The Japanese garden has a pagoda next to a small pond with koi fish and ducks. This is such a tranquil garden. It's small but it's free. There no changing station for baby here so be aware but the bathroom is walking up past the parking lot to the left. This garden is very beautiful especially on a nice day. We came on a sunny day and it was kind of hot so we didn't stay long. The small waterfall, pond area and the water fountain on the bottom is very nice. A lot of the flowers weren't blooming yet so we didn't get to see a lot of them. The best thing about this garden is that you can just walk in from the street because it's open to the public free of charge. There are rules that people have to follow but they have a little picnic area inside as well. The gazebo in the middle of the garden I think can be use for special occasions.

It feels peaceful, well cared for, and instantly calming the moment you walk in. There is a small $5 admission fee, which honestly feels completely worth it, especially because it clearly helps keep the grounds so clean, beautiful, and well maintained. I brought my parents here while they were visiting, and they absolutely loved it. If you're lucky enough to visit during the right season, you may even catch the cherry blossoms, which make the whole experience even more special. There is also plenty of parking on site, which makes visiting easy. One thing to keep in mind is that they are closed on Sundays. Also, if you have extra time, Sepulveda Basin Lake is nearby and worth checking out as well. A lovely, serene spot that feels like a hidden gem in the Valley.

I went on a weekday afternoon and it was super quiet, which made it even better for just slowing down and wandering. There are plenty of benches to sit and take it all in, and the sound of the water alone is enough to lower your blood pressure. It's not huge, but that's part of the charm. You can take your time and really appreciate the details without feeling rushed. I also appreciated how clean everything was and you can tell they put a lot of care into maintaining the space.

My husband and I attended a private class where Esther guided us through making three bowls each from scratch. She patiently explained the process and worked closely with each of us to mold ours. The location is in a quiet neighborhood in Thousand Oaks and love that they have clearly marked parking in front. This is a great experience if you just want to try something new, have a date night or for a girls night out. I had so much fun and can't wait to go back to try again!

From the moment I walked in, I felt both completely welcomed and quietly inspired. The space is beautiful and unpretentious, and the energy is something special, grounded, artistic, and full of heart. Esther and her husband (the dream team behind it all) are such gems. Down-to-earth, kind, and truly invested in making sure everyone learns and creates something meaningful. The class was hands-on in the best way. I got to really do the work, but with expert, patient guidance. I learned more than I ever expected to and left each session feeling so deeply revived. I actually looked forward to every class like it was a treat, and I almost cried when it ended. That's how impactful and soul-nourishing it was. I'll absolutely be signing up again. Also... bonus: Esther makes the most delicious homemade pizza. Warm, real, nourishing -- just like the entire experience. Run, don't walk. This place is a treasure. -- Tanya xo

Excited to see Star Wars movie at a new theatre experience... let's see what happens...well, quite…read morea fancy schmancy mall the theater is located in. I want to quote the Wizard of Oz and saying "Ames you're not in Kansas anymore".. ha ha ha. Never been here before but tbh, malls are not my jam. I am a small business boutique kind of person. No offense! Lucky for me I've learned my lesson and I take a photograph wherever I'm parked however, in this case, it was a sea of cars with no real discernible markings that would make me remember... I digress ( and PS my photo totally helped me find my car) so, TIP: If you are parking in a strange place TAKE A PHOTO!! Anyway, we sat down in beautiful seats, looked at menus ordered food before the movie started. However, when you're sitting in a dark movie theater and your food is delivered, you can't really see what it looks like because you don't dare put a flashlight on because it'll disturb the other patrons. My tuna poké style bowl was delicious and the chicken tenders we shared were great! Tempura style cauliflower was meh and cold but,we ate everything! Would I do this again? No I actually won't and that's because I like my movie experience to be maybe with a little popcorn but not with a meal I can do that at home. I want my movie experience to be pure. I was super confused watching the film mainly because I didn't know the story and I haven't followed Star Wars since the originals. The craft of putting this movie together does not go UNNOTICED! The details are incredible! If you've never had a dine-in movie theater experience, I think you should try it. Glad I did!!!!
