This is a great family park which offers multiple activities for all ages. For kids there is a splash pad. For teenagers there is a skate park along with biking trail. It also offers kayaking, hiking and fishing activities. To add on top there is also a dog park where you can take let your fur buddies unleashed. The park is very well maintained and has plenty of parking options.

I absolutely loved this park when it first opened. It's still great, but I took off one star because the splash pad needs repair. The blue rubber flooring started coming up last year and I expected them to fix it while it was closed during the winter months, but I went last week and was surprised to see that it had not yet been fix. The floor bubbles up everywhere and is a bit of a trip hazard. It's not smooth and flat like it used to be. Also, if you're using the splash pad GET THERE EARLY. By 11/11:30am the place is PACKED and that includes on weekday while school is still in session. We arrived at 9:30 on a Wednesday morning and I was absolutely shocked by how many people showed up by 11:30. It was so crowded it wasn't even fun anymore for my two year old because he was overwhelmed (my five year old could have stayed all day). The playground is also not very appropriate for kids under 4. The playground is often crowded and because it's already not toddler friendly, letting toddlers climb around while there a big kids climbing everywhere is a bit nerve wracking. If you have older kids, the playground is great. There are also nice trails for walking or bike riding throughout the park and there's a skate park too for older kids and teens. There are lots to park throughout the park, but the lot next to the playground is kind of small considering how many people come there just for the playground and splash pad. Again, get there early if you want a spot. Overall it's a a nice park, just not my absolute favorite because of the splash pad floor and the crowds.

Gorgeous park! Lots of parking. So many trails to explore. Basketball court is nice. Splash pad opening soon. Bird watching was great!

Garey Park is an absolute gem!…read more We celebrated my son's birthday at Garey Park a couple of months ago, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we booked to the minute we packed up, everything was smooth, easy, and honestly kind of perfect. The park is stunning and has so much to do. So much space, beautiful scenery, and tons of options for kids to run wild . My son had the best time celebrating with his friends. Between the playground, splash pad, and shaded picnic areas, the kids were entertained the entire time. No one was bored, not even for a second. There's something really special about this place. It feels like you're in the middle of nature but with all the modern conveniences nearby. It made the whole party feel relaxed and joyful.

Those fees help maintain this BEAUTIFUL park, which offers tons of activities for families with kids and dogs. The bathrooms were quite clean and stocked with toilet paper. The playground was filled with kids having a great time. We enjoyed walking the trails along the San Gabriel River, and our dogs had a blast! They even have horseback riding and zip lines, along with numerous trails to explore! We've visited free dog parks throughout Austin, Leander, and Cedar Park, and they often end up neglected and trashy! I completely understand why they want to keep this place clean and welcoming!

The park has a number of apparatuses for children to entertain themselves through play. This park, approximately one acre, is located in the Silverado Ranch subdivision. Not sure if the Texas heat was a contributing factor, however, there was no one at the park at the time we were there. The park is well maintained and super clean. The grassy areas were perfectly manicured and aesthetically pleasing. There is also a humungous pool onsite, however, it did not appear to be operational...perhaps waiting for the hot days of summer. Silverado Ranch Park serves as a great connection point for families, children's and others to enjoy some down time and experience the greatest of being outdoors in a relaxed environment.

However, this is not a public park run by Cedar Park, it is for local residents and their guests only. It has a very well-maintained pool area and children's play scape. It has 33 parking spaces including two handicap spots. It has a large covered picnic table area with a grill and there are several picnic tables scattered about on the property. One thing that caught my attention was the fact that this park has a fenced in dog park as well. The pool area is one of the nicest I've ever seen in a residentialy owned park and is accessible by a key given only to the residents here. This park is a true asset to those who live in this area and the photos included prove it.

You can also walk on the unpaved trail along the water (it's very smooth and stroller-friendly). There is a playground. It's split into two areas for different ages. It's great in theory but I found it a bit lacking. There's a rudimentary playground that's labeled as 2-5. And a crunk playground (3-tiered, with gnarly slides) labeled as 5-12. Don't get me wrong -- this big playground is awesome for older kids. But it's a bit too advanced/scary for a 3-year-old. Meanwhile, the little playground was too simple/easy for her. So there's a middle age that isn't really catered to. But, great for 2-year-olds and 5+. There are also multiple parks with playgrounds within a short driving distance (Champion, Olson Meadows) so you can easily park hop.

If you're adventurous you can rent a canoe or kayak from the boathouse and take it out onto the lake as well. This park is a beautiful place to spend time on a weekend!

The black light tour is where you wear hard hats and walk with a light. The Wild Cave tour is for the extreme explorers who are okay with tight spaces . I chose the cavern walking tour. I highly recommend shoes that have a tight grip. The gift shop has really good options for keepsakes. Also, if you get thirst drinks are available to purchase.
