My one little male cat Benny had a more complicated neutering but they took such great care of him with no problems. My other cat Charlie was running a temperature. They had me hold him to calm him down and his temperature returned to normal. I explained my kittens love to be with each other and when I returned I was happy to see, my kittens were together in the cage I left for them. They were very reasonably priced and worked us into their schedule very quickly. I was also able to pick my cats up the same day, which I felt was less stressful on my cats. Sure their prices are a bit high, but they go over high & low estimates for any potentials before providing any service, so I don't understand the folks complaining about cost. And the level of care they provide is beyond worth it. Not only have they helped my senior dog recover so much from her ER vet anxiety/trauma from a past incident through their fear-free practices, but Ashley single-handedly located a splenic tumor on my senior dog just by palpating her belly that almost certainly would have killed her otherwise. Both my dogs have had surgical procedures here and were handled with the utmost care. The texting line is also a huge help for minor issues. I won't trust my senior with anyone else (we're headed there today for an echo!). If you're looking for the absolute minimum hands-off care, this is not the place for you. But I truly feel Ashley & the entire staff treat my dogs like their own.

When we first moved to Grand Rapids our dachshund developed an issue that required surgery. They did an excellent job diagnosing the problem. The staff was not only professional but incredibly caring and thoughtful. I wasn't sure we would be able to get an appointment the same day, but I was told, "In these situations, we will fit you in no matter how busy we are." When we arrived later that day to say goodbye to our beloved cat, the entire team made the process as seamless and compassionate as possible. And which was very important to me, we never felt rushed and were given all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. One of our cats had an eye that was always closed and not getting better. With her experience, Stevie is now looking great. Our other cat Penny would not stop peeing in the house. Dr. Matyas got to the bottom of that too and she is doing a lot better. This is not just a vet that wants to take advantage of pet owners. Dr. Matyas and the entire Lovet team actually care about you and your pet. They regularly check-in with you and your pet after each appointment. She spent time trying to find a solution and it really paid off. They are very up front about costs and offer a ton of options for payments. I highly recommend Lovet especially Dr. Matyas.
