Their wheat toast was massive and hearty, with seeds on the crust. I loved it! Veggie omelettes are always a good test of a chefs skills as they can be super wet from the high water content in veggies. Ours were cooked perfectly, no soppy mess and the veggies tasted crisp and fresh. I don't know if this is a downside, but the menu claimed the omelettes were 4 eggs, but it sure felt like 6 or 7! It was massive! The fruit cup didn't have a bunch of copout fruit in it, it came with really fresh strawberries, bananas and blackberries along with cantaloupe and pineapple. The only truly negative thing I noticed was the jam came in a small plastic cup and when I tasted the jam, it tasted like the plastic, so I couldn't eat it. Overall this is a great breakfast spot that rivals the sitting veterans on the area (first watch, kekes). Give it a go, but be wary of busy rush hours!

My girlfriend drive up to Daytona Beach pretty often, and we've eaten here handful of times so far. We've tried both the breakfast stuff and the lunch stuff, and the chef really knows how to give food great flavor. The last time my girlfriend and I ate there, I had turkey and bacon melt with bacon jam (for the third time) and it's totally amazing. My girlfriend tried the veggie burger for the first time and she loved it. Tom the owner told us they make it homemade, and she could really taste the difference. She said it was the freshest veggie burger she's had. The restaurant has huge front windows and a really nice view of the main road that runs along the beach. My girlfriend and I usually walk down to the beach after we're done and go for a nice walk, since the beach is right there, too. I definitely recommend Adam's Egg, its a great place to go. read more

This waitress with short blond hair got mad at my family because we didn't give her a big tip, and the reason for this is because she wasn't wearing a mask and was sniffing every second! And one of my person said that they saw a piece of her booger shoot down! There is a virus going on! Like come one! It's not that HARD to wear a mask! She also told us to never return again! Our ROMEO(retired old men eating out) group is always looking for new breakfast places once a week to patronize. I found Adams Egg on your list and decided to guide the group of 5 to the location. A quaint Hole-in-the-wall with plenty of room and tables. The waitress, Randi, was friendly and did her job well. The owner came out and made sure all was well after the food was delivered. This is THE place to eat hands down. The food is exceptional. I have tried all of the breakfast items and I can't even decide what dish is my favorite ... but I must say the French Toast is amazing. This place is very low key but don't let that fool you because the food is great, priced right, the restaurant is spotless, and it's always service with a smile. A real hidden gem and definitely worth a try. All the dishes are made from scratch and the cooks recipes are really great. read more

I had the turkey bacon melt at this restaurant and it was amazing! The turkey is freshly baked and the chef puts a twist on the sandwich by adding a homemade bacon jam. The sandwich is open faced which I like so I can eat it with a fork and knife. The wait staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Also, server Courtney is completely awesome with very friendly service and her flamingo mimosa is amazing! I was very excited they accepted dogs. When we arrived a man said it would be 10-15 minutes and to wait outside. Around 20 minutes I went inside to use the restroom. There were only 2 parties in the entire restaurant and many empty tables. At that point we decided to leave from the lack of communication. Very disappointed and will not return. read more

Add to that the phenomenal fries - thick cut potatoes fried to a great crisp. Really good! 7/24 - went back for breakfast - another outstanding meal. The biggest issue was the quality of the food. If you're going to charge around $15 for a breakfast, put a good-quality sausage patty on the grill. It doesn't take much to make a flavorful sausage gravy from scratch either, but this gravy tasted like it came straight from a bag or can and had almost no flavor. The biscuits themselves were actually pretty good, but pouring margarine over the top completely changed the taste. The sausage patties weren't very good and seemed like they'd been left on the grill too long. The fried potatoes were decent, and so was the sourdough toast. The staff was nice and working hard--they were extremely busy. There were a lot of people in line, so clearly plenty of people enjoy the breakfast here, and the place itself has an interesting atmosphere. The price didn't help. $4 for a Sprite is overkill. We had one breakfast with an egg, sausage, toast and home fries, one waffle, half an order of biscuits and gravy, and drinks, and the bill was over $40. At that price point, I simply expect better-quality breakfast ingredients. This is just our experience and opinion. The staff was friendly, and considering how busy they were, I give them credit for that. Maybe we'll give it another shot next year, but this time around, the quality just didn't match the price.
