We loved that the pier was far and secluded enough from the playscapes so it wouldn't distract our littles, and the kids at play wouldn't disturb the fish* ;). The playscapes were covered and nicely spread out with many fun play zones and structures (including two zip lines). The park has well-kept grassy spaces, walkways and restrooms, and you can even rent kayaks and pavilions with tables for parties. We had the best time and can't wait to return! I would highly recommend this park for your next family fun day or gathering. *We didn't see or catch any fish.

From the moment we booked to the minute we packed up, everything was smooth, easy, and honestly kind of perfect. The park is stunning and has so much to do. So much space, beautiful scenery, and tons of options for kids to run wild . My son had the best time celebrating with his friends. Between the playground, splash pad, and shaded picnic areas, the kids were entertained the entire time. No one was bored, not even for a second. There's something really special about this place. It feels like you're in the middle of nature but with all the modern conveniences nearby. It made the whole party feel relaxed and joyful.

It's great in theory but I found it a bit lacking. There's a rudimentary playground that's labeled as 2-5. And a crunk playground (3-tiered, with gnarly slides) labeled as 5-12. Don't get me wrong -- this big playground is awesome for older kids. But it's a bit too advanced/scary for a 3-year-old. Meanwhile, the little playground was too simple/easy for her. So there's a middle age that isn't really catered to. But, great for 2-year-olds and 5+. There are also multiple parks with playgrounds within a short driving distance (Champion, Olson Meadows) so you can easily park hop.

Unsafe at the moment…read more There have been reports recently that I have heard of men hiding in the bathrooms, including the women's bathrooms. One recent report was that 3 men came out of the bathroom and was headed toward someone's daughter. Another mom called the police recently because men were recording the children at the splash pad, but they didn't have any kids of their own. The bathroom by the playground and splash pad has two directions you can exit.. to the left towards the splash pad or toward the right towards the side wooded area. Please don't let your children go in there alone and always check the bathroom first. Lakewood park, please hire security and heavily monitor the children's area.

Huge water slide for bigger kids/adults and a smaller one for smaller kids. Outside volleyball, soccer, bmx trail, 2 separated playgrounds (one for bigger kids and one for smaller). They also used to have a rock climbing wall (unsure if it's still there). This makes for one of the best parks in Austin in my opinion.

It is surrounded by plenty of green space, trees and includes a frisbee golf park. The park is actually divided into two sections along Falconpointe Boulevard. At one location there are six picnic tables, four grills and six benches. There is a well designed Playscape with swings. An added bonus is the hike and bike path that runs throughout the large green space and the neighborhood. I was surprised to find a small T-ball field next to the park. At the other location just 200 to 300 yards away you'll find an outdoor gym area and additional covered picnic tables along with a nice small lake area with a fountain. The nice thing about this park is that you do not have to be a member of the falcon pointe homeowners association to enjoy this park. The photographs included in this review add to the story.
