I shared that I wanted something that looked like it had always been part of the house and wasn't an afterthought. He took that to heart and executed amazingly. We wanted to be able to reduce the glare and heat from the afternoon, western sun and also wanted to create some privacy on the northern side of our patio that faced neighbors. The patio shades did both and we've received numerous compliments from family and friends. We even realized after installation (and a few weeks after having our new fence installed) that we needed to remove a railing and wanted to change the length of one of the shades to increase our privacy. From the first call, to the appointments, to follow up, Vince was friendly, professional, and thorough. He was on time for each appointment (estimate and installation), and he kept up informed throughout the process. We had a few west-facing windows in the house (two separate offices) where we found it difficult to work in the late afternoons due to the heat from the setting Colorado sun. Immediately after installation, we could feel the difference. I guess this gentleman, who mans this store front, bought tint crafters of Highlands Ranch, but chooses to work near his house downtown and so he rents out a space from the Maaco also at this address. Anyway, the weird name situation aside, he is absolutely fantastic! I had bubbled up tint on my back window and thought it would be a lot of money to get it off, if it was even possible, but this gentleman only charged $50 and did an amazingly beautiful job. He got it done in just under two hours and the window looks absolutely brand new. I have ugly purple tint on my other windows and am currently deciding whether it is worse to have no tint or purple tint, but should I decide that purple tint is worse, I will definitely be coming back to this gentleman - he is obviously an expert in his craft, and his attention to detail, speed and pricing was just phenomenal! He seemed like a great, honest guy who will be able to give you a quality tint job.

We recently had SG Window Tint (formerly SunGlo Window Films) cover the sunniest windows of our…read morehome, which is located in the Colorado foothills/mountains at 8500 feet elevation. We chose this company because of their many years of a reliable track record and ability to service their window warranty for any potential (yet rare) window damage due to temperature/solar changes in future years (when the tint is applied, the original window manufacturer's warranty is null & void, and we have a new home, Anderson windows, Windsor brand large patio doors, all only 2 years old). You can imagine what a predicament it would be to have a fly-by-night company install window tint and no longer be in business if you have a problem in the future. We didn't want to take that chance, so we chose the most reliable company in our area, SG Window Tint. As far as the process--our initial consultation with Billy and then the installation with Anthony & Christian, everything went seamlessly and perfectly (well, I know there really isn't "perfect" applications, but if there was, I would say they did this job perfectly!). The customer service by Billy is beyond what you would ever expect. He answered my emails promptly even at 7 am on the day of installation. I wanted to have several tints on site for a few windows in case I changed my mind and he called me immediately to review what I was asking and said the installers would bring those options if they are available in the warehouse (as all the window tints are pre-planned and ordered for each job). We chose Sunscape Designer Window Films by Madico, Duralite 30. The day of installation was also perfect--Anthony & Christian were so professional, polite, clean, on-time, and paid attention to every detail, even cleaning-up any cuttings or trash. You'd never know we had them working in our home all day except for the sunlight being filtered as they were working through the house. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with--we were pleasantly-surprised and delighted with their service and the outcome! I included a photo of our great room with the largest windows to see how it looks today. We are about 23 days out from our installation, so the curing and hazing is still processing and it will keep curing until 60-90 days out from installation. We've been assured that the window tint will be crystal clear after that part of the process is done--the tint is fairly clear now but we do see some circular patterns and small air bubbles which are perfectly normal at this stage. And there is a very minor lessening of sharpness, similar to when you look through plastic sunglasses, then take them off, the environment will look a tiny bit sharper without looking through the plastic lenses. Its so minor that we don't notice it anymore. But having the sun's intensity reduced is wonderful! We finally can enjoy these sunny rooms without being baked by the sun's heat or being blinded by the sun's brightness. We still put our blinds down in the early am with the sunrise on a non-cloudy day but can lift the blinds or open the silhouette blind slats sooner than before. The sun's glare on the great room tv is gone. We only wish we had done this years ago in all our other Colorado homes! We knew we loved the features of the SG Window Tint almost instantly upon application! As far as the price, you know the common phrase, "you get what you pay for," and if you want the best and a company that won't be out of business in the future for warranty concerns, it may cost more but you'll have these reassurances that come along with the best! I know this review is detailed and long but its thorough for those who really want to know the full scope of what to expect. I hope this has helped you with your decision.
