We have seen a huge improvement in our beloved furry friend since Dr. Magda Massicotte has been treating him. Our 9 year old chocolate lab could barely walk and never get up on his own before Dr. Massicotte started treating him. After just a couple treatments, he can walk around the block and get up on his own! The difference that we've seen is absolutely amazing! One of the main reasons we picked Dr. Massicotte to treat our dog is because she comes to the home. Our dog is 110 pounds and without mobility it was very challenging to get him to the vet. Dr. Massicotte is very professional and brings a mat for my dog to lay on during treatment and treats him in the comfort of our living room. I can't really say enough about the acupuncture treatment. It really has made 100% improvement in our dog's quality-of-life.

His eye that he could not open almost at all two weeks ago after his second visit with Dr Massicotte.

I have a chameleon named Horacio. I adopted him almost three years ago. He stopped eating on his own about three months ago and his eyes were crusted shut. I tried antibiotic injections, force feeding him prescription food and medications, along with different medicated eye drops;but he still wasn't improving. I had seen Dr Massicotte years ago with my cat Yogi- who she helped greatly with acupuncture. So instead of euthanizing my chameleon, I asked her if she could try to help him. After one treatment of acupuncture and laser therapy- the better of his two eyes opened up a couple of days later and he had more energy. He still wasn't going to the bathroom or eating on his own. After his second visit with Dr Massicotte- he finally pooped after at least two months! (I never thought I would be so happy about chameleon poop) And that day he also ate worms all by himself, for the first time in months. I didn't want to get my hopes up but it has been a week that he has been eating and drinking daily, moving around a lot, and back to his crabby old self! I am so grateful for Dr Massicotte and her knowledge with alternative therapeutic options to help all kinds of pets.

Luke's 1st acupuncture session with Dr. Massicotte!

Dr. Massicotte saved my dachshund from undergoing an $8000 surgery! She helped heal his back injury with acupuncture treatments allowing him to walk again in less than 2 weeks/4 treatments! Luke injured his back by attempting to jump up onto my sofa. The next morning, he was unable to use his back legs. We visited my vet and he recommended surgery as the only option to help Luke walk again., along with a heavy round of steroids, muscle relaxers and pain meds. The following day we visited the neurologist who also pushed for surgery and saying this was Luke's only shot at having mobility again. My intuition was telling me this was not the only option and so I decided to try acupuncture. After personally experiencing transformative healing with acupuncture treatments for my back, I had faith that it could work for Luke as well. I found Dr. Massicotte and called her on Friday afternoon (2 days after Luke's injury). Although she doesn't typically doesn't treat patients on the weekends, she welcomed us to her home office on Saturday to get us started on Luke's healing journey. The level of care that she has provided Luke is remarkable. She spent 2 hours on our initial visit really taking the time to understand Luke's life from his birth leading up to his injury. I immediately felt like Luke was in great hands with someone that wanted to help him heal as much as I did. I noticed results the next morning when he surprised me by walking into the kitchen! Before the acupuncture treatment, he couldn't put any weight on his back legs and both vets said he wouldn't walk without surgery. Our 2nd treatment was on Monday and again I noticed results the very next day. His legs were regaining strength and mobility and he was able to walk a longer distance without stopping to sit. We've had 2 more treatments and he is walking more and more every day! I've really enjoyed watching his progress and learning so much from Dr. Massicotte about how to continue helping Luke live a healthy, happy life!

Dr. Massicotte has worked wonders on my 13 year old terrier. My little fur baby has 6 compressed spinal discs, arthritis, a liver condition and a heart murmur. Working with acupuncture has enabled my fur baby to regain a pain-free quality of life and put pep back into her step -- and all without pharmaceuticals! The fact that Dr. Massicotte has a long veterinarian background gives me added confidence in her expertise and abilities. Truly thankful that we received this referral! Would highly recommend, and actually have recommended, AcuPetAZ to anyone considering acupuncture for their pet. It works!

This is Taffy. Thank you Dr. Massicotte!!

My husband and I have been fostering a dog named Taffy, a beautiful Red Heeler Cattle Dog/Yellow Lab mix who is between 8-10 years old. When she first arrived to us, she was in bad condition. She was dirty with over 50 ticks, old bites and had not been walked in months, probably years. After we cleaned her up and changed her diet, we began walking her. She seemed very stiff and uncomfortable and could barely make it down the street. At one point, she pulled a leg muscle and couldn't walk. I feared nobody would adopt her because of this. I thought we may have to put her down if she didn't start to walk again. I also knew that pain medication was not the only answer to her arthritic condition and recent pulled muscle, so I decided to research vets that treat with acupuncture. I came across Dr. Massicotte, and I am so incredibly thankful that I did. After only three treatments, and her suggested supplements, we saw a whole New Taffy! She has been walking about a mile and a half every day and her energy level has shifted completely- very energetic. Dr. Massicotte has a wonderful, nurturing bedside manner and gentle touch. Taffy really took to her and LOVED her appointments, and so did I! I found out Dr. Massicotte has a mobile service and I think that is so helpful, especially with larger dogs who can't get around as easily. I highly recommend Dr. Massicotte and will be using her for general maintenance with my own pets in the future. PS. Taffy recently found a forever home!

