I wish we were locals, such a great little place, the owners make you feel like family, like you're walking into their home for a meal. It was a rainy busy morning and they still had time to speak to every table like you were the only table in the place. The eclectic decor is not overly done, it's fun and clean, something for everyone. Now the food, home cooking but better because someone else does it and the dishes!! I did not take pictures because we just dove right in, and it was Amazing!! Country breakfast and the country Benedict, both were fantastic. The scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy and the sausage gravy was rich and creamy. I wish we had one of these near home! I'm not sure how anyone could have a bad experience here, makes me question them not the restaurant!! We will be back next time!! Coffee was great too and the price is perfect for the amount of food you get, I'm sure the locals know this but if you're visiting, GO HERE!! Staff were really friendly! A husband and wife duo run the place and they were absolutely delightful as well as the rest of the staff! The inside was very nice and the food was AMAZING. They also offer a 10% discount to military and first responders. If I'm ever in Daytona again I will definitely be back! read more

Very casual! Food was Great! Mimosas were huge for only seven dollars. You can pick your choice of either orange juice, cranberry or pineapple or mix them like I did with pineapple and cranberry juice very friendly. We walked in with our Philly Eagles Jerseys on and the hostess tells me that their kitchen manager Angel is a big Waglea fan! They even played the Eagles song on and there were a few Bords fans! Angel came out and yelled "Go Birds" as we replied as well! We had a very fun time here. Can't wait to go back but this time for lunch so we can tried the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich! Popped in for a quick bite and really glad we did. Love that the owners were on site and working right along with their staff, how cool is that!! My wife got the Chicken & Waffle with a side egg and side of fruit. The egg was perfectly over medium. The fruit was fresh and still had snap but whoever cut the pineapple needs to learn what the core looks like and to chuck it, even the waitress was a bit shocked and said yeah that's obviously core. The waffle had a good crunch but was just slightly doughy inside, another few seconds in the iron would've been perfect. The chicken was supposed to be 2 tenders but was a breast instead, a little rubbery and the breading was too salty. She said we can eat here again but she knows what she won't order. I got the Can't Decide and chose bacon, biscuit & gravy to go with the egg. Egg was perfectly over medium, bacon wonderfully crisp, hash browns crisp and the pull they used wasn't too old and the gravy was smooth with no clumps and perfectly peppered. The biscuit was "off" (LOL, I'm not sure how else to word it) it was like it was 2 super thin biscuits one on top of the other instead of 1 fluffy one. Couldn't totally see the separation due to gravy quantity but could kinda tell on my fork and could definitely tell on my tongue. Whatever it was the one on top had a nice crispy outer and both were that perfect mix of flour and salt. Upon leaving my wife looked at the receipt and got fairly teed. Thev online menu shows free refills for sweet tea and $1 refills on juice. We each had a refill and paid full price. We hope when you visit that the owner is there and Kokomo comes on the radio. LOL it was breakfast and a sing along. For the atmosphere and the service we will return here at some point. We'll just keep a super close eye on the check and the wife will make a different choice. They forgot my order entirely !!! After I reminded them, they wanted to bring each item separately. Bought the wrong toast, and forgot my hash browns all together. This is a throwback to the 70's. Friendly, warm atmosphere and a huge menu. The food was basic and good. They claim to have a great potato salad, but the batch we had, had pretty firm pieces of potato. We told the waitress and change's to something else. Pancakes, eggs, grits, they do a really good job with it all. The staff were really nice as well. Give them a try! read more

We always like to try new places for breakfast and this one did not disappoint. Walking in the door it had a very friendly atmosphere. We were immediately greeted and seated. We had our option of breakfast or lunch so we chose breakfast. However, my sister likes deep fried mushrooms so we had to order them. Meh. The batter was too heavy and they were not evenly cooked with one being very cold inside. Hard pass. I had avocado toast and a side of bacon. It was on sour dough bread with a balsamic drizzle. I ate the whole thing. Another sister had two eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast and a single pancake. Nothing was left. The other sister had eggs Benedict and cheesy grits along with a Bloody Mary and hot coffee. Same result. Yum. All in all it's a great place to go. Came here for the reviews. It has easy parking. Came on a Monday and was sat right away. Ordered the veggie omelet and sausage. The omelet was okay, but bland. The sourdough bread tasted like it had cooking spray on it instead of butter. I will say the portions are very generous. My husband had the potatoes and they were crispy as asked. Service was decent. Hubs had the monkey bowl which had a little bit of everything - biscuits, sausage gravy and eggs. I had the eggs Benedict (and the staff happily substituted a sausage patty for the ham) with a side of hash browns. The hash browns were not really hot which was my main issue with the food. The coffee was just ok (very dark - took 3 creamers to get it close to the color I like). read more

On the way to see my little sister and stopped for breakfast. Just picked it out from Google. Ordered water and coffee and it came out fast. For my dish I chose the Monkey Bowl. See in the picture. Also chose the home fries. The service so far is quick and friendly. It has the typical diner atmosphere where they always have a friendly greeting. It is not large but a good size for a diner. The crowd was an older one which was not a bad thing. Here is my food looks good. Oh good home style cooking. The gravy and biscuits with the eggs and sausage was tasty and filling to get the morning started. This is going to get one of my rare 5 stars. read more

What can you improve. 1. Seating time. Originally told there was a 30-40 wait. No biggie, but turned into 1 1/2. Finally sat down, ordered our food and it took another 1 1/2 to get our food. From the second we walked in the door, we could tell we were going to like the place. Great atmosphere. Seems like a lot of locals go, as well as some tourists. The place was lively on a Sunday morning around 10 am. The kind of lively that lets you know a lot of fun and great vibes fill the place, but it's not rowdy. The service was spectacular. Everyone worked together to make sure drinks were always filled, food was fun and tables were cleaned. The pancakes were amazing! My husband loved his biscuits and gravy. It was great for what it was, a fairly priced breakfast lunch diner. The new menu came out a couple of weeks ago and the prices have skyrocketed. Around the same time, corner cutting measures started showing up such as refilling dirty old syrup bottles on the table with the labels peeled off from washing them over and over. You gotta pick, cheap or upscale, but you can't charge upscale prices and put crap on the table. For the same money or less you can go to much better places. read more

We eat breakfast here every time we are in or near Daytona! The food is amazing, the customer service is fast, efficient, and top drawer, and the atmosphere has a strong cool factor. You walk in this place as a stranger but you leave knowing you made friends. I highly recommend the Can't Decide as you will get to have the awesome pancakes.
