful for this team and their outstanding service for the community.

It took some time but it is all worthwhile because it is for my health. Everyone in the office, from administrative staff to the therapists, was very friendly and helpful. All the therapists were knowledgeable and very patient. The massage that they did was crucial and helpful as part of the healing journey. I had experience in a couple of other places before I came to B&C, and B&C has been the best & would wholeheartedly recommend this facility.

The clinic has a small gym upfront with treatment tables in the back. Super convenient location in Alhambra with a 4-hr free parking garage. B&C PT is extremely popular and books out weeks in advance. I had to wait ~3-4 weeks for my initial appt, and had to book all my subsequent appts following my first visit to secure dates/times. I work primarily with Ching Ly (the C of B&C lol) and he's super down to earth. He did a comprehensive exam of my neck, measured my neck movements with a goniometer, and confirmed if it was a joint or muscle issue. I've seen several PTs, but no one was as thorough as Ching in trying to figure out the root cause. My treatment plan is pretty straightforward - Managing neck pain with manual therapy, at-home workouts, and then more workouts to strengthen neck, shoulder, and back muscles. If I had to nitpick then it would be the super tedious process of booking upcoming appointments with the front desk receptionist. Nothing PT related. Highly recommend B&C PT! I hope to be free of this annoying pain by the end of my sessions.