    Acupuncture for our dog Max

Our dog Max has a herniated disc in his lower back which has caused him to become paralyzed. Our vet prescribed him steroids which has helped some but we are pursuing all avenues of treatment to help him heal and be comfortable as much as possible. I can not rave about Acupuncture for Pets in Arizona enough. Maggie takes her time to evaluate your pet and look at their entire health history from a holistic whole health perspective. She has such a calm demeanor and our dog Max didn't flinch once while the needles were inserted. Thank you Maggie for helping to lessen Max's pain, inflammation and loving on him with lots of scratches and snacks! After the procedure was over Max was so calm and in a better state. We will continue to see Maggie because we know she made a difference. Thank you Maggie!

    Vixen

Dr Massicotte is amazing. Our Boston Terrier Vixen had significant pain after what we assumed was IVDD. After 5-6 weeks of crate rest and lots of medications, we didn't see any improvement. We were referred to Dr Massicotte for acupuncture. Not having any experience with this treatment, I was open to anything (other than surgery) that would help Vixen return to her active life. Only 48H after her first treatment the pain completely disappeared! We just finished the 3rd treatment and she is now off all meds and has a green light for her most favorite summer activity- swimming! We can't thank Dr Massicotte enough!!!!

The owner quoted me $210 for my dog Zeke, stating that was the price for a dog over 50lb. My dog Zeke is an Australian Shepherd mix weighing 62lb as of his last vet visit on 3-20-25. A few days before the appt, Lugari confirmed the price but said it would be $218 with a card. When I brought him in for the cleaning, a woman from Healing Wise greeted us and took him to the back for his preliminary exam, and she quickly brought him out to say there would be ANOTHER added charge, because he "weighed over 70lb." She claimed he weighed 72lb, and my jaw dropped. I said that's impossible, because the vet said he was only 62lb a few weeks earlier at the vet. There was no way a healthy dog his size could gain 10lb in just a few weeks. She argued with me, so I asked to see the scale. She brought it out and put it down, then put my dog Zeke on the scale, which continually flickered without ever settling on a number. I saw the numbers ranging from 68 to 70.1lb, and then it said 35lb, so they claimed it was invalid, but each time they tried to get a reading. it continued flickering. She kept telling Zeke, "no cheating," but the scale obviously did not work. I asked why it never stopped flickering, and they said it was because he was breathing, however it did the same thing with the receptionist standing on it. The dental lady had the gall to deny service to Zeke at the agreedupon price, and she said that I could bring him back after he had lost half a pound. Ridiculous and extremely unprofessional! It was clearly a faulty scale, and they are running a shady operation, scamming people for a few extra dollars! Why on earth would it be more difficult to clean the teeth of a dog weighing half a pound more, even if that was his true weight? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SCAMMERS!

My boys (doodles ages 4 and 6) have never had their teeth cleaned and my vet (whom I love) has said the older one would probably need a cleaning this year. I've been dreading it- nervous anytime they "go under". Both boys had some serious gunk on their teeth and their breath is less than fresh. I went to book their teeth cleaning appointments online and found that Dr. Jacquie and her team actually travel around the Valley putting on teeth cleaning clinics at vet offices and groomers... and they would be right down the street from me the next week (what luck!). I easily booked the appointments online and was able to schedule them for the same time. We arrived a few minutes early and I filled out some forms. Dr. Jacquie came to introduce herself and took the younger one back. After a few minutes she came back to share he was a candidate for cleaning and took the older one back too. I left to take a quick meeting at home and hurried back. Right as I pulled up they sent before + after pics of the younger one... MAGIC. So incredible what they were able to do! They brought him out to me shortly after I arrived and the older one wrapped up his cleaning shortly after. His teeth are DIR.TY. I cannot believe how incredible they look now. Our total was $360 before tip which is less than the vet (and anesthesia). A huge thank you to Dr. Jacquie and team for the great work and taking such great care of Nolan and Todd!

The medication was helping, but it made him extra hungry, extra thirsty, band after a few week not much improvement. When it wore off he was in pain again. I wanted more for him and a better quality of life. It has been a week since his first adjustment with Dr. Kennedy and he is no longer walking arched in pain, and is no longer taking medication. The rescue owner that I volunteered with - who was a Shih Tzu rescue - agreed with County that he should be euthanized without ever meeting him. His name became Farley .. and the rest is history. Kelly worked with Farley through his health issues .. specifically cancer. And she gave him the fantastic life he deserved. She researched all his care options. Provided him with life saving treatment. She also has a few other "special needs" dogs. I followed Farley Shih Tzu Warrior and then Kelly's Farley Green Paw page and her wealth of knowledge and experience in the use of CBD/THC products. When my Lhasa Apso JoeJoe had a brief seizure out of the blue and then a second one several weeks later, I reached out to Kelly after he had been to the Veterinarian and everything checked out as normal. Kelly responded back and we set up an appt time for a phone consultation. I gave her a bit of history on my JoeJoe and after a very knowledgeable and thorough explanation of the products and what they can do, her advice was to start JoeJoe on a CBD full spectum oil. I made the purchase online through her PayPal site and it was very easy. The product was sent right out and Joe began his treatment. He has had just one brief seizure since starting it in April 2020. The dose for him is 6 drops twice a day. Its an oil in a dropper and easy to administer. He sees me shake the bottle and as I come over to him, he lays on his side and wags his tail so I can drop into his mouth. Joe was an abused and neglected dog when his owner surrendered him. He had trust issues to say the least - especially with men and other dogs. He is such a great little man now that he is living the life he deserved with us but I feel he has become more laid back and even silly with this product and will be forever a grateful client. I highly recommend that you take advantage of Kelly's wealth of knowledge and experience in conjunction with your Veterinarian.
