Kathryn is ABLE!! She brings music, a table, blankets, and bolsters for under knee or under the neck. She is really incredible and strong. I needed a very deep tissue massage because of the tension and spasms in my back. Kathryn was able to reach into all of the spasms and or knots in my upper and mid-back. She was able to release all the tension and pain that was there. I was completely relaxed and much more flexible after she was done. Most people choose to have massages just to relax. I needed and received a massage that was good for my health because of her ability to get my blood flowing. Particularly in my legs and feet that are generally very cold. I had one of the best massages of my life. It is very clear that Kathryn is very well trained, extremely professional, highly competent and an honest and fair and fun person. I've gone to see Nick Olow several times over the last 8 years, so he was the first person on my mind to reach out to last Monday when I developed Bell's Palsy on the right side of my face. I reached out to him right away and he was able to see me on Tuesday to start treatment. He remembered me and my husband, and did a full assessment of my pain (neck compression, behind the ear, jaw, general pulling/tightness, shoulders) and my symptoms, tongue numbness, loss of muscle control, loss of sense of taste/smell. From the first treatment I felt warmth, tingling, openness, and sensations of the nerves trying to get through. Most important part of the treatments is that it stimulate tear production!!! So I really didn't have to rely on artificial tear drops as much or for as long as I had feared. In addition, from the first treatment, I felt nerve sensation that started localized to my right check, jaw, twinges on my eye, and each subsequent treatment I could feel the activation, the energy, the warmth, and the muscles pulling, responding more broadly. In addition to providing excellent acupuncture treatment, Nick showed Erik how to continue treating my Bell's Palsy using acupressure at home in-between our sessions to increase the effects. He also took the time to share how this condition is explained by Chinese Medicine, and gave me practical suggestions to support my healing and my body's need to "drain damp" If you're looking for a someone you can trust with your health and wellbeing, look no further. If they couldn't figure it out, they could have and should have called the insurance and sorted it out before I got there for my appointment insteas of tryinf to figure it out while.i was there. What is the point of making me provide the insurance prior to the appointment if you arent going to figure it out until I am sitting in the waiting room. I work in the medical field and had to regularly call insurances for billing issues for years. I currently work for an insurance company in the medical field so I know how these things work

I was just sorta left for I'm assuming was 30 minutes? There's no clocks so I lost track of time. Next few times I came, I was prepared to do some meditation on my own and really focus on my thoughts, breathing and healing. I have pretty decent insurance and so it only came out to about 20 bucks per session and at that price, it goes from a 3 star review to a 4 star. But without that, I could easily rate this a 3 star place. I'll be coming back for sure though. Every where else seems to have a wait list or they aren't as nice. Everyone is super nice. It was highly frustrating and painful to be sidelined for several weeks from my normal activities, with little noticeable progress healing and, as a bonus, a handful of secondary problems piling up from disuse. On a recommendation from a friend, I visited Lucky Tiger. I was very impressed with Dr. Ciara's diagnostic skills as she quickly pinpointed the afflicted area and went to work with a regimen of acupuncture and moxibustion to stimulate the injured tendon and improve natural healing. By the end of the first session, my injury had made its first significant improvement. That progress made me a regular patient. Over the next few visits the injury healed up and the secondary issues began to clear as well. Now that I've regained my higher level of activity, I finally feel like my old self.
