Dr Georgi and her team were excellent and made this such a positive experience!! Our senior dog had been in and out of our primary and emergency vet a few times with funky symptoms, and they recommended MedVet for an echocardiogram. MedVet called the morning of our appointment to get a history, gave me pricing over the phone, and were able to move his appointment earlier in the day. During our appointment, Dr. Georgi did a more comprehensive physical exam and noted some pain responses that previous vet visits had not, and was very thorough in her explanation of findings. She also consulted with other vets in the valley since our guy seems to be such a conundrum and followed up with a phone call later in the week. Yesterday afternoon my 150+ lb Saint Bernard began head tilting and violently shaking his head. It was a bit too late to see my regular Vet, so rushed him to Med Vet, which I had never used before, but they were the closest. Dr Wells and the entire staff treated us with respect, compassion and caring as well as my boy who had somehow gotten foxtails deep in both ears. After a brief stay, my boy came home and this morning he's running around like nothing happened. While ER Vet visits are never cheap, the whole experience was far batter than I had imagined. We were recommended to come here by our primary vet (PetFolk) because our cat has a hernia in her diaphragm. We have visited the cardio and surgery departments and both of them have been absolutely amazing with our cat Fern. Our cat usually doesn't do great at the vet, but it is completely different here. They definitely make it a priority to make them feel safe. All of the people who work here are so kind and genuinely care about your pet like it's their own. Today we visited cardio with Dr. Maki and there were only 2 chairs in the room, instead of taking one of our chairs she sat on the floor and played with our cat while walking us through what she found in her heart scan. That is just one of those kind gestures that make situations like these less stressful then they already are. This is an amazing place to treat sick or injured pets. Everyone we encountered was kind, compassionate and extremely well trained. We were referred here by our regular Veterinarian to treat our dog's bladder stones. Our Veterinarian supplied the x-rays and test results to Dr. Jean Acuña, DVM/Surgeon. We scheduled a consultation where she went over the procedure in detail, then, answered our questions. The surgery was scheduled for the next morning. When we arrived we were introduced to Ashley, Dr. Acuna's surgery tech. She was so caring and immediately bonded with our dog. She took her back, explaining that they would text us when she went into surgery. Dr. Acuña called upon completion of the surgery, explaining how everything went. They would keep her overnight to make sure she handled the recovery and anesthesia went well. She would call the next day to arrange a pickup time, but, we would be called if there were any concerns during the night. The next day, Dr. Acuna called to relay that all went well, and, we could pick her up after 2 pm. When we arrived, Ashley had our discharge instructions and meds ready. They all did an outstanding job and I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more

Brought our new rescue dog in the middle of the night on Sunday. He was vomiting and coughing every two hours which started to concern us. We called to make sure that we'd be able to bring him in and the lady (Nicole) on the phone was super pleasant! She also met us at the door and promptly escorted us into a room. She handled the initial intake then the vet came in to do a thorough check up. They didn't find anything obvious but gave us plenty of options as to how we wanted to proceed. We chose to start with meds and see how he responded to them. The next day we received a follow up call from a very friendly gentleman to see how our guy was progressing. Overall, we both felt that they cared about us and the outcome and will definitely consider them in the future (well....hoping no more late night emergencies). We went to medvet because on the same day we had been waiting 3 hours to see an emergency vet to make sure my furbaby had not injured her hind legs. I called around for her to see another vet and was pleasantly surprised that we could get into medvets without a wait. They took my furbaby right away and were able to tell us right away what the problem was. The staff from the front desk was compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. I also found out they provide other services. I will be recommending this place to my veterinarian and to my friends, the were awesome!! read more
