What can I say about Adam Palmer that hasn't already been said? We looked and researched long and hard when trying to choose a photographer for our wedding on the windward coast of Oahu. It was difficult making a decision without actually being able to meet with anyone, being that we did not live on the island. I know my review is kinda late but I think he deserves a great review. My husband and I got married at Turtle Bay in Feb 2012. Our catering coordinator recommended Adam because his price was right and that her previous clients were satisfied with his work so we decided to try him out after looking at his online portfolio. A week after our wedding when we returned to the mainland, he sent us a link to our wedding photos and I was BLOWN AWAY by his talent. I am absolutely anti-photographs but it was my wedding so I had to get over my distaste for taking pictures. I am not photogenic and I hate posing because I feel awkward and it shows on photographs. But Adam was a pro and took candid photos and they came out great. He has the "eye" and not many photographers have that. I wish him alot of success in the future and as I mentioned before, his price is so reasonable compared to other photographers (up to 50 percent less) and in Hawaii of all places (where a lot of people go for that destination wedding. A lot of predators come out wanting your money). Seriously, I usually don't have a lot of faith in photographers because most think that buying a 5000 dollar canon SLR makes them "professional" but Adam is a true artist and would have probably produced amazing wedding photos of us with a Kodak disposable. I had looked at a couple of other photographers before meeting Adam at the coffee gallery to talk about photographing our wedding. I had been referred to him by our officiant and had seen his photos on his website before meeting him. His photographs are amazing!! Adam is AMAZING! My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the experience we had with him and how all the pictures turned out. Throughout the entire wedding process, he was very easy to communicate with and always prompt in his replies. He was very helpful in giving us advice for the wedding and recommending other vendors, when we needed some help. (By the way, the people we did book through his recommendation (musician and wedding cake) were wonderful too!) We didn't get to meet him until the day of the wedding but it felt like we knew him already. He's a really nice guy who is super fun and relaxed. Somehow he is able to get these amazing shots without you being aware of his presence during the ceremony. After the ceremony, he managed to get all the group shots and the pictures of just us done in a way that was quick so people didn't get restless but also was not rushed. You can tell that he is passionate about what he does and really enjoys it. He sent us a link to all the pictures just 3 days after the wedding and when we got home from our honeymoon a week later, the CD with all the images was waiting for us! I had my wedding a few weeks ago in Oahu and Adam was our photographer for an underwater photoshoot as well as our wedding day.
