I recently went to my doctor for a knee injection. I was told my knee problem was bone on bone. The injection worked for a couple of days and then the pain returned. I was seeing Dr Bonnie for a problem I had after a fall and I asked her if she thought a laser treatment would help my knee. She said it might so I had one done that day. After the first day my knee was feeling a tiny bit better. I have had 4 treatments and can now walk without pain and without a cane inside my home. I am 80 years old and don't trust myself without my cane outside my house. I can't say 100% that the laser treatment did it all. Perhaps the injection shot miraculously kicked back in, which I seriously doubt, and stopped the pain, but I believe the help has come from the laser. You can't go wrong when you entrust your care to the people at this clinic. Dr Bonnie is great and listens intently to anything you have to say. She lets you decide how to proceed with your treatment but doesn't neglect giving you all the options. From Dr. Bonnie, to Melissa, who gives me the laser treatments, and is so great, to all the rest of the staff, enough good things just can't be said. I am very thankful for the Ada Family Chiropractic team! When I began my journey with them I was miserable every day. I could not tell you how long it had been since I had a headache free day, my entire life was suffering because of the pain. I was scared to visit a chiropractor again due to issues with a previous chiropractor who would not listen to me. I've been getting adjustments and massage every 2 weeks for several years and I've never had a negative experience at Ada Family Chiropractic. I like the fact that they have a team of chiropractors and massage therapists because if someone is booked or on vacation, I don't have to wait for a specific person to be able to get in. They are all very good at what they do! The office staff is amazing and make check-in and check-out enjoyable and very easy. I also appreciate the variety of services that are available. When I have an area that just doesn't seem to be getting better, I'll do the cold laser therapy a few times and it typically heals and corrects itself. I highly recommend Ada Family Chiropractic. I broke my left hip last June and many of my organs in my mid section above and below my waist were thrown out of alignment when I fell. I am improving with each treatment I receive from Dr. Tim Hignite and Laser treatments I receive from two very good female employees. They accept Medicare and my personal insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) and they pay everything except the Laser treatments which are very reasonably priced. I have been seeing Dr Emmy for chiropractic adjustments for a while now, and she is great! I always feel like a new person when I leave. I typically have frequent headaches and a really sore/stiff neck and upper back, and she works wonders. I have seen a huge decrease in my neck and back pain, as well as my headaches. All the staff are wonderful and I have been going here for years. I've been dealing with rib pain from severe coughing and called because I thought I had a rib out of place.
