I got these tattoos a few months ago. This is what they look like all healed up. It was great, the studio looked awesome and so neat. The tattoos were very tiny and so they were painless and only took like 10 minutes. They were a bit overpriced though, I paid $150 for both. I've had Abe do a tattoo for me of two medium sized candy hearts for literally $100 (though this was when he was working at bone deep so maybe that's why it was cheaper) And it's so funny but the guy who did my tattoo kept insisting I get the large tattoo butter but I really only wanted to get the small one. Anyway, I would come back for more but maybe just haggle better next time lol! Btw. Don't forget to ring the bell in their front desk. My mom and I literally waited 10 minutes thinking someone would come out to help us. read more

If you need more than the fact that I flew out from Washington, DC specifically for our tattoo session after waiting four years to find an artist, keep reading. His style: When you look at his work, you'll see that it epitomizes the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words" with every inch of detail carefully thought out. I recently got 2 tattoos done here by Abe. One tattoo is on my inner right arm. It was not an area I was looking forward to having tattooed since I remember how painful the one on my left arm was. (Left arm was done by another artist years ago) I was shocked at how light handed Abe was! It was a pleasant tattoo experience. I was not asked to come in to discuss any issue I had, and it was never communicated that the deposit wouldn't transfer. Since almost every communication made with Abe and Dave was via email or text, I'm more than comfortable with proving that their communication on my tattoo and issue with them was sub par. Went here with a friend for his tattoo appointment. It was my friends second tattoo (I've had nine, not huge numbers but enough that I'm familiar with the process / experience) While watching my friend get a tattoo I was impressed, Dave had taken a picture on a tablet and drawn several rough sketches over the area where my friend wanted his tattoo and got to work only slightly later than his appointment time. I had a custom piece I wanted and walked over to put down a deposit and get signed up expecting a similar experience with the shops other artist Abe (whose work I'd been looking at while we waited for Dave) And then everything went downhill. I don't know why on earth I didn't demand a refund right then and there whenever Dave decided to take a break from tattooing my friend to go smoke wax in the corner of his shop, apparently the guy can only finish a tattoo when he's really baked as he took a few bong breaks. The artist I would be working with, Abe was a nightmare. He told me to email him the ideas I had, so I sent him an email with a link to google drive where I'd put everything together for him. I didn't hear back from Abe until I reached out to confirm he'd seen it. His response (from his gmail account) "oh. I don't do Google Drive" Just e-mail everything directly to me. So I did, and based on our conversation about everything it seemed like Abe was on board and had an idea of what I wanted. My friend came with me for my consultation / appointment with Abe who didn't look happy to see me. When I asked him to see what he'd seemed enthusiastic about earlier in the week he brought out a mostly blank page with two print outs (from one of the images I'd sent him) that he'd done some muddy looking watercolor over. Both my friend and I had the same reaction of "What the hell?" to which Abe had the shrugged off response of "eh, I didn't really work on it." Seeing how disinterested Abe was, and the fact that he had literally garbage done towards showing us anything I decided not to get tattooed that day and reached out to Dave to see if I could work with him. This in turn became even more of a headache. First I e-mailed Dave about working with him, he told me to text him. Then we went back and forth about scheduling and what I wanted so again, I sent him a link to Drive and scheduled an appointment. When Dave then asked me to make a second deposit and I had to again explain what happened with Abe (probably the third time I'd gone over this with him) he never responded. The day of my appointment with Dave? I texted him to ask if I could bump my appointment by half an hour. Dave responded asking if I was someone else, then that I didn't have an appointment because I didn't make a second deposit and that my issues with Abe "I had to take up with him" They got a $100 from me for no work, which for a couple of pot heads sounds like a solid business model apparently. These guys are talented artists but terrible businessmen. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Me and my friends booked tattoos last August to celebrate the end of summer. All of our tattoos have faded and it's too long of a drive to go back to get it touched up. (I'll also mention that we get tattoos pretty often and none of our tattoos from other artists/shops have faded.) I got simple lyrics. The font of my tattoo didn't really look like the photo, but I don't mind much, I just expected better for $150. I have gotten better tattoos for free from artists who were practicing.
